19/07/2025: Wow, best tomato sauce ever. Out of the crowd place with terrace. Had a pizza & salad and it was delicious, the homemade tomato sauce was so good I would eat it with a spoon. 😂. Nice staff and great lunch!

24/08/2025: I'm a bit disappointed with this hotel. While it's not terrible, it didn't meet my expectations, and the experience was mixed. Let's start with the positives: the reception hall and other common areas are very well-maintained, clean, and elegant. The outdoor spaces are impressive, with decorative mosaics, a spacious veranda, and a splendid view of the sea. The location is excellent: Vietri is easily reached on foot in just a few minutes. In fact, the hotel is located right on the border between Vietri and Salerno. Unfortunately, the quality begins to decline when you get to the rooms. For a four-star hotel, they are quite dated—more like what you'd expect from a modest three-star hotel. It must be said, however, that the beds are comfortable and the soundproofing is excellent. Despite being near a very noisy nightclub, once the windows are closed, the noise is barely audible, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. The view from the balcony is also excellent, with a splendid view of Salerno, the port, and the coast. That said, the rooms are not at all "luxury" standard. An electric light fixture literally fell off, the bathroom was poorly maintained, and the shower doors didn't work properly. The flush button was loose, and even the air conditioning control was damaged. I've attached a photo of the air conditioning control just to give you an idea. A room can be dated if it's well-maintained, but leaving it in this condition, given the prices they charge, leaves the impression of neglect. Then there's the beach. It's nice to have an elevator down, the water clean, so far so good. But the prices? Simply outrageous. €3.50 for a can of Coke or Fanta is a rip-off. And the sun loungers at €40 per person per day? Three of us, two days: €240. An insane amount, practically the same as another hotel stay. Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of fresh fruit, pastries, cured meats, and more, served in an elegant room. The coffee, however, was average. The staff was mostly friendly and welcoming. At check-in, one person seemed rather cold (not rude, but not warm either), but the others, like the gentleman who escorted us to our rooms, were more lively. In summary, the hotel has beautiful common areas, a top location, and a fantastic view, but the rooms are dated and the prices are a bit high. Not a total disaster, but honestly, I expected much more.

24/08/2025: The hotel's location is excellent. The only exceptions are the view, the common areas, and the terrace. The rooms, however, are old and poorly maintained; the shower was even falling apart. Shower gel and other items are still made of plastic. Some of the air conditioning thermostat controls are broken, and the minibar is empty, with only one bottle of water. Excellent soundproofing. Breakfast is well-stocked with sweets, but not so much with savory options. A REALLY SORRY NOTE: THE PRICE OF THE BEACH CLUB, €40 PER PERSON PER DAY, IS WAY TOO OVERPRICED. Unfortunately, I only realized this when I got the bill. I thought the €40/day was for a front-row seat. NO, A MORTGAGE.

13/07/2025: A repeat experience. We found it by chance, but I'd already read the reviews, so we decided to follow our instincts. The spartan atmosphere suggests it's family-run or at least locally owned. It's a restaurant and pizzeria, with a menu offering a good variety of pizzas (electric oven), specifically for Neapolitan pizza lovers. This isn't the place for that; here they make the Cilentana, thin and with a low crust. We immediately tried their antipasti platter, a perfect choice, with authentic and very pleasing flavors, and their own cheeses, which were truly top-quality. Vegetables, including broccoli, eggplant, zucchini, potatoes, and Swiss chard, were cooked and seasoned well. We asked for a second helping of cheeses and followed it with two pizzas: one called Parmigiana, one with eggplant and one with scamorza and eggplant. As I mentioned, the dough was simple and thin, but the flavor of the toppings made the combination truly high-quality. All this was washed down with a liter of their own red wine, an authentic wine! Refined palates, abstain! A rustic wine, simple like the dishes and delicacies we ate. Finally, a pleasant surprise: a dessert prepared by them, with shortcrust pastry and a delicate lemon cream, but it surprised us. It's a flavor we'll remember for a long time. We really enjoyed it, accompanied by the inevitable Amaro and Annurca apple liqueur. In the end, we paid the right price. There had been a misunderstanding about the appetizer service, but they handled the issue very well and proved to be very attentive to their customers. Thank you, and we'll definitely see you again.

25/08/2025: Attracted by the reviews, we decided to try this restaurant, convenient for its location and opening hours (service begins at 7:30 PM). Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to expectations: the scampi risotto only had the heads, and the only thing that was spot on was the cooking. The rest was a tomato and cheese soup (with scampi heads) for the modest sum of €20 per dish, and the minimum order is two dishes. We moved on to the fried food, which wasn't particularly good, but we noticed that some tables had richer dishes than others (for example, with anchovies, shrimp, etc.), so when paying, we asked for an explanation. Moreover, the same person who served the dining room was at the cash register. We were told (without any indication on the menu or by the waiter) that the fried food is based on what you order... but it would have been nice to consider the options, in my opinion... anyway, we spent almost €80 and didn't make a fuss. Having abandoned the idea of ​​​​first courses, on our last evening we ordered takeout pizzas: burned on the bottom and edges, without any seasoning... in short, it's not the best place we've been, but obviously that's my personal experience. I think there are better places in this area.

