17/10/2025: Had dinner at this characterful restaurant in mid Oct 2025. Staff very friendly, accomodating our poor Italian language skills. Wife and I shared a pizza (which they kindly cut in half for us and served on two plates and some yummy french fries on the side. We then shared a tiramisu. That was the only disappointment…just a bit nothing in our view. But it did not spoil a really enjoyable evening and am happy to recommend. Thank you to the staff there.

01/10/2025: We stumbled upon this truly fantastic place today. Just above Mattinata, a breathtaking view of the sea and olive groves (it's a shame about the rain, but the view was beautiful nonetheless). Lunch included an excellent plate of orecchiette allo scoglio (seafood orecchiette) and a homemade dessert made with almonds and lemon cream. Excellent. The welcome was extraordinary, the people were kind and cheerful. I highly recommend it.

25/09/2025: I highly recommend Scarpetta D'oro. This simply enchanting place offers a view of the beautiful Mattinata and its fantastic sea. The atmosphere excites and makes you enjoy lunch or dinner from the moment you arrive. Spacious yet intimate. I want to give a special compliment to the owner, who is very polite, kind, friendly, and above all professional. The food is a culinary adventure. We obviously had seafood for lunch. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the dishes were well-proportioned, allowing you to savor the true flavor of the sea. There was no wait. We were welcomed and pampered until the very end. I highly recommend this place. I will be back very soon and will definitely return many times.

10/10/2025: Definitely a negative review, as expected, given what happened. I booked a table for six well in advance for this evening at 9:00 PM. When we arrived, they couldn't find the reservation. I showed them the messages they'd replied to accepting the reservation, and a waiter politely took responsibility for the mistake, promising us we'd be in after a 30-minute wait. We waited until 10:10 PM, and I let them know we'd be leaving. After so much positive publicity, and having brought friends from Bari specifically for this, unfortunately, it turned out that way. I've already tried the food and it's delicious, so I'll be more than honest in my review. It's a shame because I really wanted to give everything 5 stars!

Meticulous attention to detail, both inside and out, with eye-catching decorations and an atmosphere that makes you feel like you're in another country. It's comfortable, welcoming, and truly enjoyable: their real strength, in my opinion, is the unique atmosphere they've created. Furthermore, the youthful music in the background created a lively and dynamic atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the evening. The food is excellent, but the octopus sandwich deserves a special mention: simply delicious, absolutely worth trying. A dish that alone is worth the visit!

07/09/2025: Last night my family and I went to eat at this place. We had four different pizzas, one of which was gluten-free. Everything was excellent...the gluten-free pizza dough was excellent...the staff were very friendly...the location was perfect...thanks for the evening, we had a great time.

Exceptionally personalized service from morning to night, a consistently inviting atmosphere, and the highest quality drinks and snacks every day. A remarkable selection of red wine is served with a generous plate of olives, nuts, and other snacks. In summer, the shade of the arcades provides cooling, while in winter, discreetly placed heaters warm the air. In short: a true haven, reliable, and unbeatable. And all at reasonable prices… our absolute recommendation!

13/10/2025: Very nice bar with a large selection of delicious wines. The staff was extremely friendly, and they offered a few snacks to go with the wine. Plus, the prices are absolutely reasonable. Highly recommended!

09/10/2025: The review is from a couple of months ago. I arrived there by chance and late in the evening, but the kindness and welcome from the staff at that moment was truly appreciated. The place is clean, tidy, and also suitable for groups. I only had a Margherita, but it was very good: good dough, good ingredients, and good cooking. I highly recommend it!

29/09/2025: An excellent pizzeria, both for the quality of the ingredients used and the deliciousness of the food. The pizzas are amazing, as are the fries and other appetizers. The desserts are also excellent. A special thanks to the staff and the owners, especially Nicola, who is always attentive to everyone's needs. An experience definitely worth repeating.

18/10/2025: Amazing food We came from Rome and tried the pizza, especially the special Quinto, which is a pizza with a zucchini base, speck, yellow datterini tomatoes and much more. A very beautiful location with walls made from ancient stone. They also serve very good gluten-free pizza.

14/10/2025: We had lunch last Sunday with my family, and to say we had a wonderful time is an understatement. From the appetizers to the first courses, to the fruit-based main courses, all the ingredients were top-quality. Superlative combinations of flavors, served hot and practically prepared to order. All my relatives have booked and are already planning to return. Go, go, go... enjoy!

03/10/2025: We saw a menu on Google, but when we arrived we were told there was no menu. We ordered dishes from a list offered to us by the owner of the place and received a very expensive and unreasonable bill, very disappointing.

02/10/2025: The owner was friendly and welcoming, but the experience left a bad taste. We ordered two pastas (mushroom and gorgonzola), a mixed salad, a very small beef fillet, and one espresso. The food was average, portions small, and the bill came to €75. Way overpriced for what you get. Feels authentic at first, but the pricing is not honest.
