06/07/2025: During our stay at the hotel across the street, we ate here three evenings. No matter what, everything was delicious and authentic, from appetizers to dessert. Everything was exceptionally tasty and reasonably priced. The ambiance takes some getting used to at first, but as the roof of the terrace opens and the evening progresses, it becomes more pleasant and cozy by the minute.

07/07/2025: We ate tartare and donzelle with cold cuts as an appetizer (the raw meat was excellent), as a first course the pici with white Chianina ragù and those creamed in pecorino. What can I say... excellent! Excellent value for money. Generous portions, kind and friendly staff. Informal and quiet atmosphere. To return!
29/06/2025: Antipasto buonissimo e tagliate eccellenti, in un ambiente carino, quasi familiare con camerieri gentilissimi e simpatici. La serata è scivolata via senza che ce ne accorgessimo. Tutto molto bello. Prezzi adeguati all’offerta. Consiglio assolutamente .

01/07/2025: We had dinner at this inn, taking a platter of cold cuts and cheeses, a bruschetta with sausage and pecorino cheese and as a main course the ribollita. Quality food and pleasant location. I recommend it, also for the excellent quality-price ratio.

27/05/2025: 2 avonden achter elkaar hier gegeten. Ik had dit adres gevonden toen ik naar glutenvrij in de buurt van ons vakantie adres zocht. De eerste avond een broodje hamburger op, het glutenvrije broodje was erg lekker en als totaal helemaal. De 2e avond een glutenvrije pizza, ook heerlijk.
De toetjes waren zelfs allemaal glutenvrij en lekker. Ze mogen ook het keurmerk van de Italiaanse coeliakievereniging gebruiken en dus officieel gecertificeerd.

11/06/2025: I gave the environment a 5 because I like authentic environments, like an old-fashioned tavern. So if you have other ideas of what a trattoria should be like, taking a look you would probably leave. And you would do wrong because the food is very good, a mixed antipasto for two, I had pici with Chianina ragù, my partner a tagliata, cooked as she wanted and sautéed chicory, both more than satisfied. House red wine and in the end €20 per person.

21/07/2025: It's an Italian restaurant dream. Everything is good, perfectly seasoned and features the key ingredient. Wild boar tastes very clean without any gamey taste.the filled pasta has a surprising taste with pear. Papperdelle is perfectly seasoned. The artichokes are soft and creamy. Finally, the dessert is just the right amount of sweetness with lemon zest. Best part, it's affordable.
16/07/2025: A pleasant family-run trattoria, everything as it once was. Reasonable prices. The pan-fried rabbit, the pici with duck sauce, and the cappelletti with cheese and pears are delicious. Friendly staff. Generous side dishes. Pizza only on weekends. Frequented by locals.

21/06/2025: I'm not Italian, but this is how I imagine a perfect Italian pizza. The crust is crispy and thin, the ingredients simple but of high quality, resulting in what is, at least in my view, utter perfection.

Generous and characteristic local dishes.
All accompanied by a pleasant chat with the owner, Pino.
The terrace with its shade provided by a grape arbor is very charming.
