23/12/2025: Quality pizza and other things at affordable prices, definitely recommended to everyone, try the sausage and broccoli pizza at least once and you will definitely return.

14/03/2026: The pizza looked excellent, with a light and fluffy crust. It's a shame I ordered paella. The rice was really undercooked, hard to swallow (and I love rice and pasta al dente), and soaked in oil. All the seafood was definitely frozen and far too chewy. I'm giving it two stars, not one, for the excellent service and the pizza, which definitely would have been a better choice. For the price, I really expected more from what's considered their flagship dish. I wouldn't eat it again 🙏

12/01/2026: I don't usually write bad reviews, but this time I'll make an exception. I go to this restaurant's website and find a menu that says they also do takeout or delivery. I call to order a portion of chicken with potatoes (the menu says the chicken weighs about 1 kg and costs 16 euros), but they tell me they don't do delivery and that the menu is out of date (maybe it's time to update it). "To be fair," they inform me that the portion isn't 1 kg but rather a thigh + drumstick +, of course, potatoes, and that the price is 15 euros per portion. Okay, I'll order for pickup. I arrive, pay, and get in the car ready to leave, but I decide to check the portions because the containers seemed small and light... I was right, the portions were indeed very small, and I decide to go back to ask if everything was correct. They tell me those are the correct portions. Obviously, the waiters and cashiers aren't to blame, so I say goodbye and leave. Once I get home, I weigh the chicken and potatoes to be as accurate as possible: Chicken portion 1: 160 g Chicken portion 2: 185 g Single portion of potatoes: 210 g Total cost, including two 33cl Cokes in glass bottles: €36 Honestly, this seems like an ABSURD price. I definitely won't be back! The staff (from what little I saw) seemed polite and friendly.

26/12/2025: Every year when we arrive in Policastro from Germany, this is the first place we visit. The pizza is excellent and really inexpensive. The owner has known us for a long time, and everyone is very friendly.

08/09/2025: The atmosphere is very spartan, the service is slow, I don't know if it was a coincidence but for a pizza we waited 1 hour for the parmigiana and the fried food. Never again.

02/01/2026: Squalid, the service is terrible, I go there because the food is good and it's cheap.

18/02/2026: We arrived at this place after seeing the menu advertised on social media, with significantly higher expectations than what we found. The atmosphere was practically nonexistent: the only "entertainment" was a character who kept repeating "Who wants to do karaoke?", but that was really the least significant aspect of the evening. The main problem was the service. Once seated, we waited a long time before being acknowledged. After ordering, the wait between courses was interminable. The last course of the menu featured a warm heart-shaped cake for dessert, but after more than 40/50 minutes of waiting, we never received it. There was no sign of a waiter in the dining room. At a certain point, honestly, we got bored: we didn't even feel like getting up to ask for an explanation and went straight to pay. When it came to the bill, no one bothered to ask if everything was okay: they just took our money and said goodbye. Truly precarious service. All for €55 total, so €27.50 per person, for a bruschetta, a plate of pasta, and a small second course that seemed more like a side dish than a main course. We were truly disappointed and I strongly advise against it.

02/05/2026: I'm changing my review from 4 to 2 stars. Quality has dropped dramatically over the years. The portions are paltry, but they're still charged like they used to. Looking at photos from previous years and today's dishes, there's nothing similar. The house appetizer was paltry. I remember there were hot and cold dishes, but now it's just 2 shellfish, a bit of seafood salad, and the usual black rice that's left on the plate (€18). The first courses are seafood, but the seafood was still seafood-based (€14/16). The fried food was good, but 2 prawns, a handful of calamari, and a few anchovies were lost on the plate (€16). I'm so sorry. I hope they go back to the way they were back when we used to travel 100km to eat there.

21/01/2026: This hotel is so-so. But the soundproofing is absolutely terrible. You can hear everyone showering perfectly clearly. 🙄 I can hear the doorbell ringing in the next room perfectly clearly. 20/05/2026: We stopped in for lunch and it was quiet, music was great, staff and food terrific. Excellent find for a relaxed meal.

06/01/2026: We visited this restaurant last night, passing through the streets of Salerno to see the Christmas lights. Mr. Mimmo showed us the various menus as we passed, and on our way back, we stopped. What can I say? We made an excellent choice! We ordered the fish menu, delicious, with generous portions, but above all, the fish was fresh and cooked to order. I highly recommend anyone who happens to be in Salerno to stop and savor the delicacies of this restaurant.

23/11/2025: I was there this summer. The first time, we had such a great time that we decided to return several times during our stay. Impeccable dishes, attentive service, and the pizza is the best I've ever eaten. Highly recommended.

13/10/2025: What an amazing experience we had at this amazing restaurant. It’s a small family restaurant but the food is outstanding. I’d say the best food in the area. The owner, Benito , greeted us with a house spritz and a huge smile…which is rare in most Amalfi coast restaurants 😜. Later on , he gave us some local appetizer filled with cheese and it was wow. We ordered 4 cheeses pizza and sea food pasta that was recommended by his wonderful waiter …and he spoke English…which is a rare thing on the coast as well . Both dishes were so good . I couldn’t stop eating. I couldn’t even imagine that simple dishes can have so many flavors at once. At the end of the, Benito treated us to a house lemonchello and I fell in love with it. It was out of this world. Also we ordered some dessert that was recommended by our waiter as well. Obviously I didn’t ask its name . It was a white shaped dome with pear 🍐 filling inside. It was just wow. Total satisfaction in one meal. I highly recommend this place if you want an authentic Italian homemade meal and an amazing service…which is also very rare up there lol. Enjoy ! Definitely 10 ✨.

13/04/2026: A simple but spacious restaurant, with about 18 tables spread across a long, spacious room. To start, we tried a Nerano-style pasta frittatina and some cheddar and bacon fries, but they weren't entirely convincing. The pizzas were similar: slightly better than the fried ones, but still unimpressive. The prices were fair. The wait for our pizzas was quite long. However, the two staff members in the dining room were extremely kind and helpful. The Fork voucher was applied correctly. Restrooms were well-maintained. Limited street parking available. Overall, given the positive reviews, I expected something better.

25/03/2026: This pizzeria surprised me. The fried foods are good, and the pizza is also good, different from the usual ones with huge crusts and a long leavening time. In fact, this pizza is almost crispy, which isn't a bad thing, and the ingredients aren't low-quality. It's a shame it's in a hard-to-find location; you certainly wouldn't pass by by chance. The staff could have been more attentive, even though they were kind and friendly.

29/04/2026: We stopped here on our way and I have to say the pizza was excellent. The only thing we didn't understand was the extra €1 for the seafood pizza, since we didn't order anything different from the menu, and the cover charge, which we didn't understand since it wasn't listed on the menu. I should point out that it's not for a little over €2. Anyway, the pizza is great.
