18/03/2026: A simple and well-kept location, an excellent selection of beers, and friendly staff. Excellent falafel and tzatziki sauce worthy of a traditional Greek restaurant. The smoked Angus sandwich was very good, perhaps just a little too much arugula, which tended to overpower the flavor of the meat, but I certainly won't tear my hair out. We'll be back to try more! Oh, if you're complaining about the prices, you haven't seen the average of other places. I think they're in line, not high, not low. EDIT: We went back and tried something else. The battered haloumi was excellent, so we decided to get another portion. The falafel was always good, the tzatziki was a little less good than last time, but the fact that you can't find it the same is a testament to the craftsmanship. My chicken salad with Caesar dressing was excellent, very filling (if you want to keep it light, advise leaving out a few ingredients). My girlfriend's curry chicken with basmati rice was a little less delicious: the chicken pieces were perhaps a little too large, and the sauce needed more spice. The rice was okay. The artisanal chocolate cheesecake, with a chocolate cream that wasn't packaged but was clearly homemade, was excellent. Overall, another positive experience, with prices, as usual, perfectly average.

02/03/2026: I went to Triticum for my birthday (there were five of us) and it was a perfect choice. A modern place with a rustic touch that makes it warm and welcoming. It was a busy Friday night, but the service was very fast and organized. My only suggestion is to turn down the music. The contemporary pizza is really good; The young waitresses, some super approachable, others more formal, but all professional. The younger waitresses are very friendly, kind, and sweet; they make you feel truly welcomed, not just a "customer." They give good advice and you can tell they care. If you want a well-made gourmet pizza and a refined atmosphere without the anxiety of a fancy restaurant, this is the place.

December 20, 2025: I returned and I don't understand why it's not listed in the Michelin guide. Fantastic restaurant, delicious, well-prepared dishes (the tartare is mind-blowing, it melts in your mouth). There isn't a single dish that's poorly made: well done, well done, well done. Excellent service. Best meat restaurant in Altamura, hands down.

19/12/2025: I had lunch at OTTO and the experience was superior. It's not fair to call it a simple steakhouse: here, the meat is the starting point for a true gastronomic journey. Nothing is left to chance, and a precise, contemporary, and refined vision is clearly evident. The cuisine, led by chef Luigi Papangelo, is top-notch: each dish is carefully crafted, balanced, and rich in flavor. Technique, sensitivity, and a remarkable ability to showcase the raw ingredients are evident. Everything served becomes an experience, never boring. The meat selection is extensive and refined, with unique cuts that reflect a deep knowledge of the product. The wine cellar is also well-stocked and carefully curated, with unusual labels and always spot-on pairings. I couldn't recommend any particular dish, because on multiple occasions, everything I've tasted has been top-notch, confirming a consistent quality over time. OTTO is a restaurant that leaves a lasting impression, designed for those seeking quality, style, and substance. Highly recommended.

The Margherita DOP with buffalo mozzarella is convincing at first glance: a light dough, a well-developed crust, and a creamy mozzarella that enhances the tomato without overpowering it. Simple flavors but executed well, as a true Neapolitan pizza should be. The Provola e Pepe is also excellent: bolder, more intense, and very balanced. The smoky note of the provola pairs perfectly with the pepper, creating a pizza with a strong character but never heavy. The cooking is also noteworthy: a soft crust, a very dry interior, and quality ingredients evident in every bite. A pizzeria that works with precision and definitely leaves a great impression.

It's the ideal place to unwind and be literally kissed by the sun, sipping a glass of wine immersed in the tranquility of nature. Dishes are revisited, preserving the essence of our land without ever betraying its soul. One of its most obvious strengths is its incredible versatility. Despite its sophisticated setting, Stile Libero manages to be extremely inclusive: it's the perfect destination for a romantic dinner, but it's especially exceptional for families, thanks to the large open spaces where children can soak up the beauty. 12/04/2026: This pastry shop and ice cream parlor is located in the city center. Unfortunately, parking is limited, but it's easier to find nearby. Good-quality pastries, and a great place for a hearty breakfast with a variety of croissants and brioches. The gelato is also worth trying. Prices are moderate, and the staff are friendly. There's also a large dining room with tables and seating.

20/01/2026: I was there a couple of days ago and I have to say the atmosphere is really pleasant, perfect for a quick coffee or a quick break. The staff is super friendly, they welcome you with a smile, which is not something you can take for granted these days! The place is clean and tidy, you can tell they care. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 only for one small detail: the interior isn't huge, and when it gets crowded, it gets a bit chaotic, risking having to wait a bit too long for a free table. Otherwise, though, the quality is excellent, and I'll definitely be back. Recommended if you're looking for a truly authentic place!
