12/10/2025: We had lunch by chance; we were in the area and this restaurant was recommended to us. All the dishes were truly delicious, and the staff were courteous and friendly.

18/08/2025: The restaurant is strategically located, close to the highway and easily accessible from many destinations. The pizza, quite thin and large, is very tasty and generously topped. Absolutely excellent value. I strongly advise against the appetizers, which are completely overpriced. Despite the high-quality ingredients, the portions are small.

21/10/2025: Fantastic restaurant in Siena Square. The cheese board is delicious, with several jams. And the Neapolitan pizza is delicious.

11/09/2025: We were a part of 11 and we all enjoyed this restaurant that much we went twice. Staff were very friendly and nothing was any trouble . Food was bello and it all came out at the same time 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽 I would highly recommend

09/09/2025: DELICIOUS LUNCH INSIDE A CASTLE ! My wife and I arrived in Florence by Bullet Train from Rome on Sunday, March 23rd. A well appointed king suite on the 5th floor of the luxurious Hotel Berchielli would be HOME for the next 4 days. Hard to beat that view of the picturesque River Arno ! We had a couple of day tours planned while in Florence and had engaged the services of our fav limo tour driver Martin who knew the ropes around here better than most. And more than that Martin had become our good friend since we first used his services 18 months before when he drove us from Florence to Bologna via the scenic route. On Monday Martin picked us up out front to begin our road tour of Tuscany. AMAZING SCENERY EVERYWHERE ! We stopped at Piazza del Campo for a look around...Siena Cathedral was beautiful ! In the distance I could see a large structure that looked like a castle. I said to Martin that I had never seen a castle....then we will go there Michael was his reply. Martin let us out at the front entrance while he parked the limo...and then he joined us within a few minutes. WOW ! What we could see out front sure looked majestic. NOTE ! San Gimignano is a small walled medieval hill town in the province of Siena, Tuscany, north-central Italy. Known as the Town of Five Towers, San Gimignano is famous for its medieval architecture, unique in the preservation of about a dozen of its tower houses which with its hilltop setting and encircling walls, form "an unforgettable skyline". In the 3rd century BC a small Etruscan village stood on the site of San Gimignano. Shortly after we entered through the front gate my wife bought a beautiful Italian wide brimmed straw hat to replace the one left behind on the Bullet Train. We walked along the pristine paved paths looking at the wide variety of small businesses designed to please the hordes of tourists who visit here. At around 1pm we decided it was time to have some lunch and Martin knew the perfect spot...La Biscondola. We found a level table on the sloping outdoor patio and a smiling server named Giusy brought us menus. FIRST UP ! I ordered a bottle of Vale Blonde Ale to come out with our glasses of iced waters. I also asked Guisy to bring me a tall stem glass. FOOD ! I wasn't really sure what I wanted so I thought ordering a Bruschetta would be a good start. My wife and Martin both went with serves of Zuppa Toscana di Farro ( Tuscan spelled soup ). My ice cold blonde ale in a tall stem glass tasted very good. SUPER FAST SERVICE ! Before we knew it our server Giusy brought everything out to our table. My wife and our friend Martin commented how satisfying their soups tasted....it was a chilly day. OMG ! When I ordered my bruschetta I figured it would be a small serve and then I would order something else. BIGGEST BRUSCHETTA EVER ! But I tell you what....it was totally delicious. DESSERT ! We had plans to buy gelatos at a very famous gelateria up the street but some sort of cake sounded nice. When I was checking out inside a bit earlier I saw this interesting looking cake on the bar counter. Giusy told me it was called Panforte Fichi e Noci ( figs, nuts, honey ). Everyone agreed we should have some. Soon after Giusy brought out 6 thin slices on a platter...it tasted dense, rich and very flavorsome. We loved it. I had a lovely chat with Stefania the owner before we headed off on our merry way. A VERY ENJOYABLE LUNCH !

