31/08/2025: We ordered pizzas last night on Just Eat, assuming it was Saturday and a wait is expected, but from the estimated delivery time of 10:20 PM, then again at 11:15 PM, the pizzas arrived well past midnight. Two phone calls were made to the pizzeria during the wait, and from the usual "10 minutes the pizzas are in the oven" to another 25 minutes, the second call to inquire about the delivery ended rudely. Regarding the food: the fried foods were cold, and the pizzas in question, while not bad, were not exceptional either, definitely not the kind of pizza you'd expect to wait over two hours for. Obviously, the negative review was also given to Just Eat, because delays are never solely the fault of the restaurant's management.

25/06/2025: My family and I were visiting the area for a few days and ended up eating here a number of times because we enjoyed it so much. The food was excellent, and perfectly priced, and the staff were lovely. The owner is a wonderful man, who chatted with us and shared stories from his life (e giardino!) while we waited - andrea your grappa and melanzane were buonissimo! Highly recommend this place, well definitely be back when we’re in the area. A presto, e grazie mille!

02/10/2025: A perfect dinner in Maiori! This family-run restaurant was recommended to us by our friend Nino, a grocer running a deli down the street. Perfect, home-made pasta & fresh seafood! And, of course, tiramisu to finish it off!! We loved Mario e Maria & we will be back!

28/09/2025: For the "nightmare kitchen" series: everything was overcooked and oversalted. Despite the admittedly expensive price, everything was frozen and cooked terribly. I don't think I've ever eaten so badly in my life. We left everything on our plates, but no one asked us why or even came to ask if we'd enjoyed the (expensive) meal. I feel sorry for the poor tourists passing through who continue to stop there to eat, unaware of their culinary suicide. What's certain is that we'll never return.

24/08/2025: I'm a bit disappointed with this hotel. While it's not terrible, it didn't meet my expectations, and the experience was mixed. Let's start with the positives: the reception hall and other common areas are very well-maintained, clean, and elegant. The outdoor spaces are impressive, with decorative mosaics, a spacious veranda, and a splendid view of the sea. The location is excellent: Vietri is easily reached on foot in just a few minutes. In fact, the hotel is located right on the border between Vietri and Salerno. Unfortunately, the quality begins to decline when you get to the rooms. For a four-star hotel, they are quite dated—more like what you'd expect from a modest three-star hotel. It must be said, however, that the beds are comfortable and the soundproofing is excellent. Despite being near a very noisy nightclub, once the windows are closed, the noise is barely audible, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. The view from the balcony is also excellent, with a splendid view of Salerno, the port, and the coast. That said, the rooms are not at all "luxury" standard. An electric light fixture literally fell off, the bathroom was poorly maintained, and the shower doors didn't work properly. The flush button was loose, and even the air conditioning control was damaged. I've attached a photo of the air conditioning control just to give you an idea. A room can be dated if it's well-maintained, but leaving it in this condition, given the prices they charge, leaves the impression of neglect. Then there's the beach. It's nice to have an elevator down, the water clean, so far so good. But the prices? Simply outrageous. €3.50 for a can of Coke or Fanta is a rip-off. And the sun loungers at €40 per person per day? Three of us, two days: €240. An insane amount, practically the same as another hotel stay. Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of fresh fruit, pastries, cured meats, and more, served in an elegant room. The coffee, however, was average. The staff was mostly friendly and welcoming. At check-in, one person seemed rather cold (not rude, but not warm either), but the others, like the gentleman who escorted us to our rooms, were more lively. In summary, the hotel has beautiful common areas, a top location, and a fantastic view, but the rooms are dated and the prices are a bit high. Not a total disaster, but honestly, I expected much more.

24/08/2025: The hotel's location is excellent. The only exceptions are the view, the common areas, and the terrace. The rooms, however, are old and poorly maintained; the shower was even falling apart. Shower gel and other items are still made of plastic. Some of the air conditioning thermostat controls are broken, and the minibar is empty, with only one bottle of water. Excellent soundproofing. Breakfast is well-stocked with sweets, but not so much with savory options. A REALLY SORRY NOTE: THE PRICE OF THE BEACH CLUB, €40 PER PERSON PER DAY, IS WAY TOO OVERPRICED. Unfortunately, I only realized this when I got the bill. I thought the €40/day was for a front-row seat. NO, A MORTGAGE.

23/09/2025: Practically on the sea. Very convenient for relaxing without having to use your car. New rooms equipped with every comfort. The owner is extremely kind and available to accommodate any request. Highly recommended.

