25/05/2025: I just stayed in this facility for work but unfortunately the facility outside of the very beautiful view that some rooms have on the coastal side and is an old structure in total disuse, internal doors completely destroyed, dirty walls with blood stains from those who previously tried to kill mosquitoes on the walls of which the rooms are full Dust everywhere under the bed inside the wardrobes on the furniture Bathrooms dilapidated and not suitable for the assigned category Courtesy sets almost ineffective, no slippers, no bathrobe and courtesy products that are not even found in 60s pensions Total rudeness of the reception where we were welcomed by a lady who was quite arrogant and annoyed Insufficient car parking because the facility is used for ceremonies and wedding banquets so for the hotel guests they do not reserve places and do not have a driving service but you have to look for a place The external furniture positioned on the Balcony is dirty and all full of rust which is the life motif of the entire facility that by looking out onto the balcony and distracting your eyes from the unique spectacle of the coast that has its own fax machine you realize how there are countless renovation works started and never finished and with exposed concrete irons all full of rust To conclude music and disco until 5 in the morning at volumes impossible to rest All this is the Reason that when you arrive at the hotel you ask for advance payment and not just the guarantee card for fear that guests on departure with good reason complain about an inadequate payment and rate I strongly advise against it and a place to avoid it is a shame because it could be a beautiful structure in terms of location and view

19/05/2025: Very nice hotel, even if dated it retains its elegance and refinement. Very clean. Top breakfast, you can really find everything. Dinner too. However I did not understand why in the "half board" the waiter's welcome was "So, you have half board, but obviously it's not like you take appetizer, first and second course... you can choose two savory dishes and dessert, drinks are paid for...". Very polite and kind boy, but he approached with this sentence, and not only at my table. So half board will be just like that. I am not very accustomed to the subject. Excellent quality food. SORRY NOTE FOR LOVERS OF RELAXATION... do not go on the weekend. On Saturday night DISCO until morning, with screaming volumes. I complained to the reception, at 2 in the morning already destroyed, but nothing! They could not turn the volume down. But, with the same intellectual honesty, I must also say that in the morning, I found the manager ready to explain everything. They are looking for a solution to this inconvenience of no small importance (as far as I am concerned). Apart from this great inconvenience, everything is very nice. Carmine at the Reception TOP!

09/05/2025: Perfect spot to eat. It would be even better if portions were a bit bigger. But everything else really perfect.

02/05/2025: Family atmosphere with a varied menu. The Pizza is really great, the service was friendly and fast. Special thanks to all the staff and congratulations to the pizza chefs!

22/05/2025: Small and cozy restaurant-pizzeria, the blue creates a nice relaxing atmosphere. In proportion the kitchen menu is very limited compared to the pizzeria. Simple but well prepared dishes, the idea of ​​the reduction with aromatic herbs gives the size an extra gear, making it particularly tasty. With a glass of rosé and the classic pineapple the bill was €25.50

18/05/2025: Ho provato due pizze in questo locale: una vomitevole, la “vegana” come la chiamano loro, su cui c’erano delle fette di zucchina lessa spesse quanto tre dita e patate sempre lesse e senza sale… vorrei capire la genialità di proporre una pizza del genere chi l’ha avuta, facendola pagare a peso d’oro poi!!!! (Preciso che nel Menù non c’era scritto che fossero lesse queste verdure sulla pizza, altrimenti di certo non l’avrei presa… ma solo zucchine, patate ecc. : ovunque vada e chiedo una pizza con le verdure non mi è mai stata presentata una cosa schifosa come qua, con certe cose mosce che manco un cane avrebbe mangiato… piuttosto sarebbero dovute essere fritte e tagliate finemente). In un’altra occasione ho provato un’altra pizza (una Regina) che sì era decente ma niente di più, sempre pagata profumatissimamente. Durante quella sera, inoltre, la “simpaticissima” proprietaria, sempre con l’antipatia che la contraddistingue, ci ha conteggiato anche una bottiglia d’acqua (da 3€!!!! Prezzi che nemmeno a Milano si vedono) extra. Non lo consiglio assolutamente, anche perché prima ancora della pizza viene l’accoglienza dei clienti, che qui è sotto zero. A mai più!

16/07/2024: scrivo la recensione come monito per titolari e collaboratori poiché una recensione ha lo scopo di far crescere un attività . è sabato sera io e la mia compagna chiamiamo per prenotare all ultimo minuto con molta cortesia ci viene detto che sarebbe stato disponibile il tavolo per le 21 50 , arriviamo in loco alle 21 40 e con nostra grande sorpresa ci fanno accomodare già al tavolo , ma in realtà non sapevano di preciso se realmente fossimo noi ad aver prenotato per primi o un altro cognome . appena seduti un ragazzo molto premuroso ci porta subito da bere e ci da di conseguenza il menù, vediamo tanta gente quindi optiamo per una commanda semplice e veloce per velocizzare la cucina . un antipasto da dividere in 2 un primo e un secondo (il secondo è della carne che va a etto ci sn 3 tipologie di carne e di conseguenza anche di prezzo) il cameriere chiedendo delucidazioni sia della qualità della carne che della pezzatura ci dice che prima di servirla a tavola sarebbe venuto per pezzatura e qualità tutto ciò non è avvenuto mi ritrovo a mangiare con una carne che si è manzo ma non so sinceramente ne la pezzatura ne il prezzo , detto ciò non parlo di tempistiche poiché mi rendo conto che possono variare a seconda di come arrivano i clienti anche se vedo che i camerieri nn hanno idea di chi è arrivato prima o dopo . arrivo alla cassa e ovviamente trovo la pezzatura della carne con il prezzo della qualità più alta . mi fanno uno sconto considerevole poiché avevano toppato pure la cottura della stessa . detto ciò nn è una bocciatura ma un ausilio per migliorare poiché il primo scelto dalla mia compagna è veramente buono .. spero sia da monito e utile

02/05/2025: Ci sono stato su consiglio di amici, e devo dire che è stata una bella scoperta. Il locale ha un’atmosfera semplice ma accogliente, perfetta per chi ama la buona carne. Servizio cordiale, tempi di attesa nella norma, prezzi onesti per la qualità che viene servita. Si vede che c’è passione dietro. Insomma, se vi piace la carne fatta come si deve, La rana è una scelta sicura. Ci tornerò volentieri.

19/05/2025: We dined at this restaurant 2 times during our stay in Cetara, and for takeaway 1 time. Our first experience was spoilt somewhat by a moody waitress who was obviously not in a helpful mood. Shame as the food was good. 1 point to mention is the green salad €3 was only chopped iceburg lettuce, so it was disappointing as there is amazing local salad produce. We had takeaway pizza, and this was fabulous, super tasty, and faultless. On our last night, we went back as we really wanted the squid and prawns again. Luckily, we met the most handsome and friendly waiter, Vitorio. He was charming and friendly, he made our last night the best one !! We tried the bruscetta with archives, we loved them, and again also had pizza, prawn pasta, and seafood to share and a bottle of wine.. €75 euros for 4 adults.. happy and full. Robert even got to sign the wall in the restaurant!!! Thanks for a memorable evening, the Spilsbury family, and Dawn.
