16/08/2024: Food: Today being mid-August we wanted to spend the evening in the company of good food. We had everything but except this. The restaurant offered a land menu and a seafood menu. Most of our table had chosen a land menu which included a starter, a first course, a second course, Aqua dessert and wine. The cured meats were cut too double and were very dry. Unfortunately they were not eatable. Things contained in the menu established by the structure did not appear at all. The aubergine parmiggiana was aubergines cooked in oil. Something truly disgusting. Service: I would like to point out that when we arrived the restaurant was still almost empty. It filled up little by little. The young waitress who was responsible for our table was very rude. He chewed gum in his mouth disgustingly. We gave the order and she didn't even know the established menu existed. After that we booked drinks. She brings them! We requested large drink bottles and she brought the small ones. We pointed this out to her, but she arrogantly replied, now the drinks are uncorked and you have to take it. The appetizer arrives and many things are missing. Members of our table did not have the menu and booked second courses a la carte saying that these things had to come out together with the second course on the menu. However, the second courses also arrived together with the starter, but here too the side dish was missing. After the appetizer the staff was unable to clear the table. Given this, we waited more than an hour for something to happen, we left without eating anymore! The food didn't arrive and the waiter didn't really care. When it was time to pay we were the ones who said what to count and what not, because she didn't remember well. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, the owner said that something like this could happen. It was a real rip-off!! ATTENTION!

15/08/2024: The festival of incompetence on all levels: Today, on August 15th, we were "guests" of this restaurant. Calling it that really costs me a lot because it was a truly terrible experience for everyone present. Service: When booking the drinks we ask for a bottle of Coca Cola Zero and a bottle of Fanta and this is where the first incompetent person in the person of the waitress begins to identify with herself: After a while she brings us the bottles of drinks and upon our indication that we wanted he replied that he had opened the large bottles by now and therefore we had to take them. After we had had the starter, the waitress in her shirt, in charge of our table, was unable to collect the dishes from our table. Presumptuous, arrogant and incompetent attitude. Food: We booked the Terra menu which consisted of an appetizer with cold cuts cut so double that everyone stopped feeling hungry. Unfortunately for them, after which we waited 60 minutes, we left the place. In these sixty minutes the gang of incompetents have not managed to remove the dishes from the table. The owner: the kingpin responsible for the gang of incompetents at the time of payment, instead of apologizing for the incompetence of his structure, states that an evening like this "can happen". Not recommended and truly a great shame for the restaurateur category.

06/11/2023: Sempre ottime le pizze nel salernitano, ti sembra di essere in famiglia. Prese ai vari tipi, sia l'impasto che il condimento sono da 10 e lode.

31/05/2024: Storica pizzeria di Salerno. Non bisogna soffermarsi sul locale arredato con sufficienza, sul servizio al tavolo che non c’è e…su tutto quello che non c’è! Qui bisogna giudicare solo la pizza che come sempre è buonissima!! Da prendere assolutamente la “Carminuccio”, un’esplosione di sapori.

07/05/2024: Storica pizzeria salernitana che dopo un periodo di chiusura, riapre . E riapre alla grandissima. Pizza ottima , ben cotta, di qualità gli ingredienti, servizio rapido ed efficiente. Prezzi assolutamente onesti . La pizza viene tagliata e poi servita su fogli di carta oleata. Senza posate . Bevande da prendere da soli nei frigo a disposizione. Locale situato parecchio in periferia, a poca distanza dallo stadio Arechi , ampia possibilità di parcheggio . La pizzeria si trova sotto un bel palazzo di recente costruzione. Estrema pulizia. Complimenti

11/08/2024: The restaurant is a little out of the way but easy to reach, has an internal air-conditioned room and an external dehor, friendly and attentive staff, very good Neapolitan pizzas, average prices. Advised.

18/08/2024: Una perla del Cilento ed il migliore di Castllabate. Una vista meravigliosa e pesce squisito. Come antipasto altamente consigliati il polpo ed il Tresino. Come primi linguine all’astice o al nero di seppia e poi ricciola o tonno come secondo. PS se siete attenti all’ingresso troverete una targa storica e legata al film Benvenuti al Sud.

18/08/2024: Abbiamo prenotato al secondo turno un tavolo con vista panoramica, fatelo perché ne vale la pena! Vista mozzafiato, cibo ottimo. Il prezzo vale ciò che paghi, se vieni a castellabate non puoi fartelo mancare. Un complimento particolare va a Carmine, penso uno dei camerieri più gentile e professionale che abbiamo mai conosciuto. Torneremo sicuramente!

19/06/2024: Locale ampio e pulito, con possibilità di mangiare all'aperto e parcheggio vicino. Si mangia molto bene, piatti abbondanti e saporiti, ma anche le pizze sono buone. Personale cordiale, ma il servizio è decisamente un po' lento. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Provare per credere.

12/07/2024: A squeezed orange juice, a cappuccino and 2 pastries for 9.50 euros, we found it to be reasonable.

01/06/2024: A nice bar on Via Roma with a panoramic view of the city's seafront. Very welcoming staff. Possibility to sit outside enjoying the view. Tasty appetizers, cocktails and coffees.

18/08/2024: Pleasant surprise. Unscheduled dinner in Castellabate on August 17th. Excellent mussel peppered, excellent cavatelli with octopus ragù and truly delicious trofie with mussels, dried tomatoes and goat cheese. We then shared a very delicate squid stuffed with escarole, provola, capers and olives. All accompanied with excellent falanghina. The staff very kind and attentive. A thousand thanks

16/08/2024: A very nice restaurant in Piazza del Belvedere in Castellabate. The first "chef's fantasy" first course was excellent and today included tuna genoise. Friendly staff. Clean place, with a breathtaking view. Medium/high prices.

31/07/2024: Very nice place, with a park for children, the service is helpful and fast. I wasn't particularly impressed with the quality. I think the fried foods are frozen, the pizza is too heavy, but this is based on my taste.

31/07/2024: Excellent dough, generous pizzas also in terms of seasoning, excellent prices. The only negative points are the service (slightly inexperienced waiters...). Given that they have certainly changed the pizza chef, a few years ago it was inedible

03/08/2024: Just 2 minutes by car from the PADULA-BUONABITACOLO exit of the A3 SA-RC motorway (now A2 of the Mediterranean!) both towards Salerno and towards Reggio-Calabria, 5 minutes from the beautiful Certosa di Padula (Unesco heritage! ), in the center of the still little-known Vallo di Diano, part of the Cilento National Park, with its characteristic villages (one above all Teggiano) and its uncontaminated nature (I recommend the Pertosa Caves)! Located at the crossroads between Campania, Basilicata (Maratea 50 minutes away) and Calabria (Diamante just over 1 hour away), here at the Colonia pizzeria I truly had the best pizza I've ever tasted, strictly wood-fired, high and fragrant but absolutely digestible , with a wide choice of condiments: spring, tricolore, emmentaler salami and onion, caciocavallo and capocollo, porcini, sausage and parmesan, caprese also with smoked provola, to be accompanied with a fresh HB beer on tap. In the evening pizza, at lunch traditional Italian and southern dishes such as sea and mountain appetizers with local cured meats and dairy products, fresh Sicilian fusilli, with meat sauce, tagliatelle with speck and courgettes, roast veal and pork. Large outdoor terrace fabulous on summer evenings. The owners Antonio and Anneliese are always friendly and helpful. Italian and German speaking!
