20/01/2026: I was there a couple of days ago and I have to say the atmosphere is really pleasant, perfect for a quick coffee or a quick break. The staff is super friendly, they welcome you with a smile, which is not something you can take for granted these days! The place is clean and tidy, you can tell they care. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 only for one small detail: the interior isn't huge, and when it gets crowded, it gets a bit chaotic, risking having to wait a bit too long for a free table. Otherwise, though, the quality is excellent, and I'll definitely be back. Recommended if you're looking for a truly authentic place!

20/11/2025: A very pleasant surprise, the ambiance is meticulously maintained, with impeccable service, always attentive with respect and courtesy to the customer's needs. The food is truly excellent, from the appetizers to the main course (meat), and ending with the desserts, a testament to the use of high-quality ingredients, accompanied, of course (which is often not a given), by skill in the preparation and creation of the dishes. I could list all the dishes I tasted as delicious, but I'll limit myself to highlighting their artisanal cured meats, the carpaccio (perhaps the best I've ever tasted, amazing!), their pulled pork served on American toast, and above all their selection of meats! Being a group, we sampled two rib-eye steaks, a sakura hanami and a Scottish Highlander, both of the highest quality, but the Scottish Highlander, which I literally devoured, deserves praise for its truly intense and amazing flavor! In conclusion, a highly recommended place if you love high-quality meat, but good food in general!

It was a culinary and human experience that deserves top marks. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of truly rare welcome and professionalism. The service was extremely attentive, present, and impeccable, yet never invasive: a demonstration of kindness and thoughtfulness that makes all the difference. Special praise goes to the owners, who were always present in the dining room and ready to satisfy our every request, demonstrating a genuine passion for their work and a care for their guests that is hard to find elsewhere. As for the food, the dishes were divinely prepared. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, enhanced by a mastery in the kitchen that makes every bite a true pleasure. Whether it's the grilled meat, as the name suggests, or the other dishes, the quality is top-notch. 16/11/2025: The service is terrible because the young woman lacks courtesy. But the TV show needs to be told that if it wants to improve, it needs to display its prices and not give them verbally, using a fraudulent method. I only paid to avoid a fuss because I had other commitments.

It's a wonderful place, reflecting the lives of its owners, who maintain it with care, order, and cleanliness. The lady is wonderful: helpful, friendly, and always attentive. For those seeking a rustic, authentic place that exudes history, excellent cuisine, and the true meaning of the word "home," this is the perfect place. The breakfast is excellent: you can sense the quality of the service and the lady's experience. The room is cozy, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The staff is also always very kind and helpful. A house surrounded by greenery, surrounded by sunshine and animals that give you a Lion-like good morning!

24/10/2025: Magnificent feather duvet, everything clean and tidy, very helpful and professional staff, comfortable rooms, ample green space for walks and a tennis court, and a huge parking lot surrounded by greenery. Breakfast with truly delicious homemade products, and dinner was plentiful and delicious, as it should be in agritourism. I recommend it for both families and a quick business stopover.

02/03/2026: I went to Triticum for my birthday (there were five of us) and it was a perfect choice. A modern place with a rustic touch that makes it warm and welcoming. It was a busy Friday night, but the service was very fast and organized. My only suggestion is to turn down the music. The contemporary pizza is really good; The young waitresses, some super approachable, others more formal, but all professional. The younger waitresses are very friendly, kind, and sweet; they make you feel truly welcomed, not just a "customer." They give good advice and you can tell they care. If you want a well-made gourmet pizza and a refined atmosphere without the anxiety of a fancy restaurant, this is the place.

It's best to trust the staff's advice on choosing the right meat portions, otherwise you risk overdoing it (obviously, everything depends on your ability)... A vast selection of mixed meat dishes, truly tasty! And last but not least, the homemade desserts are not to be missed! I will definitely be back!

10/03/2026: A short, sad story! We're in Altamura... my wife is pregnant and we have an 8-year-old child. We've been out and about since early in the morning and can't wait to have dinner (we were so hungry) and go to a place we'd booked to rest. Due to health problems, my wife can't eat (pizzas, panzerotti, etc.). So I decide to do some research on grill restaurants and this place pops up, Thursday, March 6th. Google shows me 7:30 PM as the opening time. We show up at 7:30 PM, and... the dining room isn't set yet, vegetable boxes on the tables. The owner turns around in surprise, and I very kindly and politely ask if we can eat. In a very annoyed tone, he tells me we have to come back in an hour (8:30 PM). Undecided whether to wait somewhere else or find another solution, we decide to go to a bar to pass the time and then return. At 8:20 PM we return and... surprise! People are already seated for dinner (we could have arrived early too) and there's no room for us! Everything's booked!!! My compliments!!! From 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM, the gentleman fills the place!!! During the week, on a Thursday!!! (The government will be happy.) My impression? My accent is Salento... And he thought it was our last chance to eat! But instead, my dear! Luckily there WAS NO TABLE in your place... because we discovered a fantastic place where we ate like GOD and were treated wonderfully and pampered! Not to mention the price (which doesn't matter to me if I eat well). Best regards! And see you never again! I hope your place is always full and that there's never any table! That way people go eat elsewhere 😉

The menu price was €29, not €22 as advertised on Instagram (the torcinelli were missing, which they said should be ordered separately). And to make matters worse, the cashier looked at us with a disgusted expression and said, "How poor!" when he saw we'd only ordered two bottles of water. Totally unmet expectations. 23/11/2025: Agriturismo Madonna dell'Assunta is one of our favorite places! We visited with our young children, who saw the animals for the first time, and we enjoyed the local cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients. The food was excellent, and the service was excellent, courtesy of the young, enthusiastic, and kind staff. The air was crisp today, but not so much that it stopped us from taking a lovely stroll in the pine forest! Always a pleasure to return 🫶🏻
