31/08/2025: I've been to this restaurant several times and am always satisfied. Besides the excellent food and truly affordable prices, what I appreciate most is the kindness and customer service, especially from the mustachioed waiter. His friendliness is contagious, he's very knowledgeable in explaining the dishes, and he constantly strives to accommodate customers' requests. My favorite dishes are the ricotta tortelloni with butter and sage and the tagliata accompanied by delicious fried zucchini 😋. I will definitely be back again and highly recommend it!

27/08/2025: It's been a while since we've been here, so we decided to return, but unfortunately, we were sorely disappointed. The food has deteriorated in quality compared to years ago. The pizza used to be very good, but now it's mediocre. The restaurant menu isn't as varied as it once was, and it's not very good. The service is basic but inattentive to the customer. We paid €5 for a portion of fries that never arrived. In our opinion, the quality/price ratio isn't competitive at all. It's a shame.

25/08/2025: The place may be nice, but the rest isn't so much. One of us gets bruschetta, and then a pizza. After the second bruschetta, the pizza arrives... wait, right? For the other diner's grilled food, we have an eternity of waiting. When the meat arrives, it's overcooked... no big deal. Minute after minute, clearing the tables, and no one is in sight. At this point, we go to the counter for coffee, since no one is in sight. After the coffee, we pay, a price of 78 euros, which is too much for the quality of what we ate, and one of us asks for a bitter liqueur. Now, even in more refined restaurants, they offer bitter liqueurs for the price we paid. Here, they charge us 4 euros. Not very helpful. We won't return, and we don't recommend it.

19/08/2025: Today, the first Sunday of August, we had lunch at Maranz it was packed with customers. We ordered 1 Spaghetti with Clams, 1 Scialatiello with Seafood, water, wine, a white pizza. Everything was excellent, and to finish off with a flourish lemon and melon sorbet on the house. The location will be closed for HOLIDAYS from Monday, August 4th and will reopen in September, we were informed at the checkout. 🌹Happy 👍Holidays🌹

11/08/2025: A bit of a shame, Google says it's open from 7:00 PM. We pulled off the highway specifically to eat pizza at our favorite restaurant in Castel San Pietro. Turns out they're on Ferie until August 30th. Too bad, we also wanted to buy two bottles of limoncello from them... Advice: adjust the opening hours when you're on vacation...

06/09/2025: Update: Management has changed again, and this time the pizza was good again. Until a few months ago, they made delicious pizzas, and I went there on average once a week. Then the management changed, and I only went once. I didn't like the pizza, and I never went back.

06/09/2025: This pizzeria and restaurant is located near the center of Castel Guelfo and is easily accessible, with parking available nearby. The staff is very friendly, and the prices are moderate to low. The food quality is average.

06/09/2025: I was pleasantly surprised by the place. I was expecting something anonymous given the location. The pizza was good. I ordered an ortolana, and being a vegetarian, I'm quite critical of the vegetables; it could be improved.

31/08/2025: We stopped by Bologna and decided to try this pizzeria. The place is clean and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the pizzas weren't entirely convincing: the dough was a bit undercooked, which ruined the experience. It's a shame, because the promise was good. We hope it was just an isolated incident.

18/08/2025: Excellent, easy-to-digest wood-fired pizza made with quality ingredients. I'm diabetic, and this vegetable pizza doesn't cause any glycemic spikes. The pizza chef is kind and friendly. I haven't tried the takeout service because I pick it up myself. Daniela Artioli Bellini

16/09/2025: Terrible, I ordered a portion of fried calamari and a glass of white wine. After a while, another waiter arrives and I also ask for water, which doesn't arrive at all. (I put it on the bill.) I started eating the calamari and found hair, so of course I won't eat anymore. I wait, but no one comes... finally, I ask to pay and show them the hair. The waiter apologizes, and then finally the bill arrives, charging me 20 euros, saying they gave me a discount. (He said the calamari cost 23, but on the mixed fried menu it was 21.) They shouldn't have charged me for the calamari because I didn't eat it. Terrible, I won't be back.

21/08/2025: The gluten-free pizza was delicious, with a truly excellent and easily digestible dough. I had the vegan version, and it had some original and tasty combinations! Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back.
