31/10/2025: We were staying in Lucca during our trip through Tuscany. It was nighttime, and we decided to order pizzas for dinner to take home. The best and most authentic Italian pizzas I've ever had. A neighborhood pizzeria away from the tourist crowds.

21/10/2025: We went there on a rainy day in the afternoon, so it was full. Nevertheless we got our seats by the friendly and young team after less then 5 minutes. The flair is vibrant and lively - but just don’t expect elbow room. However cleanliness could be improved and a squat-and-hope-style toilet is a joke / disgusting. The pizza came fast after a little something from the kitchen. Toppings were incredibly good, but the dough was not the best in my eyes. They did not manage to get the right mix between soft inside and a bit of crunch in the crust (it had no crunch at all!). It was even partially raw inside and sticked to the plate. The crust could've been done with better rise - I get better results in my home setup... All in all: overhyped.

28/09/2025: This evening I had the pleasure of rediscovering this fantastic place. I wanted to get a takeout pizza. As soon as I arrived, the lady at the cash register invited me in with my dog. I ordered a Margherita pizza with prosciutto. After paying, I preferred to wait outside, and in less than 10 minutes, my pizza was brought out ready to go. The service was top-notch, the friendliness was undeniable, and the price was truly reasonable. The pizza quality was a 9+. Thank you for your kindness; I'll be back for dinner soon.

27/10/2025: Very well organized in green pass control, with tables spaced just the right distance apart. We hadn't been there in a few years, and we couldn't help but regret the lost time. The pizza was superb, that's all there is to it! The staff is attentive, extremely kind, and very professional. Next time in Naples, it'll be pizza at La Caraffa 👍🏻It's been three years since our last review, but we've continued to frequent La Caraffa for pizza. This Saturday, we found ourselves there for lunch. As soon as we walked in, the aroma of Genovese was irresistible. We decided to replace the pizza. A perfect choice! Genovese, pasta and potatoes with provola, tagliatelle with mushrooms, ham, and cream... What can I say? And the desserts to finish were truly exquisite. The service is impeccable. The lady serving the tables, in particular, deserves nothing but praise!

19/10/2025: We ordered one pizza and one calzone classic. The calzone was lukewarm in the centre and the cheese wasn’t even melted. It was watery inside and quite unpleasant. The pizza was okay, nothing special. The service from the guy was not very friendly but the girl was nicer. The prices seem cheap but I’m sure there are better places to get pizza. We left disappointed.

17/10/2025: Was walking around to find a place for dinner and chanced upon this restaurant. Ordered the Cotoletta di lonza di maiale (Pork loin cutlet with baked potatoes) and was surprised by how delicious it was! The pork loin cutlet was crispy on the outside and tender, juicy on the inside and also, the baked potatoes are cooked perfectly. On top of it, the service here is excellent! Highly recommended!

17/10/2025: An enchanting place. It feels like stepping into a fairytale where time stands still. Everything is perfectly balanced, creating a memorable experience. The cuisine is a true highlight, truly gourmet, with well-executed and very interesting dishes. Kudos to the host, Nicola, for the passion with which he runs this restaurant, which I highly recommend!