03/09/2025: Cozy atmosphere really an Italian square you felt like a local. But you can get the same pizza in Sweden at any pizzeria. The olives are boring and the canned mushrooms. Very disappointed. Had heard a lot of good things about this place but am disappointed.

29/08/2025: Ordered a pizza for takeout. The opening hours on Google are incorrect; the restaurant didn't open until around 6 p.m. The pizza is delicious and tasty at a fair price. We'll be back when we're in the area.

02/10/2025: We had a fantastic experience with La Crocetta Menchetti Montepulciano that helped us organize a pizza party for 40 people at Villa Apparita the day after our wedding. A couple of months in advance, we coordinated everything by email, and just a few days before the event I sent them the toppings and confirmed the pick-up day and time. Everything was perfectly arranged, just as planned. The pizzas were excellent — our guests absolutely loved them! Organizing for such a large group could have been stressful, but their support and reliability made it smooth and easy. I really appreciate their time, flexibility, and support, and I highly recommend them if you’re in the region and need a large amount of delicious pizzas for an event or gathering.

06/10/2025: Pasta is sadly flavorless and very watery / not seasoned. tortelli was OK. the porcini was fresh at least. but i'm very puzzled why this place has such good reviews when the food is this bland

12/10/2025: Sorry the pizza was so good we couldn’t let the camera eat first! Fantastic little local pizzeria with other menu items, was recommended by a vineyard owner and place was very good, highly recommend from a picky eater

12/10/2025: We stayed close to this restaurant in 2008 and walked from our villa every evening for dinner here. The best food and service we experienced and we cannot wait to revisit in April 2026 when we stay in Montepulciano nearby.

19/10/2025: The food is truly excellent, with generous portions. The prices, which might seem moderately high, are actually very reasonable, given the quality of the ingredients. The staff is friendly and helpful. The space is spacious and well-air-conditioned.

02/10/2025: We arrived late, at 2:30 pm on a Sunday, and were greeted without any problems and fed quickly without a long wait. The food was good: two delicious mixed grills, grilled octopus, grilled radicchio, baked potatoes, and spinach; three main courses and three side dishes for two, plus an excellent wine, a Pinot Grigio Ranata from the eastern Friulian hills. We left full and happy, spending €80. The waiters were all very helpful and friendly. We used to come often in the past, both here and when it was in its old location, but we hadn't been there recently. Guilty. It's time to start again. On Sundays, it feels like a place for special occasions, with family tables like we used to see in years gone by... it's a good feeling 👍👍

01/11/2025: Very nice and well-decorated place, the staff is friendly and professional, and the pizzas are truly excellent, both the tasting and Neapolitan versions. I recommend it :)

31/10/2025: Excellent cuisine. Unique offerings. The pizzas are visually works of art. Very busy. Fast food! Young and efficient staff.

06/10/2025: Very bad foot. We do not recommend the slices of beef because it is uncooked. It was very tough. The service was also very disappointing. Very long waiting time and deserts (pana cotta) were not available.

04/10/2025: If you want to eat inexpensively but still enjoy delicious food, this is the place. Locals frequent this place, which is definitely a good sign. The service was friendly and quick. The food was very good, with the meat being rare, typical of Tuscany. The portions were generous. Some guests brought their dogs, so if you have a dog, you can apparently bring it along. If you're looking for a touristy place and expect an upscale atmosphere, this is the place for you. If you want excellent Italian food, this is the place for you.

29/10/2025: Social restaurant: helps young people with difficulties enter the workforce. For lunch, they offer a full work menu, very generous. When they make it (Tuesday and/or Thursday), they serve a thick, well-leavened, and easily digestible pizza: 3 or 4 flavors available, so you have to be satisfied and not be too demanding. The atmosphere is friendly and pleasant. They are attentive to lactose intolerances. They also organize special events on certain evenings. I had lunch with the family on Saturday: the menu featured a charcuterie board: excellent!!!! They also prepared lactose-free Easter dove cakes that evening. They often organize themed dinners: Irish, Indian, Mexican, and blind dinner.
