I'm allergic to food, and this caused a reaction that required me to take medication to help. Furthermore, the hotel's official website makes no mention of the presence of animals on the property: crucial information for those like me who suffer from allergies, which could have influenced my decision to book. I reported the issue to management, who removed the bowl and the cat, but refused any form of refund despite the inconvenience caused. A hotel should ensure a safe environment for all guests and, at the very least, be transparent in the information provided. I will not return and I do not recommend this hotel.

08/02/2026: Very kind staff. Terrible owners. We asked if we could have dinner, but by changing our plans upon our arrival, they forced us to pay for a dinner we never ate. They were extremely rude and even made things difficult for the staff. Terrible structure. Money-hungry and not at all friendly. Absolutely not recommended.

23/02/2026: I have to say that the overall experience was a bit of a disappointment. The pizzas were good but overpriced for what you get. With those prices, I definitely expected better. The fried seafood was good but excessively greasy. The biggest disappointment was the "fried tuma" appetizer. Anyone who's local knows what tuma is made of and how it looks when cooked. What arrived at the table was some unspecified cheese (good if I want to indulge in a fast food cheat meal) but it had nothing to do with tuma. I also found a piece of paper towel in the middle of the cheese on the pizza, but that can happen. Unfortunately, there's only one mixed restroom (I'm talking about the upstairs room, the only one open when I visited on Sunday, February 22nd) that already had no paper towels at 9 PM. What surprised me most was thinking about what if someone wanted to eat there with a stroller or a disabled person? It's absolutely impossible. Very loud, DISCOUNT NOT APPLIED CORRECTLY. I paid about €3 more, but whatever. I have to say, with a heavy heart, I don't think we'll be back.

28/02/2026: We decided to try this trattoria at the recommendation of a friend. It wasn't an unforgettable experience, but overall it deserves a positive rating. We had a rustic appetizer, with very good mortadella, peperonata, and parmigiana. For the first course, pappardelle with mushrooms and tagliatelle with mushrooms and sausage. The first was good, although it could have benefited from a few more mushrooms. The second course was perhaps a little overcooked, but still good. For the second course, the grilled meat was disappointing, both in quantity and quality (the roulade was bad, the sausage was scant, and only the slice of meat was good). The tagliata with mushrooms and arugula was much better, but excellent on the palate. Finally, I enjoyed the house red wine.

27/08/2025: Horrible pizza. We ordered two, a patapizza and a quattro stagioni. The first one had the fries from the day before, so they were hard and tasteless. The quattro stagioni had anything but fresh ingredients, and they were also bland and tasted like something out of a bad shop. I can't understand why it has such high stars. I only ate it because I hate food waste.

12/03/2026: I don't recommend it. It's the only place in Sicily where we were charged extra for a table. Plus, we were given a bad price. We were supposed to pay 13 euros, but we ended up paying 18 euros. I should mention that we were the only customers at the time. The pizza itself was simply average.

17/02/2026: A pizzeria from another era, both in terms of atmosphere and prices. Very good pizza, friendly service, and reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and down-to-earth. We'll be back in the summer.

The food is good, the place is welcoming, and the staff does their best to accommodate their guests' needs. We returned after a few years and our appreciation hasn't changed. We had a lovely evening.
