04/12/2025: This rustic restaurant in the center of Bologna offers excellent value. If you're passing through on a Sunday lunchtime, as it's between Porta Saragozza and the city center, it's a great option if you're arriving from the parking lot beyond the gate. You can often find a table even without a reservation, as it's not right in the city center. The menu is extensive and the service is fairly quick. The portions are generous and the prices are more than fair considering the location close to the city center.

03/12/2025: I've been going here for 20 years and have always had a good experience. The prices are average, the fish is good, but the lunchtime food is also good, with different dishes every day. The pizza, served as a sandwich, is always excellent.

08/12/2025: I'm happy to return to Le Arcate. The smile and kindness welcome you as soon as you open the door. We ordered mixed appetizers, first courses, and second courses. Among the appetizers, varied and flavorful, there was no shortage of tigelle. The traditional Bolognese first courses, with tortellini and tagliatelle, tickled the palate. The second courses were less impressive. The cotoletta alla Bolognese was delicious, but the tagliata... spectacular. Congratulations to everyone. I've marked this place in my diary with the note: 'A must-visit every time I'm in Bologna!'

01/12/2025: On a Saturday night, I thought I was eating a good Neapolitan pizza, but it only looked Neapolitan. The atmosphere was very chaotic, not recommended for a quiet dinner, but despite this, the service was efficient. The pizza was inedible, with quality ingredients but a very chewy and tough dough (especially the crust, which I had to leave there). Go there, but not on the weekend and not for pizza.

28/10/2025: Excellent value for money. The pizza is typically thin-crust, and I really like it. Good availability. Friendly, fast service. Reservations are not accepted for groups of less than 4 people, so you'll always find a place to eat if you wait a reasonable amount of time.

03/12/2025: Pozza is truly delicious! The dough is soft and easy to digest. Excellent selection of flavors on the menu, as well as a few off-menu options. Fast service and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good value for money.

30/11/2025: Since it's important to me, I should point out that it's expensive... (For example: a cover charge is €3, 1L of still water is €2.50, a plate of baked potatoes that we ordered to nibble on, and still meager, was €5...). Well, it must be said that the pizzas, and their flavors and the final result, are all in all good and well-made, but definitely a bit pricey for that price. Meanwhile, the desserts (which are the ones that scare you a little when you see the price) are definitely the restaurant's strong point: small, well-made dishes, very tasty, and very rich, almost giving the impression of being in a super restaurant! Otherwise, it's a somewhat "overpriced" restaurant, but it has great potential for the future.

25/10/2025: I had dinner with some friends. We had the giant sausage and broccoli rabe pizza with provolone cheese and the giant prosciutto pizza with arugula and shaved prosciutto... Really good. Then we had some tasty treats like chips and potato croquettes. And finally, the highlight of the evening, an excellent lemon delight straight from the Amalfi Coast. What more could you ask for? An excellent limoncello. See you next time 😚

24/09/2025: Good and plentiful food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. This was my first and only time there (at a time when it was still sparsely crowded). When I return in the future, I'll give it a 5-star rating if the experience is as good as the first. Update: The second time was also very good, so I'm adding a 5-star rating.

23/11/2025: We returned to this restaurant after having been there once and having had a really good meal. Unfortunately, this time it was a terrible experience. There were nine of us, and it took 40 minutes to take our orders. After an hour of being there, the appetizers arrived (we had ordered two different appetizers). The first course arrived, and then the pizzas arrived immediately. Shortly after, the second course of appetizers arrived. There were seven pizzas, and they were all raw. For those who had ordered a second course, the meat arrived 30 minutes after the pizzas, and everything was cold. We reported this to the owner, who was very understanding and professional. Unfortunately, the situation was negative, but I hope to return and enjoy the experience as much as the first time.

01/11/2025: Fantastic experience. We were very impressed with the quality of both the meat and fish dishes. The service was impeccable, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. The atmosphere was welcoming.

16/10/2025: It was fantastic, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The pizza was delicious, and the waiter immediately understood that we wanted one dessert with two spoons. We even got limoncello as a bonus. Highly recommended, we would definitely go back.
