26/04/2026: I ordered two takeaway pizzas. I was advised to keep them undercooked. They turned out dry and undercooked, practically inedible. They were bitter on the palate (disappointment). Never again.

25/03/2026: I tried the pizza with Sollima wheat. The waitress was right, in that their pizza is already very digestible, but with Sollima wheat, it's very, very good for those who are starting to struggle to digest everything like they did when they were young. The arancini were excellent.

28/04/2026: French people in Bologna. Very good pizzas. Very friendly service. Unbeatable value for money. Pizzas between €7 and €9. We recommend it.

15/04/2026: A lovely older gentleman greets everyone with a beautiful smile. I wish I'd known about this place when I lived in Bologna. I'll definitely be back!! I ordered a calzone and got it sliced, which was very good because it was easy to eat.

18/03/2026: I had the Neapolitan pizza, which was delicious (so good I forgot to take a picture 😅). The tiramisu was very average; you can find better ones nearby. The restaurant might attract seafood lovers; there's an extensive menu, and they even (I think) have live fish on site, but that's not a confirmation. The staff is friendly if they approach you, although they have to approach you, and that's a mixed bag 😅. Overall, I recommend it.

03/04/2026: The quality of the fish and the professionalism of the wait staff are always a given. The atmosphere is a bit old-fashioned, and perhaps a few things could use a makeover, like the lighting. It remains a staple of fine dining in Bologna.

03/04/2026: Excellent pizza at a reasonable price, expensive wine with no option to order it by the carafe. The service was very good. However, the lighting needs improvement (the neon and LED lights on the ceiling make the room feel like a post-interrogation room)!! We'll be back to see the changes!

12/03/2026: A terrible experience from every perspective. During my visit to the restaurant, I parked my car in their parking lot, thinking it was a safe place for customers. Upon returning, I found an absurd situation: a broken taillight, a completely scratched bumper, and a bent tailgate. After asking for clarification, I discovered that the staff uses a cart in the parking lot to transport the restaurant's firewood, and it was most likely that which caused the damage to my car. We're talking about approximately €300 in damage. The worst thing isn't just the damage itself, but the complete lack of attention to customers' cars and the superficial handling of heavy equipment in an area where people park. If you can't manage your parking lot without damaging cars, perhaps you should seriously rethink your work organization. A truly negative experience and a huge disappointment.

14/03/2026: We tried the restaurant for lunch. The tagliatelle and tagliata were excellent. The semifreddo was worth trying. It should be chosen just for Merlino's courtesy and friendliness. I'll be back.

13/03/2026: A true classic for Castel d'Aiano. The hotel is affordable but clean and more than decent. The restaurant is phenomenal. It's just a shame that almost nothing remains in Castel d'Aiano, so it's recommended for everyone, but only for short stays or longer stays for older people who want to escape the summer heat of the city during the warmest months.

02/02/2026: I went here with a group of friends for a birthday on January 31, 2026. The place is welcoming and very spacious, the interior is beautiful and well-decorated. The service was very good and the waiters were really courteous. The table service was fast! Both the appetizers and main courses were good. 5 stars, well-deserved.

19/01/2026: Excellent pizza, I recommend it if you want a good pizza (the Cipolla & Co is tops). Prices have gone up quite a bit since last time, but the quality of the ingredients has improved significantly. Cover charge is €2.50, a bit high considering it comes with paper placemats, a napkin, and cutlery.

02/05/2026: We celebrated a baptism at this restaurant. The place is very beautiful, especially the windows that let in constant light. The service wasn't great because some requests and arrangements weren't met, such as having two glasses—one for water and one for wine. At times, the dishes were served in a disorganized manner; while we still had our appetizers, they brought the first course sperlonga without even taking the previous dish away. Some dishes served in the second course, such as grilled vegetables, were only served to a few people, forgetting about the others and wanting to bring them after the second course. Be careful of intolerances; ask several times because they apparently don't pay much attention. The appetizers were good, the first courses were nothing special, and the meat was very good and tender.
