29/06/2026: A Trap Not Just for Tourists I entered this place to order four takeout pizzas. After choosing from the menu displayed at the entrance, I approached the cashier and ordered two Margheritas and two Biancaneves with the addition of prosciutto and chips. While the cashier was entering my order, I noticed that instead of two Biancaneves, he had written down two San Daniele pizzas with chips. I immediately pointed this out, thinking it was a simple mistake. His response was: "The pizza chef makes you two San Daniele pizzas, otherwise he doesn't know which pizza to make." I explained that I didn't want two San Daniele pizzas, but two Biancaneves with the addition of prosciutto and chips. I also pointed out that the San Daniele pizza, in addition to having different ingredients (including tomato), is also significantly more expensive: the Biancaneve costs €4.50 plus supplements, while the San Daniele pizza costs €9. With supplements, the difference would have been about €3 per pizza, for a total of €6 more. At that point, the cashier went to the kitchen and returned almost immediately, saying to me in an annoyed and arrogant tone: "As I said, you can't do that. What are you trying to do? Are you wasting my time?" Faced with such behavior, I decided to leave without buying anything. As I left, the cashier continued to complain and even tore up the order in front of me. I'd never had an experience like this. I can understand a mistake, but not the arrogance and total lack of helpfulness toward a customer who was simply asking to pay for exactly what he'd ordered. My impression is that they tried to get me to buy a more expensive pizza instead of the one I requested, which I find very serious. They lost an order of four pizzas and, more importantly, a customer who will never return. First of all, the San Daniele pizza contains tomato, while I always order white pizzas because I'm allergic to tomato. This proves I wasn't trying to "be clever," but simply ordered a Snow White with the addition of prosciutto and fries, as requested from the beginning. Furthermore, when I ordered, you directly added two San Daniele pizzas without telling me. I only noticed this because I was looking at the order. If I hadn't been paying attention, I would have paid for two completely different pizzas than the ones I ordered. It's not about the €6 difference. It's about principle and respect for the customer. What I got was the clear impression that they wanted to replace one pizza with a more expensive one without informing me. As for "you get up early every morning to work," I assure you, you're not the only ones. The others work and make sacrifices too, so that doesn't justify the way I was treated. I'd also like to inform you that at the pizzeria just downstairs, the pizza chef has no difficulty making a Biancaneve with Parma ham and fries. It's evidently possible to do so without getting confused. Finally, since you claim I'm the rude one, I suggest you simply specify on the menu that the pizzas cannot be modified by adding ingredients. This will avoid misunderstandings and, in your opinion, even "getting confused." I wish you the best of luck. A San Daniele is a different, more expensive pizza with tomato sauce, which I'm allergic to. When I asked to correct the order, I was treated rudely and told it "couldn't be done." I left without buying anything. Terrible customer service. Avoid this place.

31/01/2026: I'll tell you about my experience. This evening I was near the pizzeria in question, after ordering my Margherita + arugula takeout (always delicious), and for this very reason I decided, for the first time after several home orders, to pick up my pizza in person. Once I arrived, however, I found a disaster... the delivery guy urinating in front of the door (I recognized him because he's the same guy who delivers pizzas to my house several times, with a rather gaudy machine), there were heart-rending screams inside the restaurant itself, but the most exciting thing came later... The moment I (pretending nothing had happened) asked to pick up my order, the person I believe to be the owner, to reach the box (located on a rather high shelf, rather inconvenient in my opinion), used the arugula containers, the same arugula he later used to top the pizzas. I've immortalized this exciting action in a photo that I'm attaching. Delicious! When I got home, I enjoyed the pizza more than usual, and it tasted the best I've ever had! Thank you ALWAYS.

22/06/2026: A casual pizzeria restaurant, good food, generous portions, and friendly and helpful waitresses. A quiet place, we spent a pleasant evening, even playing the board games available while waiting for our dishes.

