22/02/2026: I hadn't been there in years, but it's still a firm favourite for the food, the friendliness, and the reasonable prices. I took friends there and they were very satisfied. The dishes are generous and delicious. The pork shank is highly recommended and one of the best dishes in my opinion.

28/02/2026: The starters were good, but we ordered a first course which, although we had been warned that the pasta format had changed, the octopus ragù was water, the pasta was also broken (for 18 euros you need to be careful)... I feel sorry for the guys but the rating is for the food.

17/03/2026: I've been to this restaurant a few times and have never been disappointed! I once tried a pizza with creamed purple cabbage. The combination of ingredients is perfect for me, with a balance of flavors and textures in the pizzas I've tried so far. The crispelle are a nice novelty for me, as I'm not from the area, and one leads to another, especially the anchovy ones. I also appreciated the speed and attentiveness of the staff. I hadn't reserved a table one evening, so my partner and I sat at the first available table. Since it was a bit drafty, one waiter in particular made sure to move me because he noticed I was cold. 05/03/2026: Worst pizzas in Italy. A disgrace. The pizzas were awful, tasteless. When I went to pay, one of the waiters gave me a bill without change, and when I went to ask for my money back, they said I'd left it for a tip, which wasn't true (I hadn't eaten well, so I wasn't going to leave anything). Definitely avoid this place. There are much better restaurants nearby, so don't waste your money.

05/03/2026: March 4, 2026 +Very good food and a pleasant atmosphere. We were very surprised by the good wine and the excellent appetizer. -Unfortunately, one member of staff ruined the experience. He was friendly with me, smiling and making sure everything was alright, but he was unpleasant and behaved unprofessionally with my friend. Instead of placing the bill on the table in front of him, he passed it over his shoulder without saying a word. That's why he didn't receive a tip either.

09/01/2026: Terrible service. We were offered a verbal menu without any information about the prices. Trusting the service (after years of coming), we were literally shocked by the bill: €220 for appetizers (the diminutive is a must given the extremely modest portions), that is, 22 small plates of appetizers (I even doubt the actual number) for €10 each. Madness. Not even at the best seafood restaurants. Moral of the story: a bill of about €50 per person for 12 diners (including 3 children who only had a plate of penne with sauce each), of which €27 was just for the appetizer. Madness! Just as madness will be returning to this place. Don't get ripped off and ask for a menu with the relevant prices.

The quality of the ingredients used is exceptional: carefully crafted dishes, authentic flavors, and the freshest ingredients truly make the difference. We especially appreciated the clear explanation of how the New Year's Eve lunch would unfold, given that it was a special day and was organized differently than usual. This made everything more relaxing and enjoyable, without any surprises. The location is splendid, with meticulous attention to detail and equipped with every comfort, ideal for enjoying a meal in complete tranquility. You can sense great attention to both the ambiance and the well-being of the guests. As a customer, I fully understand the commitment and sacrifices of those who choose to work during the holidays, and for this reason, the service we received was even more appreciated. 12/12/2025: The food is excellent, the service is punctual and attentive. The atmosphere could use a bit of a makeover, but we'll gladly return. Just a small note: the chef should wear a uniform suitable for working in the kitchen that evening. It's a shame he didn't make a great impression. But I'll be back anyway.

23/02/2026: A classic, rustic yet welcoming restaurant. Excellent house appetizers, including spectacular mushroom and truffle risotto and Marsala scallops, among the best I've ever eaten. I also recommend the delicious tiramisu, which the owner makes herself, and she's very proud of it.

31/01/2026: I'll tell you about my experience. This evening I was near the pizzeria in question, after ordering my Margherita + arugula takeout (always delicious), and for this very reason I decided, for the first time after several home orders, to pick up my pizza in person. Once I arrived, however, I found a disaster... the delivery guy urinating in front of the door (I recognized him because he's the same guy who delivers pizzas to my house several times, with a rather gaudy machine), there were heart-rending screams inside the restaurant itself, but the most exciting thing came later... The moment I (pretending nothing had happened) asked to pick up my order, the person I believe to be the owner, to reach the box (located on a rather high shelf, rather inconvenient in my opinion), used the arugula containers, the same arugula he later used to top the pizzas. I've immortalized this exciting action in a photo that I'm attaching. Delicious! When I got home, I enjoyed the pizza more than usual, and it tasted the best I've ever had! Thank you ALWAYS.

22/02/2026: I've been to this pizzeria and was really satisfied! The pizza was excellent: light, well-leavened, and easy to digest, with fresh, quality ingredients. Another strong point is definitely the courtesy of the staff: kind, smiling, and always available, they made us feel welcomed from the first moment. The service was fast but unhurried, with just the right amount of customer service. The quality-price ratio is also excellent. I recommend this pizzeria to anyone looking for good food, a pleasant atmosphere, and impeccable service. I'll definitely be back!

01/01/2026: I ordered two simple focaccias; simple things show how little passion they put into their work. The focaccias were extremely dry; I had asked for them to be salted and crumbled before cooking, which was not done.

22/05/2025: The best! I went to Gelsonero in Catania because I had been to the one in Savoca this summer and I fell in love with it! I must say that this place is also taken care of in the smallest details! Delicate, exquisite and well-presented food. Discreet and always prompt service. I absolutely recommend it!
