04/10/2025: I arrived in Rome and decided to scope out places to eat close to my hotel. The reviews for Cafe Washington were excellent but taste and service speak for itself. My first meal was a calzone; it was so tasty and the service was impeccable. I brought my daughter later that night for her first impression. Rayene was our waiter and took amazingly great care of us. His service was so attentive that we returned many times for a drink, quiet coffee, and many meals—but the entire staff is wonderful. Still, Rayene ensured we were always satisfied with the meals and was always available to add extras. I know you will be more than pleased to spend an evening here. You can take my word on that!

14/08/2025: The fried appetizers (zucchini flowers, baccalà, etc.) were very good with one exception: the supplì, which were obviously previously frozen as liquid squirted out when cut and next to tasteless. However, the Roman style pizzas were exceptionally good. The waiter was a bit scatter-brained (among other things, he never put in my order for two cold seafood appetizers) but overall, this is a restaurant I would recommend.

14/09/2025: After reading some positive reviews, I wanted to try their pizza: I expected better and was disappointed. The owner at the cash register is friendly, but kindness isn't enough in a pizzeria. They're much more organized for home deliveries, but the option to eat in is lacking.

19/10/2025: You can choose from three types of dough, all excellent and very digestible. The pizza is truly excellent, both in terms of toppings and cooking. The price is excellent, and the service is very friendly and polite. Unfortunately, I gave the ambiance 4 stars because it's small but cozy and original.

Two hours and not a pizza, and without even ordering an appetizer... ridiculous... non-existent service... they only offered takeout... don't run a restaurant if you can't get people to eat at their tables... After two bad experiences at your restaurant, I think we've finally said goodbye... I got up and paid for the water and beer... but you had the nerve to ask for service charge... crazy.

19/10/2025: Terrible experience. We ordered 3kg of pizza for an impromptu dinner with friends and children. Since they were staying almost 15 minutes away, we asked a friend to pick up the order after work. She, unaware of the amount of pizza, paid and took what the girl at the counter gave her. As soon as she arrived at our house, with only one box of pizza, we realized our mistake, called and asked for an explanation. The order was ready, but we didn't understand why the pizzeria hadn't delivered it. Okay, it can happen, it shouldn't, but it can. We asked them to at least keep it warm until we could get back to pick it up. When we got to the pizzeria, the staff was completely indifferent (they made a mistake, and we paid, drove to pick up an order we were supposed to have picked up, but instead?). Not even a hint of an apology (meanwhile, we've already got half the pizza we ordered at home and the other half still at the pizzeria!!!). Not even the slightest bit of interest in the customer, as if nothing had happened. The worst part, however, was that they didn't even do us the "kindness" of keeping the remaining box warm at the pizzeria. What more can we say? If you like cold pizza or a quick drive... then this pizzeria is for you. For us, it's a NEVER AGAIN, and it's not because of the gross mistake (for better or worse, that's understandable), but rather the total disinterest shown in the customer, which is definitely not the case.
