18/05/2025: Difficilmente lascio recensioni, nel bene o nel male tendo a non esprimermi. Ma oggi mi sento in dovere di fare gli elogi per un pranzo buonissimo. Servizio e gentilezza di prim'ordine. Il prezzo in linea con la qualità e il servizio. Consiglio vivamente!

12/05/2025: Como canadiense que visitó la Toscana por primera vez, me impresionó encontrar anfitriones acogedores, excelentes cortes de carne cocinados en coordinación con la experiencia de un carnicero y un servicio educado y oportuno!

06/08/2025: Nice place, a really nice location, nothing special about the pizza (price €19.50 + €3 cover charge), the pizza chef even had to complain in the middle of the room....., they were all foreigners, perhaps the place wasn't designed for a local family like us, too bad.....

21/08/2025: The restaurant has a beautiful view, but the food is disappointing and overpriced. You expect to enjoy delicious meals with that view, but it ends up being a letdown. You can find much tastier and more reasonably priced dishes in the side streets. I understand charging higher prices for the view, but I also expect the food to be flavorful in return. For me, this is not a place I would return to, and I do not recommend it.

21/08/2025: Pizza is delicious, very tasty cheese and tomato souce. Local white vine in carafe is also very nice. Beautiful view to all the main Square.

04/05/2025: Ci siamo fermati a pranzo. Preso un antipasto, un piatto di fettuccine, un abbacchio scottadito, spinaci e acqua della casa. Nella carne trovo un grande pelo nero... Io sono bionda... Faccio notare con delicatezza. La cameriera propone di fare rifare il piatto. Io a malincuore accetto. Peggio del pelo nella carne c'è il fatto che nessuno sia venuto a scusarsi e che il piatto portato in sostituzione fosse costituito da due pezzetti di ossa bruciate mentre nel piatto avevo lasciato un bel pezzo di carne. Volevamo prendere il dolce ma siamo andati via. Ovviamente messo tutto sul conto e pagato. 43 euro! BOCCIATO!

02/08/2025: For the quality of the sliced meat, I would give it 6 stars going to the checkout, but I can't understand how a green salad can cost 9 euros when a sliced meat costs 18. I repeat, the sliced meat deserved 23 euros too... so it would be more correct to then apply €4 for the salad.

22/12/2024: Uno de los grandes restaurantes de la provincia (Siena). Original y deliciosa comida toscana, muy local y de temporada. Voy allí con frecuencia aunque vivo a una hora de distancia. Estilo Slow Foods.

06/07/2025: Locale sopravvalutato per ciò che è realmente. La nuova location è carina, peccato sia l’unica cosa che si salvi. Personale impreparato (abbiamo chiesto cosa ci fosse nell’antipasto “crostini misti” e non hanno saputo risponderci) e troppo informale. Trovo inconcepibile proporre nel menù un antipasto toscano senza neanche l’ombra di un crostino nero e con tanto di mortadella di Bologna annessa. Altrettanto inconcepibile servire un filetto con speck e provola, la bontà sta nella semplicità e coprire il sapore della carne con altri sapori non da niente in più al piatto. Qualità della carne pessima, ho riscontrato problemi nella masticazione: troppo stoppacciosa. Ci è stato servito un vino rosso “caldo come il piscio” a detta della cameriera. L’unica cosa che si salva insieme alla location sono i dolci che si presentano molto bene e riscontrano pienamente i gusti del sottoscritto. Ad addolcire il tutto ci è stato presentato un conto a dir poco salato per la qualità della proposta!

05/07/2025: Nous sommes tombés par hasard sur ce restaurant situé en pleine campagne sur la route entre Arezzo et Sienne. Le restaurant semble avoir complètement été refait et ne ressemble en aucun cas aux anciennes photos. Tout s’est super bien passé, on nous a aidé à placer la voiture sur le parking extérieur. On nous a vite trouvé une table disponible et le service est très efficace. Les prix sont hyper corrects. 5€ une pizza margarita et les pizzas sont toutes environ à 8€. Nous avons prix un Aperol spritz qui était bien rempli et très bon, deux salades mixtes en entrée assez copieuses et je recommande en pâtes les picis au bacon et artichauts et les raviolis au pecorino et poires. En dessert, nous avons une charlotte aux fruits rouges. Nous avons passé un excellent repas en toute simplicité. L’Italie comme on l’aime. Je vous recommande à 💯 %

29/08/2025: Personally, since I'm not a food critic, if I like a dish, I write about it. Obviously, if that were to happen, I wouldn't like it, and on this occasion, I'd do the same. I like their pizza, as well as what they call ciaccino, and the prices are super fair. Yes, the place isn't clean; more attention would be needed.

13/06/2025: Einfacht typisch Italienische Küche. Sehr ruhig gelegen im der Toskana. Einfache gute Küche. Mit Bilder schön beschrieben wie die Gerichte aussehen. Nonna macht die Pasta selber.

18/05/2025: In posizione defilata, lungo la strada che da Castel porta a San Gimignano, la Locanda del Borgo è un ambiente tranquillo dove si mangia toscano e bene. Ottimi i pici al ragú bianco di cinta senese così come le caramelle ripiene con la pera e il formaggio versato a cascata. Gustosissimo il tagliere con affettati toscani (coppa, finocchiona e salame) accompagnato da crostoni e salsine, il tagliere di formaggi e…senz’altro la famosa fiorentina che qui è certo di casa. Prezzi non economici, ma ormai nello standard. Cena consigliata a chi si trova da queste parti.

20/08/2025: It was probably a bad night in the kitchen, but waiting an hour to eat two inedible hamburgers with meat that had the consistency of cardboard, pici with charred meat and salty and burnt potatoes also no thanks.... if you want to eat decently go somewhere else
