22/08/2024: We ate in the other two pizzerias in Piazza San Nazzaro and the one in Capodichino airport several times, and everything was always excellent. For the first time we decide as a couple to go to Fratelli la Bufala in via Medina with the knowledge that we will certainly eat excellently. We enter and the place had no air conditioning, it was really hot inside (probably not working). As far as fried foods are concerned, the food is really bad and the breading is clearly defrosted and the Internal seasoning a little cold and not good... definitely not made the same day, but defrosted. (our Naples is famous for its excellent frying) Paccheri with buffalo ricotta and prawns, personally as a Neapolitan, I don't recommend them. The Nerano gnocchi, overcooked and really bad in taste as the Cook decided to add mint, ruining the taste, instead of the way the real recipe is, the Basil. The chips were very good, too bad What left us a little perplexed was a strange red oil present on the internal base of the container. Upon requesting this red color (which for us seemed to be spicy oil), the waiter, although very kind, was unable to give us a reliable and common sense explanation. I was really very disappointed and I certainly don't recommend this venue. This location in via Medina is probably good for tourists, not for Italians. 😉

09/08/2024: Room without air conditioning, it was dying from the heat. Medium-low pizzas. Service there was only 1 person who did everything. I don't recommend it

28/08/2024: AVOID THIS PLACE. THEY RIP YOU OFF. Food is ok and they put service charge on top which is not seen anywhere in rome. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

24/08/2024: The air conditioner didn’t work! (it was like 35 degrees) The food was without taste. The service was so bad.

30/06/2024: We called to order pizzas and were told to call back later as they didn't have time. Good pizza, thin and crunchy. It doesn't arrive at the scheduled time, but usually later (it's written on the site and in fact they often reserve the delay). We took 2 shovels + supplí and on the receipt they were all charged as "shovel". So be aware that if you want to get a two-flavored shovel you will have to consider the cost per "scoop" rather than the shovel.

22/07/2024: We went last Sunday, we took 2 veal loins full of fat and bone, the weight of the meat in total must have been 2 ounces with 4 potatoes, then 2 cut where we had to discard a lot because they were nervous, and weighed a lot less than the proposed 300 grams. 4 pieces of bread 6 euros, water in bottles, one paid for by Ferrarelle and the other in the bottle but not even a sign of Ferrarelle. My advice is to avoid this restaurant

01/09/2024: We were 18 people, 2 tables close together, it wasn't possible to have just one, I ask for a portion of grilled vegetables, they bring them to me uncooked and raw, let's not talk about the pizza being raw, I asked for a sandwich, it could have been passable. We paid a lot and didn't eat anything. .I don't recommend it.

30/08/2024: The place is very nice, clean and organised. Excellent service. The pizza is good and genuine even if I prefer either Neapolitan or Roman and not something in between. Sublime supplì and croquettes👍🏼

23/06/2024: If you want to really understand how a pizzeria works by cutting, take a piece of margherita and evaluate the dough. The lightness, the honeycombing, the crunchiness will tell you who you are dealing with. How processed the tomato is and what type of "mozzarella" is used will help you complete the picture. Primate was a pleasant discovery. Intolerance-proof maturation of the dough and good raw materials make this small pizzeria a true jewel of Capitoline pizza. Always crunchy and light, it accompanied me for an entire year during which, on a weekly basis, I tried them all. Courtesy, smile and always ready joke are the calling card of the young members. A great future awaits primate and the five stars are well deserved. I generally don't give compliments light-heartedly. Indeed, due to professional deformation I am very critical and prone to criticism, but this jewel of pizza by the slice has deserved all the compliments. More than ever...
