15/11/2025: This place is stuck in the 1980s. I tried to book online using the service available on their website. After several phone calls to confirm the table, I was told that online reservations weren't even checked. Therefore, there were no reservations in our name. This restaurant is recommended for either the very elderly or those who want to waste time calling incessantly, as they don't even answer. In the age of The Fork, TripAdvisor, and AI, this place is stuck in the 1980s and 1990s. Evolve.

28/10/2025: We ate both dinner and lunch. Lunch was a Sunday, during the Ottobrata festival, and I must truly compliment the management, the staff's kindness, and their ability to listen, which isn't easy during events like the Ottobrata, which involve dealing with so many people. Excellent food. I'd also like to point out that they also prepare gluten-free dishes, including pizza, pasta, and desserts. A special thanks goes to Mr. Michele for his patience and empathy.

12/10/2025: Nothing special, but the rooms could use some updating. The reception desk is nice and colorful, the staff is young but helpful, and the breakfast is adequate. Thanks to the guy who helped us with our large luggage on a rainy day.

14/10/2025: 1st Review: One of the best pizzas in Catania, we'll be back. 2nd Review: DOWN WITH THE TWO STARS, not because the pizza is good, on the contrary! Simply because once we arrived, they sat us down, the waiter asked if we wanted water and brought this bottle with a familiar water purifier logo. At first, we didn't say anything, thinking it was free. I tasted it and had a stomach ache (my problem, I can't drink purified water), so I ordered bottled water. The cream water arrived in a glass, and I could finally quench my thirst. But the surprise came with the bill, when we saw on the receipt that both bottles (the purified tap water) and the cream water (in glass) were the same price. Also, I don't want to question the fact that it was truly purified, but who's to say it's simply bottled tap water? I'm not saying it should be free, since it's literally TAP WATER, but at least it's cheaper than the glass bottled kind. Ladies and gentlemen, we spent €5 on water. With €5, I can buy at least three cartons of water, not to mention how much water I could get at the HOUSE OF WATER. Some may think it's a small thing, but for me, it's a cause of customer loss.

24/09/2025: I went to this place for a birthday party. The appetizers and sfiloncione were good. The place is spacious and new. Kudos to them for managing gluten-free options so that no one has to miss out on a special evening together.

13/10/2025: A charming and welcoming place, with a distinctly rustic style, and parking adjacent to the building. The staff was friendly and professional, despite the fact that they were all young. The pizzas were excellent, truly delicious, from the dough to the ingredients, all top-quality and in generous quantities. Furthermore, a very welcome feature, the prices are moderately low, compared to many other places where you pay more for worse food. In short, it's definitely worth a try; you won't regret it. Follow your navigation and don't be put off by the small road you'll have to take to reach the restaurant; just pass it and you'll find the restaurant's private parking lot on the right. A+++

A welcoming, rustic location, suitable for all ages. Friendly staff, especially the waitress: kind and helpful :) Highly recommended! A true, simple, and delicious village pizza, just like it used to be. 🙌

23/09/2025: We enjoyed the many selections available on the menu. Our pizza was wonderful and so delicious. The waitress was helpful and patient ( we don't speak Italian). The bruschetta was amazing and a fantastic price. There were several other diners here, and that's always a very good sign. My wife enjoyed her fresh fried shrimp and calamari very much. We Recommend this restaurant!

01/05/2025: Non fatevi ingannare dall'aspetto da "trappola da turisti" con le immagini dei piatti e le pubblicità. Questa piccola cucina, con pochi, ma semplici piatti accompagnati da un'estrema professionalità nella gestione dell'ospite, vi regalerà il piacere di panelle e arancin* artigianali. Non vi lasciate sfuggire il sorbetto di fico d'india: meriterebbe di tornarci solo per questo!

27/09/2025: The Gnocchi and stuffed sea bass were no less than perfect. Host was very kind, we came with a baby and he asked if they have anything for kids and he asked us what do you want us to make for her and we will do, which was impressive and kind.

22/05/2025: The best! I went to Gelsonero in Catania because I had been to the one in Savoca this summer and I fell in love with it! I must say that this place is also taken care of in the smallest details! Delicate, exquisite and well-presented food. Discreet and always prompt service. I absolutely recommend it!

06/09/2025: We could have had a great evening! The setting is pleasant with a sea view, and the tables are well-arranged on a comfortable terrace. The service? We felt like we were intruding from the aperitif to dessert. So, the language barrier, fine. But not a word during the entire meal. Not a smile; we felt uncomfortable. It's a shame. We won't be going back, despite the meal being quite good.
