06/05/2026: Recommended by my cousin, I went for dinner with the kids.
A very quaint place.
Excellent meat and pizza, good service, generous portions, and fair prices.
We spent time chatting with the owner (I think), who was very kind and helpful.
I went two nights in a row (why change if you're happy with it) and in the end, the real question is: would I go back?
Absolutely.
27/04/2026: We were welcomed even though the place was very full with great courtesy, we ordered some bruschetta that was nothing short of exquisite and not to mention the pizza, truly excellent in everything from the dough to the toppings. Characteristic Sicilian-style atmosphere, I was truly satisfied, I will return again.

Tonight, on the recommendation of friends, I went to this place with my dad and I have to say I really enjoyed it... welcoming, well-maintained, clean, and with a family atmosphere... the pizza was truly excellent, among the best I've ever had, crispy dough, top-quality ingredients. The service was also quick and very attentive and helpful... ample parking... I will definitely return to this place because I was super satisfied... also, a truly unique gem was the wonderful scent of night-blooming jasmine that makes everything even more pleasant... even the entire garden area was cared for down to the smallest detail... My heartfelt compliments for everything 😊

08/06/2026: I've always eaten pizza at the restaurant and have always been satisfied because the pizzas are really good
(we usually have aperitifs). Today, for the first time, I ordered them from home and they arrived on time, piping hot and delicious, just like at the restaurant.

07/06/2026: We ordered pizzas, but after waiting over two and a half hours, they still hadn't been delivered. When we contacted the restaurant, we were told that the order had been lost. The pizzas eventually arrived, but we weren't asked to reconfirm the order.
We understand that unexpected events can happen, but we would have appreciated more timely communication and greater care in managing the situation. Overall, the experience didn't live up to expectations.

30/06/2026: Excellent bakery and focaccia shop.
Unfortunately, a few days ago I had to report something unfortunate. I bought some homemade bread (the bakery's specialty) and found the inside blackened, as if it were dirty. I couldn't figure out what was wrong.
I threw the bread away, and for now, I can't bring myself to buy from this bakery again.

17/07/2026: This is a lovely place with a mountain atmosphere, right down to the name "Baita," which certainly makes sense given its location in Nicolosi, just steps from the Etna National Park. The atmosphere is welcoming both inside and on the small outdoor veranda, which is truly pleasant in the summer. I'd give the food a 4/5, meaning it's good, but home-style; it doesn't offer an extraordinary culinary experience. I'd also give the staff a 4/5, meaning they're kind and attentive, but could use a little more effort. There's no dedicated parking, so you have to wander through the town's various alleys. The bathroom was very clean. I'd say the prices are definitely not cheap. €15 for a plate of tagliatelle with mushrooms isn't a steal, but it's not cheap either. The same goes for a buffalo mozzarella with prosciutto for €10. A Campari Spritz is excellent for €7. I'll return if I'm in the area, but I wouldn't drive all the way to Nicolosi specifically to visit this restaurant. I believe my 4-star rating is absolutely fair, and perhaps a little generous. In conclusion, you won't go wrong either by going or not. It won't be an extraordinary experience, nor will it be a terrible one.

The pizza was stringy, the fries raw and unsalted.
I called their number to ask if they could cut the pizzas (given the delivery delay), and initially they said yes. After a few moments, the pizza chef said in the background that they had already left because the pizzas were already boxed.
