The pizza was good, the fried food was freshly made, and for the price of the menu, I can only say: thank you! I've been here several times, but I'll be back with friends and family and will speak highly of you to everyone.

09/03/2026: At Infermento, pizza stops being just pizza and becomes almost a small gastronomic ritual. 🍕 An elegant place, with attention to detail, and quick and attentive service that accompanies the evening without ever being intrusive. The dough is truly excellent: light, well-ripened, and memorable. The ingredients are fresh and well-balanced, transforming every bite into a true culinary experience. It's one of those places you enjoy going to and leave already thinking about returning. One small note: despite having plenty of space, we were seated in a room with a fairly large and festive group. The atmosphere was certainly cheerful, but a bit noisy for those, like us, who wanted to chat quietly. Overall, however, Infermento remains a stop well worth returning to.

07/03/2026: There are some major flaws in this pizzeria... the good thing is that it's very aesthetically pleasing... but I want to identify the bad things. 1) The pizza delivery person is in the way of both the staff (who delivers the pizzas to the table) and those waiting for their pizza... there should be a separate area just for those waiting for their pizzas... that would be ideal. 2) Looking at the price, I see that it's DISPROPORTIONATE... both for the area and for the quality of the pizza (a marinara is €6.50), crazy! In 2026, a marinara of €6.50 is truly an insult... I can understand, I'm on the seafront... I'm in a major capital... But I'm in Chiaiano... three pizzas for €27, bad, bad. I hope they improve because with these prices I don't know how long you can resist... someone goes elsewhere and pays much less.

12/03/2026: I spent a wonderful evening at this restaurant. The food is excellent, carefully cooked, and beautifully presented. You can immediately sense the attention to detail: the restaurant is tastefully decorated, and every detail is meticulously crafted, creating a truly welcoming atmosphere. The staff is qualified and professional, especially Mr. Fabio, who offers excellent advice without ever being intrusive. Special thanks to the owner, Attilio, a truly pleasant and hospitable person who made us feel at home right away. I will definitely be back!

21/11/2025: Ottomano is a charming family run business with the kindest owners and servers. Not only did we try some of the best seafood we had in Ischia here, but the restaurant allowed us to stay inside with them even when they were closing, because of the rainfall that wouldn’t stop. We were unprepared and they kindly welcomed us to remain indoors as we enjoyed an espresso and cuddles from the owners dog. The mixed seafood appetizer is a must - it changed my opinion on anchovies for the better because of how fresh and lightly dressed in lemon it was. Everything is worth trying here. 26/10/2025: Taking the €5 taxi boat from S. Angelo to Spiaggia dei Maronti on October 6, 2025 (the day after the storm) was quite an experience for me. The sea offered otherworldly colors, and the visibility was so clear that I could recognize almost every house on the island of Capri. Things started off well for me! I had already bookmarked the Ottomano in Hamburg. I was not disappointed: the view, the food (super fresh alici marinati to start with, gnocchi alla sorrentina for the main course), a full bread basket, a large bottle of water, coffee, excellent service, and fabulous value for money. In short: simply delicious and wonderful! Il mio nuovo luogo di felicità – grazie mille! Tornerò!

09/12/2025: They didn't answer the phone 5 times, in the end I had to order elsewhere, if you want their pizza you have to cross your fingers that they answer you

02/12/2025: I really liked it. Excellent pizza with cream, ham, and mushrooms. Soft dough, not burnt, generous toppings, and a not-too-deep crust. Cold draft beer. Friendly service, perhaps distracted by the game they were showing on TV, but still quick. Two pizzas, a beer, and a water for €30; in the area it's reasonable.

05/01/2026: A very pleasant visit with genuine hospitality. The waiter Salvatore deserves special mention; he speaks excellent German and is exceptionally friendly, attentive, and easygoing. You immediately feel at ease. The owner, Stefano, makes outstanding stone-baked pizza: crispy crust, delicious flavor, and high-quality ingredients. Whenever they have time, they both gladly take a few minutes for a personal chat with their guests, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a relaxed atmosphere, good food, and honest service. Highly recommended if you value good pizza and friendly service.

07/01/2026: Good food but terrible service. There was a child acting crazy in the restaurant running around knocking tables and chairs over, crying yelling and growling at other staff. No one really stopped nor apologized to us when we were just trying to eat. It was so stressful to have to endure this and even though the food was good we will never be back. It is one thing to be noisy in a restaurant and another to ignite anxiety throughout one’s meal. Never again.

16/02/2026: I stayed with my family and dog from February 10th to 15th for the second year in a row! What can I say? The staff and the restaurant staff were incredibly kind and friendly. The facility was impeccable, with daily room cleaning. The breakfasts and dinners were plentiful and high-quality! I don't know what else to say! See you soon, Cristian and Family.
