15/10/2025: We went to this restaurant without any expectations, and I must say, we were absolutely blown away! The food was incredibly delicious, and the service was top-notch. Truly amazing! But what really made the night unforgettable was the kindness of Danielle and his wife. They went above and beyond by personally driving us all the way back to our hotel when there were no taxis available after dinner. Who does that? Only someone who is genuinely generous and caring. This experience made it clear: this is officially the best restaurant we’ve ever been to. Highly recommended!

06/10/2025: Delicious and enormous Margherita and drink for only €10! The pizza is large enough for two. I was impressed that it went from dough to my table in 15 minutes. This place is located on the outside perimeter of the Galleria Umberto I and a few steps from the Teatro San Carlo. So it’s a convenient stop when you visit Piazza Plebiscito.

The €5 Margherita was perfect – a light, well-cooked crust, fresh tomato sauce, and creamy mozzarella. The fried appetizers like arancini and frittatine were also delicious and well-seasoned. The service was friendly and quick, despite the large number of customers. The atmosphere is simple, but that's precisely what makes it so charming – no show, just a genuine Neapolitan way of life. I would go back anytime – authentic, delicious, and absolutely great value for money!

21/10/2025: Simply perfect, quality and courtesy. We celebrated my birthday and, on my sister's recommendation, discovered a true gem. The place is clean, the owner and staff are courteous, and above all, the food is excellent. Five appetizers: cuttlefish, bruschetta, octopus alla Luciana, zeppole, Ischian-style beans, and, upon our request, even slices of Margherita pizza. My favorite was a fresh pasta scialatiello with seafood, cooked al dente. Another excellent and dry fried calamari, shrimp, and anchovies accompanied by salad, and then a delicious fresh fruit salad. Plenty of wine, as well as digestives. Price? Less than €30 per person, worth every penny. I'll be back even if I live far away, because they deserve it.

Trattamento al quanto particolare: Ti accomodi, ordini alla cassa e viene servito al tavolo. Bel concetto di fare impresa mantenendo i costi davvero contenuti. In conclusione mangi bene e spendi davvero poco. Complimenti.

04/10/2025: My best friend and I found this gem on whim while in Pompeii and we are so glad that we did. It's just off the main area, so it's quiet and the atmosphere is amazing. The service was impeccable and the food was excellent. Our server Antonio was great and suggested wine options and dessert choices and was just attentive overall. We would 100% go back if we were ever in Pompeii again!

28/09/2025: Is this the best spot I've eaten at? No. BUT it has this family-owned, no frills, local charm to it. Waitress was incredibly friendly (I think the nicest person who waited on us all this trip) and it was cheap and not bad. I think if they were to dim the lights a bit, make the outside lighting a bit less, remove the TV, and maybe play some background music, this could be a hit. Then again, do you wanna cater to tourists' vision?

31/05/2025: Stopped at this restaurant for our first dining experience in Italy and absolutely loved it! The pizza selection was so unique compared to what we have in the US so we tried a little bit of everything. The pizza crust was very light and crispy along with a mixture of fresh toppings. The pizza was outstanding and super affordable. We definitely want to come back before our stay ends in Naples.

Next time in Naples, it'll be pizza at La Caraffa 👍🏻It's been three years since our last review, but we've continued to frequent La Caraffa for pizza. This Saturday, we found ourselves there for lunch. As soon as we walked in, the aroma of Genovese was irresistible. We decided to replace the pizza. A perfect choice! Genovese, pasta and potatoes with provola, tagliatelle with mushrooms, ham, and cream... What can I say? And the desserts to finish were truly exquisite. The service is impeccable. The lady serving the tables, in particular, deserves nothing but praise!
