17/05/2026: 1 star only because 0 can't be given. The service, wait, and food were embarrassing. 3 pizzas arrived after 2 hours. The waitress with short hair was incredibly rude. We pointed out the long wait to the waitress, who arrogantly started off with, "Next time, come half an hour earlier." We were far too polite not to leave early! NEVER AGAIN. AVOID THE PLACE.

29/05/2026: We've been for dinner twice in a row, sampling the entire menu—fish, meat, and pizza—and it's all excellent. There were 12 of us, motorcycle friends, staying at the hotel of the same name (under the same ownership). The wine list is interesting, with fair markups. Anyone can create excellent dining, but the art of hospitality isn't for everyone. Angelo, the chef and owner, is a friendly, professional, and generous person. We'll definitely return.

10/05/2026: The food was excellent, but the service left much to be desired. Some appetizers arrived after the main course, and the dishes were served unevenly, so one person was still eating when everyone else had finished. On the positive side, the artistic presentation of the plates was a highlight, showcasing the chef's creativity. The portions were small but tasty. However, they weren't always worth the price. The timing of the dishes, in particular, needs improvement. It's unacceptable that a simple salad took longer than a freshly prepared risotto.

04/06/2026: I hadn't been to Casalvelino for 15 years. I asked some people who were passing by on the seafront, and they recommended dinner at Camillo's. I arrived at the restaurant with my husband and 1-year-old son. I asked where I could change the baby and was told there was no changing table and no changing table. We sat down and decided to have a quick dinner and go straight home. A table outside, a breeze, and a ceiling fan. I asked to move inside, but they told me it wasn't possible. I asked them to turn off the fan because it was too windy for the baby. They wouldn't turn it off, and they wouldn't move us. We ordered spaghetti with clams on paper. Spaghetti with lupini beans arrived, and pan-fried gnocchi with raw sauce and not even a drizzle of mozzarella. Terrible. A quarter of wine, water, and two coffees. I go to pay and the lady tells me it's 57 euros. I roll my eyes and tell her what we consumed, and she apologizes because she hadn't cleared the previous bill, totaling 37 euros. I pay and we run away. Never again.

Finally, the delicious desserts make every lunch or dinner a complete and unforgettable experience. Beyond the excellent cuisine, what makes this place special is the family atmosphere and the extraordinary hospitality of the owners. Giacomo and his wife, Raffaele, and all the family members who work in the business are wonderful people: always smiling, kind, helpful, and attentive to every customer need. 01/06/2026: Drawn by a beautiful location, we arrived full of expectations, which were immediately dashed upon reading the menu. The grilled cuttlefish we ordered was lost on the large serving platter, along with a salad leaf from a bygone era. Hunger got the better of us, even though the cuttlefish was extremely overcooked, sometimes even burnt. I mentioned this when asked, but the owner didn't apologize verbally, nor did she offer a rather hefty bill for the amount we'd consumed. A disappointment; we won't be returning.
