11/07/2026: Dinner with friends. In July, they recommended the air-conditioned room inside. The room was packed. The pizza was delicious, but it was a shame we couldn't finish it because it was so hot, and we couldn't wait to leave. We asked to move twice because we were so sweaty, but it was no use. Our table in the back corner was a furnace. He recommended changing the knives, and I lost patience trying to cut the pizza... it just stayed there.
13/06/2026: We hadn't booked, but there were no problems. The room is large and welcoming. Very unique, with an exhibition of old sewing machines and tables of various sizes, set on antique Singer iron bases. Beautiful!
We ate really well!!!

29/05/2026: We waited almost 50 minutes for a pizza and a calzone, a truly exorbitant amount of time. When it finally arrived, the pizza was soggy and not at all good. We had ordered a buffalo mozzarella, but were served a plain Margherita, even though we had paid the price for the buffalo mozzarella.
After dinner, I even had a stomachache. Furthermore, when we asked for an explanation for the delay, the staff offered lame excuses instead of admitting their mistake. A terrible experience.
29/05/2026: Terrible experience. We waited almost 50 minutes for a calzone and a pizza, an absurd amount of time considering the place wasn't even that busy. The pizza arrived soggy and tasteless. We had ordered a buffalo mozzarella, paying for it as such, but they brought us a plain Margherita, and the buffalo mozzarella wasn't even visible.
After eating, I even had a stomach ache. The most annoying thing was that, when we complained about the delay, instead of apologizing, they started giving clearly false explanations. The service and quality were truly disappointing.

28/02/2026: Excellent Neapolitan-style pizza. I had a pizza with anchovies, just the way I like them. The ingredients were good, and the cooking was perfect. The service was prompt and fast despite the crowds. Given the particularly warm evening, which was Bologna's Europa League match, the place was packed, and the atmosphere was great. We'll definitely be back to try some of the dishes.
31/01/2026: The pizza dough is excellent! Prices are very competitive compared to the Bologna average! The service is also good.

28/03/2026: I tried the pizzas, both Margherita and Salciccia, and found them excellent and filling. They didn't leave you feeling empty. As for the pizza, besides Margherita, I was able to try various types, from the traditional Apulian to the new generation, and they were both delicious and filling. The crust is thin, and you can taste the house signature. 4/5 Stars... P.S.: Kindness is also a hallmark of San Matteo della Decima.

06/07/2026: It feels like being at the beach; the summer expanse is truly pleasant and spacious. The wood-fired pizza is delicious, authentic, and well-seasoned. The service is very friendly and welcoming. A little gem in a working-class neighborhood that makes everything very picturesque.

05/12/2025: Neapolitan-style pizza, but for me it was too chewy, even when hot. Maybe it was undercooked.
I remembered it better, but despite everything, I digested it well.
30/11/2025: It's a shame that the dish isn't edible, but I've only eaten pizza like they do in Naples. I've only eaten a few. Compliments to the pizza chefs, who have the logo of the true pizza chefs, which is a symbol of quality and experience, and to the lady who is always very kind. I highly recommend it, truly from the heart.

04/08/2026: A very bad experience. We had to eat there because it was part of our package, as we were traveling with CAM (a Spanish travel insurance company). The presentation, quality, and quantity were poor. The service was terrible. A real shame.
IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE DISAPPOINTED, STAY AWAY.
THE GUIDE IS ALSO VERY MUCH TO BLAME FOR ALLOWING THIS TO HAPPEN.
30/07/2026: What can I say... Hot water, hot Coke to start off well, then for the second course, two burnt steaks arrive, as pictured. We ask for an exchange, and they bring them raw. We send them back again, and they give them back raw. We send them back for the umpteenth time, and we even get a grumpy face.
The food used to be good, but not now!