05/09/2025: We ate pasta and fish or had a slice of babba, very good place, nice and friendly, everything was excellent, the only flaw is that they don't make coffee, but nowadays they should get equipped

27/08/2025: Extremely friendly and helpful staff The food is good quality. We've been twice. The first time we had an 8-star pizza, and the second time we had different dishes, also 8-star. No complaints about the speed of service. The waiter was very friendly, and the owner was too.

01/09/2025: At Daniele's, the pizzas are always good, but the appetizers are exceptional. The cured meats and cheeses are top-quality, as are the vegetable appetizers. Then you can see if you have room for a first or second course. In the summer, you can eat outside or under a pergola. Inside, the place is a bit noisy. The service is very friendly and efficient. The price is fair for what you get. Always a guarantee.

24/05/2025: Sabato scorso, con amici, siamo stati da Mansi, zona Torrione. Mancavamo da prima della pandemia e già allora eravamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti. Abbiamo trovato il locale totalmente cambiato: bell'ambiente che farebbe pensare anche alla ristorazione, non solo alla pizza e "cose simili". Abbiamo ordinato due "Pinoli a Cetara", una Nerano d'inverno, una Amatrice e una Margherita. Pizze davvero buone. Impasto leggero e ottimi gli ingredienti usati. La "Pinoli a Cetara" è stata la "più votata". Ottima con il suo gusto deciso e delicato al tempo stesso. Prezzi alti, ma ormai è così quasi ovunque. Con l'Euro prima e tutti gli altri eventi successivi, ci hanno abituati a pagare 10-12€ (ma anche di più!) per una pizza (per quanto buona sia) come se fosse una cosa normale da sempre. La vecchia cara "Margherita", difficilmente scende sotto i 6-7€. Fanno vedere che ti offrono il prosecchino di benvenuto, ma te lo paghi con i 2,50€ di coperto a persona. Vabbè...ormai, si sa, le cose vanno così anche a Salerno. Un'ultima menzione per la "graffa semplice" finale: molto molto buona. Prossima volta proveremo quella con la Nutella.

15/10/2025: We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this BnB in Furore! The room was incredibly comfortable, and the views were simply breathtaking. The terraces were amazing — a perfect spot to relax, enjoy the sun, or just sit in the hammock and gaze out at the sea. The view from the restaurant and its terraces was equally stunning, making every meal a truly memorable experience. Dining at the restaurant was a real treat - flavorful, varied, and thoughtfully prepared, making us feel entirely at ease and at home. Breakfast was plentiful and perfectly suited to our tastes, giving us a great start to each day. The brothers who run the restaurant and the BnB were exceptionally friendly, always ready to provide helpful tips and valuable insights about the area, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we felt very well taken care of and are extremely satisfied with the entire experience. Everything at L’Incanto - from the rooms, terraces, views to the food and service is carefully curated to create a perfect, relaxing, and unforgettable stay. We couldn’t recommend it more!

10/09/2025: The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The service is unparalleled and because of this I came for dinner back to back and it felt like I was being taken care of by friends. Excellent recommendations. Menu highlights seafood pasta which varies on the day, good for trying something new. Pizza and traditional pastas are served also. Save room for the lemon cake and espresso

02/05/2025: I ordered two pizzas for home delivery at 8.18pm... it's 9.45pm and still no sign of the food.. I also live not too far from the pizzeria.

27/08/2025: Terrible experience tonight at the Pirate restaurant. The owner was arrogant and rude, the prices were exorbitant, and to top it all off they didn't even issue a receipt.

30/08/2025: Ristorante Pizzeria Valico di Chiunzi is a great choice for a relaxing dinner, especially on warm summer evenings. Located in a strategic position, the restaurant enjoys the fresh air of the pass, which makes it pleasant to stop even after a sultry day. The pizza is good and light, easily digestible, while the classic restaurant proposal recalls the simple and genuine flavors of the past, with typical traditional dishes that recall the home style of the 80s. A dive into the cuisine of the past, without too many pretensions but with taste. Convenient parking available to customers, and the staff has proven to be attentive and helpful, contributing to making the atmosphere welcoming. The prices are modest, in line with what is offered. Ultimately, a good place to take a quiet break, eat well and breathe some fresh air, away from the chaos and heat of the city.

21/08/2025: We went to this restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience wasn't the best. It took half an hour just to order and another half an hour to receive the pizzas. While we were waiting, I noticed the glasses were dirty; they looked like they had limescale on them, and they were all scratched. When the pizzas finally arrived, my Margherita had overly salty mozzarella, raw tomato, and the dough was too thin. They also sat at the wrong table, and the fries on the sausage and chips pizza (white) were raw. To conclude, I ordered a tiramisu, but I received a "pandistelle" version, which had nothing of the classic tiramisu, neither in appearance nor taste. The atmosphere is very beautiful and well-kept, but the prices are high for the quality of the food. I don't know if I'd go back.
