18/08/2025: I've been to this place several times and I can say that everything they make or offer is excellent! The pizza is light and tasty, the appetizers are delicious, and the assassina is spectacular!! Nine times out of ten, it's always crowded, but despite this, the staff is super helpful, kind, and friendly. I highly recommend it.

27/07/2025: We had lunch here to celebrate an occasion and spend a day with family. The food was good, but I'm just disappointed that there were some omissions and mistakes on the menu. We asked for a different wine and asked to speak to the owner, but he never came to listen to our request or ask how things were going. We asked for a starter and another starter was prepared; without an apology or anything, they just continued serving it. In conclusion, when we went to settle the bill, we informed the owner of the mistake, who neither apologized nor said anything; on the contrary, he even made unpleasant jokes and made disrespectful remarks towards us. I will definitely not return.

08/03/2025: Mediocre, la mesa estaba sucia. No se ofreció sopa de miso. Pagué más de 300 kr para mí y mi hijo, ambos quedaron hambrientos. No puedo recomendar.

10/11/2024: Pizza buonissima. Ho preso una pizza con impasto classico, ma con piccola aggiunta si può prendere anche un impasto differente. Ci sono anche le scrocchiarelle, ma ovviamente il prezzo sale un po'.... Dispone di posti all'aperto per serate estive. Peccato che il locale interno non sia molto grande, e siccome sicuramente ci tornerò avrò cura di prenotare per tempo. Piacevole anche aver trovato una cameriera gentilissima! Prezzi nella norma. Consigliato.

08/08/2025: A terrifying experience. I don't usually leave reviews, much less negative ones, about restaurants I've had the pleasure of trying, but this time I'll make an exception. I'll start by saying that I'm celiac and recently visited this restaurant for the very first time, for a family celebration. The service seemed attentive to the gluten-free options; in fact, when I pressed her about whether the dessert I ordered was actually gluten-free, she jokingly replied, "Madam, I don't want to poison you!" Well, these could be my "famous last words," as a few hours later I experienced one of the most severe illnesses I've ever had, resulting in a sleepless night. Naturally, I couldn't definitively say whether the food served to me was gluten-contaminated, or simply the spoiled fish. And honestly, even in the latter case, the situation would still be serious. But that's not all: I left this restaurant with my bag completely ruined, as one of the waiters accidentally (I hope) spilled some sauce, from the plate of a stranger sitting at the table behind, onto my bag. There wasn't even an apology for this egregious act. Finally, the extremely high bill was unjustified by either the quality or the quantity of the meal (4 appetizers, 2 seafood portions, 4 first courses, 4 desserts, and 2 liqueurs: an astronomical bill). I'm sure I won't be returning.

08/08/2025: We were treated with great condescension. We hadn't booked, but they still assigned us a table near the cash register. The waiters were unfortunately improvised; without even a greeting, they asked us if we wanted still or sparkling water (as if we were obligated to order water). As soon as the water arrived, we immediately ordered two appetizers and two first courses. The gratinated mussels were unthinkable (mussels, breadcrumbs, and plenty of oil). The first courses, cavatelli and linguine with mussels and clams, were very bland, with too much oil. Overall, a negative experience.

19/07/2025: One of the best place to eat in Bari. We ate here 3 straight night, I definitely recommend pizza pesto, 4 cheese and margaritha.

16/07/2025: Don't try the carbonara it's only overcooked pasta with scrambled eggs and pepper. No meat no parseman nothing.

14/07/2025: I believe Bari is one of the best places in Italy for dining. This Osteria in particular offers excellent food. I ordered the Cavatelli ai frutti di mare (seafood skewers), and it was simply perfect. The pasta was perfect, the broth was incredibly flavorful, and everything was very fresh. The house wine is of very good quality. A bruschetta starter, the cavatelli primo, two glasses of wine, and a bottle of water came to 20 euros, which was very affordable considering the quality of everything. In short, I recommend it to anyone who has the opportunity.

14/08/2025: After six years of vacationing in Puglia, we've tried many pizzerias, but Pizza e Fichi is superior to all of them. In August, we only truly experience Puglia if we come to Polignano for a few days, and Pizza e Fichi is a must. It's amazing how Antonella, Paolo, and their family welcome us warmly year after year, making us feel like friends and not just tourists. The best advice for those coming to Polignano? Book two evenings at Pizza e Fichi because it's not just a pizzeria, but also a grill restaurant, and every dish they serve is a testament to quality and authenticity, and it's addictive! Don't forget to try the famous pizza with figs, prosciutto, burrata, and pistachios—my favorite. In love with Polignano, in love with Pizza e Fichi ❤️😋
