Excellent food, excellent service, and a very warm welcome. We had dinner with salad, pizza, and dessert. Everything was fresh and flavorful, which is rare. The service was attentive. The wine selection was excellent, offering a range of high quality. This demonstrates a staff that is dedicated to pleasing its customers and knows its craft. Well done!

We celebrated our little Diana's baptism and everything was perfect! The restaurant was beautiful with a lake view, and the service and quality were excellent! Many restaurants lose their way when there are too many customers, but at Il Pozzo everything remains unchanged. All our guests were delighted. A special thanks to Alessandra, always available and kind.

We discovered this restaurant through Facebook. We went for Easter lunch and were very pleased. We chose one meat menu and one fish menu. The two appetizers were good and varied; the artichoke lasagna was truly excellent. The seafood calamarata was a bit disappointing, though tasty, but lacking in fish. The main courses were good, especially the prawns and breaded lamb. The pastiera was excellent. The restaurant is spacious but a bit anonymous and could use a few more touches. Excellent service and friendly waiters.
We recommend this place if you're passing through Castel Gandolfo.

I'd like to describe my experience at Il Pozzo without sounding too sappy, but that's impossible. I contacted this restaurant based on reviews and photos because I needed a beautiful location with good food to celebrate my daughter's graduation. I can say that Alessandra, the owner, was incredibly kind and, above all, meticulous. She paid attention to every detail, from the room layout to the food, and finally to the beautiful and delicious cake. We promised ourselves we'd return to try many other dishes we'd seen in photos and reviews, which were truly inviting. I recommend this place for the food, wine, and breathtaking location.
