06/08/2025: A true corner of paradise! The Kalaonda Resort was a wonderful discovery: an oasis of peace surrounded by greenery, just minutes from the splendid Arenella beaches (just a 7-minute drive). The setting is meticulously maintained: large green spaces, an impeccable pool, everything designed for tranquility and well-being. I'm particularly keen to write this review because I completely disagree with some of the negative reviews I've read about this place. Our experience was extremely positive in every way (from cleanliness to hospitality). Breakfast is one of the highlights: rich, varied, and plentiful, with sweet and savory options to please all tastes. The option of dining on-site is also convenient and appreciated: simple dishes, perfect for those who want to stay on site and fully enjoy relaxation. A special thanks goes to Corrado and all the staff: kind, helpful, always smiling, and attentive to every need. Special praise also goes to the ladies who take care of the room cleaning with professionalism, courtesy, and always with a smile. We will definitely be back, even in the years to come.

24/07/2025: Unjustifiable price Aside from the decent pizza, the rest was very questionable. I paid €6 for half a plate of fries, which I found ants in. Unpleasant location.

16/06/2025: In my opinion, the best pizza in the world! I've traveled a lot around the island. These days, I book flights to Sicily so I land in the evening and can eat at this pizzeria right afterward. The two brothers who run the pizzeria are very friendly!

02/08/2025: Absolutely avoid – disastrous experience We had a reservation for a group of 15 people at 8:45 pm at Alla Corte Di Bacco, but the evening turned into a nightmare. After more than 2 hours of waiting (the food arrived at 10:55 pm!), there was no goodwill, no apology. 🔹 Catastrophic organization: a single waitress overwhelmed by all the tables, late orders taken, mistakes in the dishes (incomplete or incorrect pizzas), and even a missing dish. 🔹 Questionable hygiene: dirty plates, glasses, and cutlery, greasy or poorly washed cutlery. The waitress's response: "We don't dry the cutlery and plates." Unacceptable. 🔹 Non-existent service: we had to get up to get drinks and some dishes from the counter ourselves. 🔹 Disrespectful management: When we tried to speak calmly with the manager, Antonella, she shied away responsibility by blaming the waitress and even insinuated that we were at fault. There was no professionalism, no listening skills, and a haughty attitude. In short, this restaurant is clearly not equipped to manage groups, or even guarantee basic service. They are clearly relying on the lack of alternatives in Valguarnera, which is regrettable. ⚠️ Disastrous service – Borderline hygiene – Poor welcome I strongly advise against it.

24/07/2025: Increíble experiencia en La Tabernetta!!!! Primero tengo que mencionar el lugar, frente al mar con barcos amarrados, el sol bajando sobre el horizonte.... De película. La atención impecable, dedicada de todo el personal y los dueños acercándose a ver si todo estaba perfecto. Gracias!!!!!! Y la comida exquisita, con productos regionales de excelencia.Excelente relación precio calidad, y una extensa carta de vinos y postres hacen de la cena una experiencia especial. Gracias a todos!!!! 04/08/2025: Rude staff. After we'd eaten, we asked to use the restroom. We were allowed to, but they began knocking insistently and forcefully, then accused us of being rude and told us we shouldn't have used the restroom.

15/06/2025: Me and my girlfriend (both British) came here the other day and it’s now our favorite spot in Agrigento, the food is both super affordable and surprisingly delicious, and the atmosphere is a perfect, cosy very family orientated environment for couples and families. We will most definitely be coming here again. (My girlfriend is gluten free, and they specially made her a gluten free version of the pizza she wanted) and do so for all guests.

22/04/2025: Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. La sera di Pasqua ci siamo presentati in 14 in un ristorante già pieno. Hanno saputo farci mangiare ricreando piatti semplici ma eccellenti con quello che era rimasto di fresco. Il personale affabile e molto professionale- una rarità oggi- ha fatto la differenza. Veramente un posto autentico ed accogliente. Da consigliare.

20/04/2025: Locale vista mare stile vintage. Cucina tradizionale pantesca. Menu essenziale e non sempre aggiornato. Prezzi nella media. Senza infamia e senza lode.

12/03/2025: We chose the restaurant based on the good reviews. Unfortunately, I can't understand it at all. The service was bored and disinterested, Sicilian specialties were basically out. A wet plate with wet packets of salt came to the table without comment with bread and half a bottle of oil. I would have liked to have ordered olives and a piece of peccorino cheese as the bread was fresh and delicious. The waiter didn't look at us, even though we and two others were the only guests. A simple insalata mista for €10 consisted of a flat dessert plate, also flatly filled. Then some iceberg lettuce and some radiccio. The main course, touristy calamari fritti, was OK, but overpriced for the quantity and simplicity. It's a shame, with more interest in the guest we could have overlooked such mistakes. And we would have liked to have left money for la dolce vita if it had been available!!

04/06/2025: Eravamo un gruppo molto numeroso e abbiamo ordinato l'opzione giropizza. Le pizze non avevano un bell'aspetto, l'impasto era duro e colloso, molto pesante. Antipasti fritti tutti surgelati, ovviamente. Molti di noi sono stati male, probabilmente per gli ingredienti scadenti o perché qualcosa era andato a male. Pessima esperienza, vergognosi.

17/05/2025: Vale la pena andare in questo locale specialmente per la pizza con il bordo ripieno, ottimo impasto e ben digeribile. I gusti sono un po' particolari, ma ci sono anche le pizze tradizionali. La location è carina ma il locale si trova un po' fuori dal centro. Prezzo giusto e servizio cordiale

15/08/2025: I've been going to Lido I Scivolo for about 2 years, I've used both the restaurant, mediocre food, and the bar, very slow service. However, I only went to I Scivolo for the lido. Today I wanted to spend the day of Ferragosto at the lido, days before I had booked a spot. I arrived around 10/10:30 in the assigned spot both my name and that of someone else had been entered. I asked for explanations, they told me that the mistake was mine and that I had added the other name. I said that it was impossible, I didn't know anyone with that name. I asked, since I had arrived early, that I had paid and that I was coming from Syracuse, to show me the spot, They replied that they would give me an umbrella outside the lido, to plant on the free beach. Unprofessional, arrogant and superficial. To be deleted.

15/06/2025: An experience to forget. During an end-of-year school dinner, the owner was apparently helpful but false and unclear. Initially, she made separate tables when it was clearly stated that the table was for 25. Once this was resolved, there was a problem with the air conditioning, so these poor 25 adults and children were hosted in a room without air conditioning. Finally, she kept the 6 kg ice cream cake in a poorly functioning freezer or fridge and served it completely melted. I understand that you may have difficulties, but you must be clear from the start. Sometimes a customer returns just because you have been honest with him. For me, choosing this place was a mistake!

15/06/2025: I never write negative reviews about places because I know how difficult this job is. It's the first time I'll do it because our experience in this place was unpleasant due to the attitude of the owner who told us "yes" to everything during the reservation and then "knew nothing" of our very simple requests (such as a single table for the teachers and the students, a case of celiac disease, the agreement on the price, the requests to turn on the air conditioning, at the end the ice cream cake completely melted even though they were asked several times to put it in the freezer). We chose this place for the final dinner of the class and we were wrong. Now I know that the phrase most used by the owner: "No problem" is a sign of serious problems. If you book there and hear: "No problem", it means that you will have many.

26/04/2025: Very kind and helpful staff! Super efficient takeaway service. Delicious pizzas, including the Mickey Mouse ones dedicated to children and the gluten-free one! Highly recommended!
