I'll start by saying, as a restaurateur, that sometimes people don't understand the essence of a business, whether it's a pizzeria or a restaurant. People are always looking for "products," "product," and innovation.
Tonight, after years of not being at Mercato San Severino, I found an excellent pizza with excellent ingredients, great preparation (because rolling out the dough and adding the toppings isn't the same as making pizza), and the entire process of handling the ingredients is done with great care. The extensive menu is able to please everyone; in fact, we ordered a pizza and three (enormous) sandwiches, which were excellent and delicious. I'd also say that the quality and passion are also evident in the HOME-MADE frittatas, which are spectacular, and I give them my heartfelt compliments.
Very friendly and homely service; all the staff were kind, patient, and precise.
The price is in line with what you get, except for the frittatas, which, in my opinion, could be more expensive for the quality!
And I'll also say that, being used to Tuscan prices, I paid very little.
Well done, guys!
In conclusion, it's sometimes better to make trivial complaints directly to the establishment, especially if you're complaining about spending too much, unless you're at Eurospin, no matter how refined your palate.
And if there's a delay or a small defect, it should be reported.
Because when there's congestion, it's normal to make a small mistake everywhere. Dismissing something for free over a trivial matter, however, is calling into question all the work that goes into a business (even with deliveries, there's no crystal ball).
That said, next time you go complain to the municipality or Enel.
I ate very well, and I had a great time!