24/08/2025: A very popular place in the area, the place is nice but a bit dated. We ordered two spaghetti with clams, which remained unremarkable. They were without the seafood-inspired sauce, and the clams were a bit sparse. My daughter had the gluten-free pizza, while I had the mixed grilled fish... 30 euros for that dish seems really excessive. The service was courteous and attentive... We went in with high expectations based on how our friends had described it, but we left feeling a bit disappointed.

Lidia, Andrea, and her staff They are attentive and fantastic The pizza is excellent, not heavy, and of high quality The appetizers and snacks are excellent, as per Campania tradition Generous portions The baked chicken is not to be underestimated!!! A true masterpiece, I think it's the best in the area Beautiful place, neither big nor small, and a great outdoor area... I've been a customer for years, and my 5 daughters love the chicken. And I adore Andrea's pizza... If you pass by Mercato San Severino, you can't miss it.

27/07/2025: Storica pizzeria salernitana trasferitasi da Mariconda alla nuova sede, nei pressi dello stadio Arechi, con ampia possibilità di parcheggio. L’ambiente é sobrio ed essenziale (in estate anche all’aperto), senza servizio ai tavoli e senza coperto. All’arrivo si fa l’ordine completo alla cassa e si paga. Quando le pizze sono pronte, si ritirano e si portano al tavolo. Ogni pizza viene consegnata già tagliata, su un foglio di carta oleata, senza posate, e mangiata con le mani. I tempi di attesa non sono lunghi e i prezzi abbastanza onesti. Ci sono stato con la famiglia e abbiamo preso varie pizze. L’impasto é risultato morbido, gli ingredienti ottimi e la pizza molto leggera. Purtroppo, più di qualche pizza aveva il fondo e il cornicione bruciacchiati, tanto da farne calare l’appetibilità e il gusto. Un vero peccato! Consiglio allo staff di porre più attenzione alla cottura anche a costo di allungare i tempi di attesa. Solo così il locale potrà aspirare a rappresentare l’eccellenza della pizza a Salerno.

17/06/2025: Ho girato tante pizzerie a Salerno ma da Carminuccio non ero mai andato ,un po’ perché pensavo che era sopravvalutata un po’ perchè abituato alle solite pizzerie ,ieri sera mi sono dovuto ricredere ,per me e la mia compagna è la migliore pizza di Salerno ,la vera pizza autentica che si fabbricava fino a un decennio orsono . C’è poca varietà di scelta ,ma anche nel menù è contemplata la pizza classica ,abbiamo ordinato una Margherita e una Diavola ,ed era una esplosione di sapore e di gusti ,ho rivisto le vecchie pizze old style che esaltavano le papille gustative negli anni 80. L’ambiente è molto spartano e sciuè sciuè (alla mano) ma anche per questo è autentico del luogo e della tradizione Salernitana :si ordina la pizza a banco e viene servita su carta cellulosa (molto igienica ) e senza posate e viene consumata sui tavoli all interno del locale o all’aperto . Ci ritornerò con amici parenti perché tutti devono fare questa esperienza

24/05/2025: Sabato scorso, con amici, siamo stati da Mansi, zona Torrione. Mancavamo da prima della pandemia e già allora eravamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti. Abbiamo trovato il locale totalmente cambiato: bell'ambiente che farebbe pensare anche alla ristorazione, non solo alla pizza e "cose simili". Abbiamo ordinato due "Pinoli a Cetara", una Nerano d'inverno, una Amatrice e una Margherita. Pizze davvero buone. Impasto leggero e ottimi gli ingredienti usati. La "Pinoli a Cetara" è stata la "più votata". Ottima con il suo gusto deciso e delicato al tempo stesso. Prezzi alti, ma ormai è così quasi ovunque. Con l'Euro prima e tutti gli altri eventi successivi, ci hanno abituati a pagare 10-12€ (ma anche di più!) per una pizza (per quanto buona sia) come se fosse una cosa normale da sempre. La vecchia cara "Margherita", difficilmente scende sotto i 6-7€. Fanno vedere che ti offrono il prosecchino di benvenuto, ma te lo paghi con i 2,50€ di coperto a persona. Vabbè...ormai, si sa, le cose vanno così anche a Salerno. Un'ultima menzione per la "graffa semplice" finale: molto molto buona. Prossima volta proveremo quella con la Nutella.

23/03/2025: Locale molto rustico siamo stati serviti da una cameriera molto cortese di nome Angela che ci ha serviti una carbonara buonissima per me e mio marito e 2 bistecche per entrambi con verdure grigliate ecc i bimbi cotoletta e patatine impanata 2 volte super croccanti con patatine vastissima scelta di dolci il conto era in norma con gli altri ristoranti anzi datosi i prezzi che ci sono in giro si sono presi anche poco ci ritorneremo volentieri

02/05/2025: Friendly staff, quaint place but poor quality of food. The kebabs I ordered were chicken (not indicated on the menu). The roast potatoes were clearly frozen potato wedges that had been badly heated in the oven.
