22/11/2025: On a November evening when practically everything in northern Gallura is closed, Pizzeria Caltinu in Palau is like a beacon for sailors at night! Very good food; the pizza dough surprised me with its lightness and flavor! The service is quick and friendly, and the bill was equally surprising. I've finally found a winter refuge where I can enjoy excellent pizza at lunchtime and in the evening! Congratulations, Caltinu 🤩

08/10/2025: There were 9 of us: 4 adults, 5 teenagers/children. The food was okay (depending on what you ordered, it was also good), and the atmosphere in the restaurant was okay. The service - well... One child only wanted to order a side salad or a portion of fries (which is available on the menu). The staff then got rude and demanded that we order a set menu. This was despite the fact that we hadn't "just" ordered pizza, but entire menus with appetizers and expensive wine. The restaurant should be more accommodating... With a "Servizio & Coperto" charge of €2.50 per cover, you're already paying for the service.

11/10/2025: Unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience here. We were excited about eating some seafood. The antipasto of cozze alla marinara was good. Then, we ordered 1 portion of fish ravioli to share. The dish lacked flavor entirely and the ravioli were definitely not fresh or cooked well. Not only that, they charged us for 2 portions when we asked for one. The grilled calamari was good.

04/09/2025: We stopped by chance after a day at the beach to try the famous grilled porceddu (pork suckling pig), since it was advertised on the sign! We stopped and asked the lady if it was possible, and she replied "by reservation only," pointing to the sign. We then pointed out that the sign, which misleadingly stated "reservations appreciated," didn't specify whether it was for reserving a table, etc. INVASED BY WASPS, they brought us a cauldron of wasp-proof coffee, but by then the wasps were eating even that! Anyway, we opted for the mixed grill, plated sausage, and pizzas. Almost nothing was edible... the bill came to 93 euros, including 10 euros for a cover charge... as if they were Excelsior tablecloths. The worst possible experience.

30/08/2025: A quaint spot, outdoors with a canopy. The meat kitchen is open to the public, while the pizza and appetizer kitchen is indoors, but always visible. There's zero risk of contamination for celiacs (if you eat meat). They also have packaged gluten-free bread (good). Helpful and friendly staff. The suckling pig is delicious; best to reserve by phone. Recommended!!

22/04/2026: The pizza was eaten on the spot, the capriciosa was dripping wet; someone probably didn't even bother to drain the artichokes. The three staff members sat behind the bar, each watching different TikTok videos, so the mood was unbearable, making you go crazy. The pizza place doesn't have a restroom, and you can't even wash your hands before eating. Taking pictures of the menu is prohibited, probably because the prices stopped being low a long time ago. If you want good pizza in Olbia, there are many pizzerias in the city center, and at better prices. Pizza prices here range from 10-16 PLN, displayed on cardboard boxes with wooden cutlery.

14/04/2026: I paid 9.50 for a sandwich with a bottle of water. I think it's too high. I don't recommend it at all.
