02/12/2024: We were a little disappointed due to the outstanding reviews. The ambience is unparalleled and the service is friendly. But the food only looked great on the menu. My fried potatoes with red cabbage were simple potato pancakes with raw grated red cabbage. This is not a high level of cooking and tasted a bit bland - like raw food. Still a nice evening, but you shouldn't go here if you appreciate very good food. Then it's better to trust the Michelin Guide.

05/11/2024: Amazing place! The food, the owner who took care of us and the atmosphere were amazing. They welcomed us really nicely and even put a candle on my desert as it was my birthday. We had tuna and octopus and both were beautiful. We also had an appetizer which was super nice and a delicious cheesecake. Highly recommend and book a table for sure as there are only few tables inside.

15/12/2024: Everything was delicious from the land appetizer to the fish first course, very fresh and plentiful fish..the price is right..and then there are the very nice owners..I will definitely return

10/12/2024: Excellent food and very familiar atmosphere. Restaurant located in the historic center of Polignano a Mare, very easy to get to, run by the third generation of the family that owns it and founded in 1926. We were served by the waiter Domenico (belonging to the family), who treated us in a friendly manner. and helpful. We ate as a starter or first course: “Strozzapreti alle Vongole” and “Cavatelli ai Frutti di Mare” and then as a second course we served a “Frittura Mista di Pesche”, all accompanied by a house white wine. Highly recommended and if we ever return to Polignano a Mare we will surely eat there. Congratulations to the entire team that makes it up.

25/01/2025: Intimate place with few seats and close to the historic center. Generous portions and overall good quality. Excellent welcome and service. Starter, 2 first courses and a second course (all fish, although the second course is not exceptional) accompanied by a bottle of wine and water, €70. Recommended for the quality/price ratio

09/02/2025: Share your experience...yes, let's call it experience that...because eating well is out of the question...I have so many negative things to write that I don't know where to start...in fact, I'll start with the only positive thing, the waiter who SERVED us AND I UNDERSTAND SERVED, not the one who took the order...so I said the waiter who served us, polite, professional...now let's get to the many sore points...oyster gone bad...Very salty risotto sent back by the 3 diners who took it after tasting just one forkful...not replaced and included in the bill! Octopus with courgette flowers but the courgette flowers were not there and with stracciatella but there was ricotta but come on everything is fine 🤣 Returning to the waiter of the order he takes us to the FRESH COUNTER and offers us an excellent frozen squid... and a very fresh scorpion fish from the catch of the day or rather the week before since he too, poor thing, was a sheet of ice... but there is a reason for everything madam... for my wife... it is frozen because you see we put it on the ice... Ahhh well if that is the reason you eat it!!! Having said that we got up without even finishing... bill 350 euros for 6 people including spoiled oysters 3 risottos sent back and a second never ordered... Sorry for the length but when after all this the Madam and I write madam because I am polite unlike her.... bursts out laughing in your face when you point out that in the bill there are things not consumed because they are terrible... I would say that the review ends here... please you who read do not go!!!

10/01/2025: In September, my husband and I dined at this Michelin-recommended restaurant. We tried the veal tartare, lasagna, spaghetti, and pork belly. The pork belly was a standout, and their deconstructed take on lasagna was unique and enjoyable. However, I would have preferred the veal tartare to be more finely prepared. A good choice for a fancy meal or if you’re in the area, though not a must-visit.

04/01/2025: If I lived closer to this fine restaurant I think I would be a regular visitor. We had dinner in a magical atmosphere with elegant dishes but with strong and persistent flavours. Excellent selection of wines. Impeccable service.

01/01/2025: Incredible sushi and fish. Very creative menu. Not entirely welcoming to solo diners so go early or later than peak times. Worth the wait but disappointing that the management was not more friendly and accommodating since I returned frequently and ordered / tipped well.

22/10/2024: Very nice little bistro restaurant. The waitress matches the atmosphere of the place, very friendly. Cocktail bar, little choice in alcohol-free options. We took a board to share. Very hearty and the cold meats present were very good.

18/10/2024: Very small and cosy enoteca. Great to taste local wines and cheeses. It was wonderful to experience the local culture and to see the locals buy their wine in bulk. 3L -5L

30/09/2024: Definitely the best cafe in Polignano! Very friendly service (who remembers the tastes of individual customers), excellent cortnetti with delicious fillings, perfect coffee, great view from the garden. I love going back there. I recommend it to everyone!

13/01/2025: After eating here I was vomiting for hours and then couldn't get up from my bed for some days with a huge weakness at all my body and a great stomach ache. Or their food is not fresh or they don't know anything about basic hygiene. In any case I don't recommend this place to anybody if only you don't want to spoil all your holidays. The dish in the photo that I ate was called "Il mare in persona"

18/01/2025: Nel cuore di Polignano, locale accogliente e personale cordiale. Una pizza leggera e sottile arricchita con ingredienti di qualità, abbastanza buoni anche gli antipasti, anche se alcuni come gli gnocchetti gratinati sembrano preparati molto grossolanamente, dalla confezione alla terrina.

17/01/2025: Pizzeria immediately at the entrance to the historic area of ​​Polignano in the first small square next to the cathedral! Nice place that blends in with the architecture of the place, without major pretensions, very simple place settings and slightly sacrificed spaces outside, but that's not a problem! Well managed place with typical Apulian products from taralli, olives and all the ingredients that are put on the pizzas or served on plates, even the dough is typical of the place, it is not Neapolitan so to speak. Fast and friendly service, quality pizzas and honest prices. Recommended as a place to avoid making mistakes 😉

03/11/2024: Peccato. Ha ottime recensioni ma ci ha deluso. Location da mensa aziendale. Pietanze con bellissime Descrizioni ma deludenti nel piatto. Un inutile sovrannumero di camerieri assolutamente gentili ma Troppo presenti. Inoltre ognuno che passava ti voleva Mescere il vino e non c’era modo di contrastare dato che ogni volta il cameriere era diverso. Avessimo lasciato fare occorrevano 3 bottiglie in 2. Prezzo: due antipasti, due primi , un altro antipasto preso come secondo ed un amaro…..190 eur con una bottiglia da 50. Relativamente troppo. Posto che non ricorderò o racconterò. Peccato.

02/11/2024: The best restaurant in this area, seafood is fresh and large portions. Their desserts are great. A very extensive wine list.

16/02/2025: We booked by chance and had a great time. Really good pizza and wide choice of starters. Also convenient for parking. Super recommended!
