We enjoyed good wine, delicious pizza, a lovely carpaccio, and a delectable lemon cake to finish. 🍕🍷🍋
The pleasant conversations were also a highlight – including some about Mercedes! 😀 A truly wonderful restaurant experience with a warm atmosphere and excellent food.
Highly recommended – we'll definitely be back! 🇮🇹❤️

Wonderful lunch: meticulous attention to the ingredients, their preparation, pairings, and explanations. Attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Interesting wines. A well-kept venue. Gluten-free options are always available, including homemade ones (like the bread). Thank you!

02/08/2026: We visited this place for the first time after recently moving to Cusano Milanino. It was a delightful discovery. We had a classic burger with fries, and everything was excellent, truly high quality for the reasonable prices. Another important note: the owners are extremely kind and friendly. In short, we've found a new restaurant we'll be going back to often!

The staff at Matanzenu were super welcoming.
We ordered the house appetizers, which were plentiful and very good, both meat and seafood. We also had an excellent pasta dish with snails, which the owner proposed, and which left us pleasantly surprised. We also had some local bombette.
We definitely recommend it!

08/08/2026: Gianni is the art of pizza personified, bringing with him years of Roman pizza tradition. From the first moment you enter his restaurant, you sense you're in a special place. His stories reveal that, despite the passing of the years, Gianni's passion for preparing his wonderful recipes remains the same, as does his desire to make his customers happy. There's no one like him; his brick pizza with surimi and mayonnaise is addictive.
15/07/2026: The absolute best stuffed pizza, with old-school Roman ingredients. You won't find sauces or dips, but you will find a delicious pizza filled with omelettes, classics with mortadella or prosciutto and mozzarella, tuna, and arugula. The pizza is to die for, you have to try it.

Everything was wonderful!
03/04/2026: We had dinner here in the evening, a group of six. There was outdoor seating; inside would have only accommodated four people or involved a short wait.
The value for money is excellent, the portions arrived faster than we've had in a long time, were generously filled, and very tasty!
We will definitely be back!

07/08/2026: I always order pizza from them, and I get a simple marinara with lots of garlic, and what can I say? It's truly amazing! It's so thin and crispy, you have to try it if you haven't tried it yet.
Highly recommended
The service is also top-notch.
07/08/2026: In my experience, the pizza dough isn't good, but it's sticky, while the toppings are plentiful. I wouldn't recommend it.

30/06/2026: My husband and I return to 53040 every time we are in Cetona. It is a hidden gem & such a personal experience. Marco's seasonal menu is always a delight, and we were once again impressed by his creativity in bringing together fresh ingredients & flavors in a completely unexpected way. The restaurant's specially created signature spumante was the ideal accompaniment for our antipasto of tartare di gamberi (the grapes were an inspiring addition!), a primo of seafood ravioli, and secondo of polpo. We didn't order pizza on this occasion, but we love it for takeout!
28/06/2026: This was a really disappointing experience. The restaurant was hot with no air con, the service was almost dismissive and the food was really disappointing. The couscous polpette with chicken was incredibly dry, the bruschette was really average and the gnocchi and conchiglie with cuttlefish were bland. The burger was dry and unpleasant (and was beef when pork was ordered!). All in all, we wasted 100 euro. No wonder it wasn't on the list of recommendations we were given for this area. We should have paid more attention! Save yourself the experience and the expense and go elsewhere.
