16/08/2026: We got our pizza some good 45 minutes after ordering. We noticed other customers (the restaurant's regulars, I suppose) received their food before us. If you are a foreigner, you might want to look elsewhere. The pizza--which we ended up taking at home and eating the next day (heated)--was good, though. My wife's Aperol was good, too. Decent prices. P. S. We came on a working day evening, not Saturday.

21/07/2026: The service was fast and truly delicious. I had cod, which I don't eat, and it was accompanied by a delicious broad bean puree and caramelized onion. Well done!

19/07/2026: At first glance, I was impressed by the size of the place and had very high expectations. Unfortunately, however, I was disappointed. There's nothing to complain about the food: it was truly excellent. I tried both the pizza and the sliced ​​steak with vegetables, and everything was delicious. The only negative is the children's play area. The inflatables are old and, above all, very dirty. The plastic toys are broken and, as a result, dangerous. Furthermore, there are no regulations establishing a maximum age or height for use of the toys, unlike most play areas. This isn't a criticism in and of itself, but a safety issue. My son is two and a half years old and found himself playing with 11-12-year-olds. I was forced to let him out every time for fear he might get bumped into and hurt himself. We arrived at 7:30 PM, had dinner, and left at 10:00 PM. Despite paying €7 for entry to the playground, my son only used it for an hour, both for dinner and because it was impossible to let him play peacefully. I'm sorry to leave a negative review, because the restaurant truly has great potential and the food is worth it. For this very reason, I recommend investing in the maintenance of the playground and introducing clear rules regarding the age and height of children who can use it. These measures alone would make the experience much more enjoyable and safe for all families.

You might think you can make Neapolitan pizza dough with life preservers. That's not the case.

As soon as we arrived, they seated us outside: a very elegant and modern location for those who want to enjoy high-quality food. The staff was very friendly and kind, accommodating our every request. The pizzas were delicious and, above all, generous with toppings, but thanks to the super-digestible dough, we didn't feel heavy at all. I highly recommend going there to enjoy so many delicacies. I'll be back soon!

26/07/2026: We wanted to come for a special fish supper for our last night in Italy so chose La Battigia as it had some good reviews. Sadly the evening was very disappointing.....rude, offhand, slow service especially from the lead waiter outside. He never smiled and literally plonked the food down , no grace. We waited a long time to have our order taken and then the starter arrived before we had got our wine and it wasn't particularly busy !! They served the fried calamari without any fresh lemon which I found odd.....🤔. The tuna steak wasn't properly seared and was chewy. We had FAR nicer fish suppers at other less prestigious restaurants on our Italian holiday. As we were leaving a smart young couple arrived in a big car, parked right outside the restaurant blocking a busy road, left their hazard lights on and then came and sat down for a meal .....seemed to us that this place was more about style than substance. Avoid ....and go to a more authentic, friendly restaurant.

18/05/2026: The restaurant offers plenty of parking inside, with a security guard. Tables are well-spaced, and orders are very quickly served. The appetizers and pizza are excellent, but the wait for service, perhaps unusually, is too long.

10/05/2026: Location, nothing to complain about, nice and spacious, service equally good. I'm considering the pizza, because there are other options. I've noticed that most of the reviews are about the restaurant. The toppings are excellent, but the dough definitely needs revising. It's very thin in the center, doubles in size and becomes chewy as it gets to the edge. The cooking was uneven. Was it a coincidence? I don't know. My advice? 'No,' as I can't give you an opinion on the restaurant, but for the pizza, it's definitely a no.
