14/06/2026: The owner and staff are very kind. The pizza is very good, especially the one with zucchini flowers from the garden, with authentic flavors. The setting is simple, with a splendid view of the mountains and a pleasant, retro atmosphere.

30/07/2026: Don't miss it! Sabatino is a small shop that's been VERY well-known to Salerno locals for decades. It's an institution that you absolutely must visit at least once. They serve small pizzas or fried calzones at affordable prices (less than €2). A real treat.

07/07/2026: So it's not really for sitting down, more of a takeaway option. The Panzerotto was filled only with cheese and cost €1.80.

05/08/2026: What a great pizza I ate! Maybe the place is small, maybe the tables are small, but the pizza... the pizza was great! I still think about it 😅. The owner was very kind and helpful. The location is central but not exposed to pedestrian traffic. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 🙌❤️

21/06/2026: Horrible, disgusting, and flavorless dish. The dough was so bad, it was made three years ago. My celiac friend ordered a gluten-free pizza with sausage and fries, and she got a slice of pizza with pancetta and mozzarella, which was VERY HARD. I will never return to this place.

02/05/2026: I'm changing my review from 4 to 2 stars. Quality has dropped dramatically over the years. The portions are paltry, but they're still charged like they used to. Looking at photos from previous years and today's dishes, there's nothing similar. The house appetizer was paltry. I remember there were hot and cold dishes, but now it's just 2 shellfish, a bit of seafood salad, and the usual black rice that's left on the plate (€18). The first courses are seafood, but the seafood was still seafood-based (€14/16). The fried food was good, but 2 prawns, a handful of calamari, and a few anchovies were lost on the plate (€16). I'm so sorry. I hope they go back to the way they were back when we used to travel 100km to eat there.

07/08/2026: A great find in Castellabate! We were welcomed right away without a reservation and dined in a delightful garden with a glimpse of Santa Maria. The seafood cuisine was a top-notch: exquisite stuffed anchovies, incredibly fresh mussels with pepper, well-balanced trofie with mussels and pecorino cheese, and an impeccable grilled fish. The only shame was my son's gnocco alla sorrentina, the only dish we weren't convinced by. The service was quick and attentive, and the price was more than fair. An absolutely positive experience that we highly recommend.

26/07/2026: We visited this restaurant and had a completely disappointing experience. After waiting a full two hours without receiving our order, we asked the staff for an explanation. Instead of apologizing for the obvious delay, one of the staff members addressed us in a rude, impolite, and completely unprofessional manner. Respect for the customer should be the cornerstone of any restaurant, but it's completely lacking here. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!!! The choice is yours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

03/06/2026: Prices have gone up lately, and the sangria wasn't like it used to be, but you still charge for the chilled wine you sell for sangria... You should change your approach.

14/03/2026: The pizza looked excellent, with a light and fluffy crust. It's a shame I ordered paella. The rice was really undercooked, hard to swallow (and I love rice and pasta al dente), and soaked in oil. All the seafood was definitely frozen and far too chewy. I'm giving it two stars, not one, for the excellent service and the pizza, which definitely would have been a better choice. For the price, I really expected more from what's considered their flagship dish. I wouldn't eat it again 🙏

23/11/2025: I was there this summer. The first time, we had such a great time that we decided to return several times during our stay. Impeccable dishes, attentive service, and the pizza is the best I've ever eaten. Highly recommended.

13/10/2025: What an amazing experience we had at this amazing restaurant. It’s a small family restaurant but the food is outstanding. I’d say the best food in the area. The owner, Benito , greeted us with a house spritz and a huge smile…which is rare in most Amalfi coast restaurants 😜. Later on , he gave us some local appetizer filled with cheese and it was wow. We ordered 4 cheeses pizza and sea food pasta that was recommended by his wonderful waiter …and he spoke English…which is a rare thing on the coast as well . Both dishes were so good . I couldn’t stop eating. I couldn’t even imagine that simple dishes can have so many flavors at once. At the end of the, Benito treated us to a house lemonchello and I fell in love with it. It was out of this world. Also we ordered some dessert that was recommended by our waiter as well. Obviously I didn’t ask its name . It was a white shaped dome with pear 🍐 filling inside. It was just wow. Total satisfaction in one meal. I highly recommend this place if you want an authentic Italian homemade meal and an amazing service…which is also very rare up there lol. Enjoy ! Definitely 10 ✨.

03/08/2026: Familiar and welcoming, excellent food and excellent ingredients. The lady (I assume his wife) is sweet and welcoming with the children and their needs. I highly recommend it.

29/06/2026: The place itself is nice, but unfortunately everything else leaves a lot to be desired. We ordered fried food, which arrived literally two minutes later and were completely cold, clearly some leftovers. I'm also unsure about the quality, given the unpleasant taste. The pizza, honestly, was nothing special, though the only downside was that it was overcooked (and here I wonder what the rush was, given that we were the only guests in the room at the time). Definitely not suitable for those with sensitive stomachs, as it's quite hard to digest. Prices are more or less average.
