08/03/2026: The atmosphere is welcoming, but it can be quite noisy when the place is full. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The food is good and excellent value.

01/03/2026: My husband and I stopped here one evening for dinner... attentive and friendly staff, good pizza, flaky and light, good prices... the only negative note is the pizza toppings where more attention could be paid... mine was a spring ciaccino with only 2 slices of ham and 2 cherry tomatoes cut in half... too little.

14/12/2025: We ordered two Negronis, which were listed at €5 each on the menu, and a bowl of Ascoli olives listed at €3. Despite this, the final bill was €22, with a €9 difference that we couldn't figure out where it came from. The only thing we hadn't specifically ordered were some rather old chips brought with our drinks, which perhaps were charged without any communication. The overall experience wasn't a positive one: the place, despite it being a Saturday night, was completely empty, and much of the food listed on the menu was no longer available, except for the fried food. Furthermore, when we entered, there was a strong smell of cigarettes, meaning someone had been smoking in the dining room. All things considered, I wouldn't recommend this place.

20/03/2026: A few days in Buonconvento were truly enjoyable, thanks in part to the warm welcome and delicious food at the "Le Antiche Mura" restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food excellent, the prices very reasonable, and the staff was helpful and attentive. I would definitely return.

26/02/2026: 15 euro menu...spaghetti with garlic and mussels...simple and perfect...then a delicious onion omelette...water, wine, and coffee...good to say the least.

01/10/2025: Pici all'aglione, peposo with polenta, and grape and walnut cake. Amazing!!! Everything homemade, served with kindness and courtesy, and a more than reasonable price (€49 for two). Highly recommended!

02/04/2025: Wonderful. New management, new name: CONTRASTI: molecular kitchen. The owner or chef Christian was very attentive, and everything was delicious, a fantastic bread and all food.! I would like to go back to try the tasting menu!

24/03/2025: Non posso fare una recensione sul cibo, però posso dire che sono stati veramente scortesi, perchè dopo aver telefonato più volte per confermare prenotazione inviato messaggi, arrivati davanti al ristorante di sabato sera alle 20:00 ristorante chiuso, ci possono essere milioni di motivi per tenere chiuso, ma obbligo avvertire le persone con la prenotazione, comportamento non accettabile, senza alcun rispetto.

15/02/2026: Quick and respectful service. I paid for a well-made mojito on Valentine's Day for my girlfriend. The cocktail was truly delicious and, above all, beautiful to look at.

14/02/2026: I'm a tourist, I visited Siena, and during one of my walks I went into this bar. It's absolutely beautiful inside, and there's a veranda for those who want to enjoy the fresh air. The service was impeccable, the drinks were delicious, and that evening they had a karaoke night. I'm not Italian, but I felt right at home. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and I loved the music and singing. I highly recommend this place.

14/12/2025: I wasn't familiar with this place, but it turned out to be a wonderful discovery! They pay great attention to the food, which is essential for me as a celiac. Excellent pizza, delicious tartare, and the dessert was amazing! A truly inclusive place, we'll see you again soon!

02/08/2025: For the quality of the sliced meat, I would give it 6 stars going to the checkout, but I can't understand how a green salad can cost 9 euros when a sliced meat costs 18. I repeat, the sliced meat deserved 23 euros too... so it would be more correct to then apply €4 for the salad.

20/10/2025: An experience not to be repeated...we waited an hour and a half for a plate of penne with tomato sauce and a chicken breast...and the place was practically empty. As soon as we'd eaten our dish, we, like the other three diners, went to pay without even getting our coffee!

08/11/2025: This place was recommended to me, and I booked without looking at the reviews. Once I walked in, I wondered what it was like, and the reviews were pretty bad. I was obviously very biased, but I was pleasantly surprised by the speedy service and excellent food. We tried fragrant pici with porcini mushrooms, a truly delicious ribollita, and a tender ossobuco that melted in your mouth, accompanied by a fresh, crunchy, and flavorful mixed salad. I recommend finishing your dinner with their cantucci.

05/02/2026: A stopover place with home-style cuisine. Appetizers include the usual cold cuts (salami, ham, etc.) and crostini. Hearty first courses with slightly heavy but wholesome toppings...for those with a more delicate stomach :-) €22 with an appetizer, first course, water, 1/2 liter of wine, and coffee. There's not much else to choose from in the area!