28/05/2026: I've been going to this pizzeria for several years, unfortunately two weeks ago I ordered a pizza, I noticed that the pizza was half cooked and half raw. I've noticed that when Mr. Giac makes the pizzas, they are perfect, but when the other pizza chef makes them, the pizzas are not good at all, lately I had to throw it away. This is not good because it loses customers.

23/02/2026: This is a historic pizzeria for me, as I've been going there for many years. The problem is that the prices are now too high considering the size of the pizza itself, which decreases over time.

18/07/2026: Excellent pizza, tasty and well-topped. They have different doughs and flavors. My absolute test of a new pizzeria is always the pizza with buffalo mozzarella: tried and tested. At my table, they had a pizza with capocollo and burrata, which I tried and it was really good, even if a bit heavy for my taste, but definitely recommended. The service needs improvement. Maybe it was because it was Saturday night, but those with pizza ate first, and those with meat ate after everyone else had finished, which isn't very nice. There's room for improvement, but the pizza was excellent nonetheless!

10/07/2026: A go-to place since I was little, and even more so after going vegan. The best pizza in all of Lecce! Very friendly staff. 10 out of 10.

04/04/2026: We ordered five sandwiches (sitting bull: bread, veal burger, bacon, cheddar, and raw onion). So where to begin? Poor-quality 3D-printed bread, a tasteless burger, at least when cooked thoroughly, and cheddar that tasted like plastic. But worse still, instead of bacon, we received a slice of PERFECTLY square cooked ham inside the sandwich (definitely hand-cut). Slow and cumbersome service, and they charge €2 for a cover charge, which includes disposable tablecloths, plastic cups, and common cutlery.

17/03/2026: I've been coming here for years and I'm very happy with the food. The pizza is excellent, but you absolutely have to get the mixed fries platter. The staff and owners are fantastic.

11/07/2026: I'll be honest, terrible service!!! There were 9 of us, we ordered appetizers, first courses, and pizzas, which all arrived at the same time. The first waitress disappeared in a second, which I don't think is normal. The grilled meat was left with the appetizer and everything else. This already makes it clear that the service wasn't the best, not to mention the ladies' bathroom, which was in terrible condition, with the smell, etc., but the most absurd thing was that when it came time to pay, the owner of the restaurant informed us that her POS terminal was broken. Now, if it were really broken, I think they would have told us before the service so that the customer could organize themselves. Instead, we were only informed of this at the last minute. I think that between the service, the cleanliness, and the food, I will never return to that restaurant again.

09/02/2026: Definitely not a good pizza. The place doesn't have an electronic payment service. And they don't even issue receipts. I strongly advise against it.

30/06/2026: Excellent bakery and focaccia shop. Unfortunately, a few days ago I had to report something unfortunate. I bought some homemade bread (the bakery's specialty) and found the inside blackened, as if it were dirty. I couldn't figure out what was wrong. I threw the bread away, and for now, I can't bring myself to buy from this bakery again.

22/02/2026: Excellent pizza with quality toppings, excellent dough, very light and very digestible, a slightly dated environment but I focus more on eating well, very kind and helpful staff, we will definitely be back 😉

02/01/2026: A family-friendly, slightly retro location with a touch of old-world charm. The pizza is really good and easy to digest. The quality/price ratio is excellent. We'll definitely be back.

08/06/2026: Spacious rooms with a safe, fridge, and hairdryer. The shower is very spacious, with a hydromassage jet and lighting effects. Excellent breakfast and evening restaurant. Good value.

31/07/2026: We don't understand the overwhelming negative reviews from Poles. We ate at this restaurant three days in a row; the pizza was excellent, the pasta was excellent, and the drinks were fantastic. We felt very comfortable there, thanks to the fact that it's run entirely by a family – the atmosphere is unmistakable, and the waitresses greet people with a smile and kindness. We highly recommend it, greetings from Poland :)

31/07/2026: As a tourist, I ate here multiple times while in Catania, without issue. The staff is very friendly, the food is very tasty, and I would recommend to others.
