07/09/2025: Top pizzeria! Think twice about ordering a whole pizza. It was only years of practise and a deep desire not to look soft that got me through the whole thing. Lovely people, very popular with the locals which has to mean a lot here!
22/08/2025: I've been going to Pizzeria IZZI for 15 years now, and the pizza is always better! Nadia, the daughter of the legendary Agostino, is now in charge. Even though she's retired, she can't stay away from her beloved pizzeria! Alessandro, at the counter, is the new added value! Always kind and polite to everyone! The menu is varied, the dough is light, and the ingredients are quality! Highly recommended!

11/04/2026: I just went to this pizzeria al taglio, which also allows you to eat in. The pizza is very good, they also offer supplì, montanarini, and other fried foods, and they have a hot table for those who prefer first or second courses. For a simple meal, I have to say it's perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is perfect. We were a large group, and between fried foods, beers, Coke, water, and several pizza slices, we spent €10 per person. I recommend it.

08/03/2026: I'll never go back. I had 2 pinsas, nothing special, 1 inedible cheesecake. A bottle of beer cost €70 for two... a little too much for the type of place and especially for the non-existent service.

06/03/2026: Great for a quick snack, the pizza is exceptional. I ordered a slice with artichoke cream, ham, and cheese, which was mouth-watering. I also ordered a slice of red mushroom, which was also excellent, but unfortunately, it's no longer available at any other pizzeria.
I think I'll happily stop by again when I'm in the area.

We ordered bruschetta, but it was very dry and unpleasant.
The Margherita pizza with sausage had only a few pieces of sauce, and the dough tasted raw when chewed.
The spaghetti with clams was unbalanced: you could almost only taste the garlic, drowning out the other flavors.
The gnocchi were also not handmade and were rather bland, while the vegetables were completely bland.
12/04/2026: Tomato bruschetta with untoasted sandwich bread, pizza collossa, dry supplì... need I say more?... and the place was packed... meh!!

12/10/2025: Never again! Yesterday, a friend of mine and I ate an appetizer, two regular pizzas, a glass of wine, and a water, for a total of €51, so €25 each. I didn't want to cause a scene in front of the tables that were still in the restaurant, but I saw that the bill indicated a special pizza menu (I instead ordered a pizza that wasn't one of the special ones (called grottino; the special ones were, for example, cacio e pepe, amatriciana, etc.) and an extra appetizer. The pizza menu said the appetizer was included, but instead they charged us for it separately. Terrible treatment; that's why I gave it one star; we were very disappointed.

In short, keep walking; 20 meters past this restaurant you'll find a snack bar with pizzas and delicious snacks.
31/03/2026: We had just finished walking around the Vatican museums and we were very tired. It was around 4, we didn't want to walk much for food but didn't want to pay too much either. We saw some decent reviews and decided to take a seat. It's a great family restaurant, I loved the vibe of it, the restaurant had typical Italian decorations, some nice music would've suited the vibe but the food was GREAT. Everything about the food was amazing, the pasta sauce was great, the crust of the pizza thin and crispy how we like it and the toppings pretty nicely organised. The waiters weren't especially inviting, but they weren't rude. They looked as if they wanted to take a nap, they did take a while to clear our plates but other than that it was all good. The prices were affordable for the location and place we were at. We had also the Capresse salad which was great, a bit small for the price but was very tasty. There was 4 of us, we ordered 2 pizzas, 2 pastas, a salad, a 1l water bottle and a coke. Would come here again for a quick dinner.
