14/08/2024: A wonderful place. We ate (vegetarian) more than well and spent a wonderful evening at the Mint. Very kind staff, you can feel that they do everything from the heart.

05/08/2024: La Cantina del Vino, Vico Rosa 5, Polignano a Mare I had a wonderful experience at La Cantina del Vino. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and we enjoyed a wine tasting session with delicious wines, both white and red, which were exceptional. The owner served small snacks to accompany the wine, enhancing the experience. It was delightful to see locals coming in with their bottles to fill up with their favorite "house wines," which speaks volumes about the quality and popularity of the products. If you're looking for a peaceful local spot with excellent wine, this is the place for you. Highly recommended!

07/08/2024: Beautiful venue, excellent service. Friendly and very professional restaurant owner. High level cuisine, all the dishes served were truly excellent. Account absolutely in line with the proposal offered. Definitely the best restaurant (by far) tried in Polignano.

17/08/2024: I had the opportunity to try the room for dinner on August 14th, and honestly I expected more... menu description not consistent with the courses served at the table; a slice of dry carpaccio with old and tasteless potatoes served as a course of "entrecote with potatoes", a plate of fusilli with bland pumpkin cream instead of a stuffed pasta and much richer and more gourmet according to their menu, fish main course completely full of thorns, perhaps saving the appetizers and the staff as the only positive note. The worst thing was being called by the manager to settle the bill before we could even finish dinner, having to leave the dishes to get cold and stand in a long queue for payment! Very disappointing, a shame because the room deserves it!

17/08/2024: I had the pleasure of having lunch at the Specchia San Lorenzo restaurant on August 15th, and I must say that the experience was truly memorable. The refined and romantic location, away from the confusion and with a breathtaking view. The menu proposed for the occasion was well thought out, the staff attentive, friendly and always ready to satisfy our requests. Even though it was a busy day for the restaurant, we were served quickly and courteously, without ever feeling neglected

14/08/2024: First, bread and welcome champagne are provided. Jinggu ordered seafood pasta and I ordered grilled octopus, but mine was so so so... it took me a very long time to chew. The seafood pasta I took a few bites of was delicious. The table next to me was eating a huge fish and it looked very delicious.

06/07/2024: An enchanting location where you can fully enjoy the local flavors thanks to the skill of chef Mario who puts a lot of passion into everything he prepares. Quality and tradition are present in every dish, from appetizers to pizzas: everything perfect. I recommend anyone to make a stop at Mario's, it's worth it.

05/07/2024: Quality and friendliness: one of the very few places that encompasses both aspects. Run by Mario and Miriam, fantastic people who express professionalism and experience through the goodness of their dishes. I go back every time I can, highly recommended. In summer, you can enjoy the view of the square thanks to its outdoor tables.

20/08/2024: Honest prices, spectacular food, if you come to Polignano you can't miss trying this place by the sea, the specialty is the octopus sandwich various chips and fried foods to nibble on and a wide choice of pucce and piadine with both chicken and fish too good!

26/08/2024: This is an Italian take on Japanese dishes. Don’t expect any Japanese tastes. We were told the fish was fresh but sadly it wasn’t tasty. Everything was served with olive oil and herbs that’s often used in Italian cooking, which made everything taste pretty much the same. If you’ve eaten good Japanese food in major cities around the world, this certainly does not cut it. Service wasn’t great. Owners of the restaurant are the waiters which gives it a strange feel to the space. Price is what you would expect from a nice sushi restaurant, so at least that wasn’t a surprise. I’m sure all good intentions here but it just doesn’t even live up to what one might expect from a Italian-Japanese fusion restaurant.
