18/10/2025: Friendly service and decent portions, price seemed fair for the location. The ice cream wasn’t quite right — we had pistachio and caramel, but the flavours were a bit off.

03/10/2025: What can I say! We rushed to this place to escape the rain. We ordered two plain coffees, two espressos, and two cups of hot tea (which arrived without sugar). We went to the bathroom (dirty and without toilet paper). After consuming our order, we paid. What a shock! 33 euros, including 12 for a cover charge. What a cover charge?! Six of us sat at a table for two, not even a napkin left. Terrible experience, don't go there. It's the typical attitude of those who want to rip off tourists.

28/09/2025: I don't live in Taranto! I decided to order a cake from this pastry shop we've been going to for MANY years. I ordered a cake in person. With some special requests and even a photo of how we wanted it. It was supposed to be a 2.5 kg cake in the shape of a small cylinder!!!!!!!!! Three days after picking up the cake, I was told they couldn't apply the flowers I'd requested. But that's okay. Today, when I pick up the cake, I was presented with a 4 kg cake! A completely different shape than the one I requested. And the response? "Oh, there was a problem. Now I'm going to cry over the money" without even deigning to say I'm SORRY!!! No, dear sir, you're not crying over anything because I paid €70 for a cake that isn't what I asked for! I advise you to be more careful and, above all, be KIND AND RESPECTFUL to the customer who comes and pays, because you don't give anything away here. Thank you and goodbye.

22/08/2025: The mini pastries were very good, but the service from the lady at the counter was lacking in courtesy. In addition to the four small pastries, I ordered 5-6 meringues to take away, and they were dry on the inside and overcooked. Adding a coffee, I paid €9, which I believe was rounded up on purpose. Given the strong competition from so many excellent pastry shops in Taranto, I won't be returning.

31/08/2025: Excellent pizza, hard to find in Puglia because it's so cheap. The tuna steak and fish appetizer (simple but appropriate for the location) were delicious. The staff was fantastic at handling large tables with tons of requests.

19/10/2025: Honestly, I think the fact that you sit down and they tell you "you pay the cover charge even if you don't drink or eat" is acceptable, but the fact that because it's Saturday you're forced to have a drink even if you don't... (most of the tables were empty) (it wasn't the first time we'd been there) DISGUSTING! I WON'T GO BACK!

19/10/2025: The staff was arrogant and presumptuous. They forced us to get drinks for everyone, even though we didn't all want anything, with the excuse that it was Saturday and we were taking up seats. It should be noted that all the tables were empty. I'm speechless!

31/10/2025: An experience not to be repeated... after two days my partner and I still have stomach aches... do not order the fried food for any reason... The bill is high and the quality is terrible to say the least...

04/11/2025: Awful attitude of the kid serving outside let the caffè down. Walked past us a dozen times at least to serve everyone else and after about 15 minutes of waiting I asked politely in italian if he could please serve us and i was dismissed with a rude hand gesture. Later he brought out a colleague and told him to serve us. What was his problem? Perhaps that we weren't Italian.

27/07/2025: We've been regulars for years, and we've always had a good experience, probably because until now we've always dealt with Mr. Vito, an excellent and always very kind host. Last night, however, we were "lucky" enough to encounter a rude waiter. We'd simply asked to be moved from one table to another, as the one assigned to us was too close to some plants and had no air circulation, given the sweltering heat. After much insistence, the arrogant waiter was about to grant us our request, until the owner intervened, informing us in an arrogant and nervous tone that he, not us, decided on the table assignments. Ours was merely a request, not an imposition. We left, because courtesy and respect come first. We obviously won't be returning.

13/07/2025: Vergognosi! Maleducati, una donna incinta con un’urgenza di andare in bagno a cui è stato chiesto necessariamente una consumazione. Dopo che il compagno più volte ha ribadito che fosse incinta e che avesse un’urgenza è stato spinto dal titolare. Successivamente sono seguite intimidazioni da parte del titolare verso il compagno.

29/09/2025: If you love meat, this is the place for you. You can choose your meat at the counter. It's charged by weight. Order side dishes, and you're good to go. This is our second time here. It's top-notch. I highly recommend Bombette.

30/08/2025: First time at this restaurant, and unfortunately, the experience was negative. We didn't like the meat, so we left it. The service was quite fast, but aside from the head waiter and one girl, the rest showed inexperience. I'm sorry, but we won't be returning.

26/05/2025: Quand tous les restaurants sont fermés on est content de le trouver, c'est la seule raison pour laquelle je le recommande. Le patron était sympathique, c'est déjà ça.

10/05/2025: Questa sera siamo andati a prendere l’aperitivo per cui a Pasqua abbiamo speso 19,00€ a persona e lo stesso menu ci è costato 35 € a persona, penso che questo non deponga a serietà del locale, anche perché abbiamo invitato delle persone , evidenziando il rapporto qualità prezzo che questa sera è stato disatteso. Abbiamo pagato due porzioni di tonno sott’olio ben 40€, penso che non prenderemo più in considerazione questo locale. Vergogna!!!

20/09/2025: We had gnocchi and pizza, the gnocchi were good, but the serving was pretty small. The pizza was pretty normal. We also had the pistacchio cheescake and the tiramisú and they were average. The place and the service were nice. The bathroom was very unaccessible.

10/09/2025: Very good, inexpensive food. The host is a bit tired for the season, but still recommended.

06/09/2025: I've been several times and have had a great time. The location is very nice and very quiet. Fresh food and excellent service. We went late last night, and despite everything, they seated us and served us. The staff were incredibly kind and polite. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet evening.
