Al Ciclope

13/06/2026: Before the ferry to Civitavecchia, I was looking for a non-touristy pizza by the slice. A Sardinian blog mentioned Al Ciclope pizza, and we tried it:
- Quick and friendly.
- The place is small but has shelves and a few stools; outside, there are plastic tables and chairs.
- Only one type of pizza: Margherita! And that's it! You heard right: pizza sold by the slice, each for €1.80.
Only Margherita, with a black olive on each slice.
Good, hot, crispy, worth a try.

04/05/2026: This is the best pizza we've ever eaten. We found the place by chance and were lucky to get a table because it's so popular. And rightly so! The pizzas are huge and delicious. The service was very friendly. We drove home happy and stuffed. Highly recommended.

14/06/2026: I asked for a capricciosa... A SIMPLE CAPRICCIOSA... without anchovies and guess what? There were anchovies among the mushrooms... do we want to talk about that? Plus, we're artichoke country and I have to find artichokes from a jar or frozen... sour aftertaste... but what does it take to cut a fresh artichoke? A degree? If it had been cheap? NO! Expensive pizza... undeserved price... Neapolitan? WHEN EVER... absolutely not! Too bad... this is already the second time I've let myself be ripped off...

20/05/2026: My wife had gluten free Culurgiones, stuffed with cheese in a tomato sauce. Also came with gluten free sardinia bread. I can confirm she was very happy.
I had a traditional lasagne, also very nice.
Menu also had gluten free pizzas, and vegan alternatives.
Very attentive staff, enjoyed our visit.

15/05/2026: Amazing restaurant with a very warm atmosphere. The spaghetti was absolutely top level - one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in Sardinia. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Even though they didn’t speak much English, communication was still easy, funny and enjoyable. You can really feel the authentic Italian hospitality here. Definitely recommend this place if you are in the area!

21/11/2025: A very pleasant restaurant open year-round... (during the winter, open Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and only for pizzas).
Excellent pizzas and a great menu.
The restaurant has a very bright dining room and tables in the shaded garden. In high season, it's best to make a reservation given the quality of the food and the reasonable prices!
The beef in the tagliata di manzo is both delicious and tender (served with arugula purée and cheese shavings).
The pizzas are delicious and very generously topped. It's not uncommon to see customers queuing for takeaway pizzas.
The friendly and attentive staff ensures efficient service. A must-try!

I don't understand the low rating; it was recommended to us on our third night, and it was the best restaurant we had dinner at in Olbia. Plus, the atmosphere was lovely.
01/06/2026: We really enjoyed our dinner here. It was one of the few places in Olbia where we could get a good pizza 🍕 , which was a nice change since most restaurants seem to focus mainly on seafood. 🦞

The staff were very friendly. The decor is rather cold; it's a shame, we'd feel more at home if it were a bit warmer.
