23/12/2025: Took advantage of the MC drive, very fast

10/12/2025: Nice and clean, excellent breakfast at super affordable prices. The only two drawbacks: the bathroom (always missing something) and the parking. Since there's a pastry shop nearby, a lot of sneaky people come to park at the MC and then go to the pastry shop, stealing parking from the MC's customers. After countless complaints, seeing that the signs they'd put up were having no effect, they decided to hire someone to make sure only cars going to the MC actually enter. Hopefully this will solve the situation.

29/12/2025: €1.30 for a coffee standing at the counter, and the coffee tasted awful. Furthermore, the gentleman at the counter kept putting his fingers in his mouth while making the coffee, picking something out from between his teeth. He obviously turned around and grabbed the cup of coffee to serve without even cleaning his hands. Atrocious experience.

14/12/2025: An unexpectedly high-quality ice cream shop and pastry shop. Being a busy place, it has the typical shabby look of places frequented every day. Unexpected parking is available in the back. A great stop for those coming from Milan. The pharmacy next door is a great excuse to enjoy a pastry, a coffee, and a scratch card. In short, it has it all.

29/10/2025: Ample parking, clean and well-decorated space, very friendly staff who make you feel at home right away, excellent food, and excellent value. I wasn't familiar with this place, but I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area. Recommended.

16/10/2025: A simple but clean and welcoming place. The staff is helpful and friendly. The menu offers a wide selection of traditional dishes, well-cooked. I recommend the gnocco fritto and roast rabbit. It's worth noting that they're open weekdays as well, not just on weekends.

16/12/2025: The online hours should be updated. We stopped by last night and it was closed even though it said open online.

13/11/2025: We had three excellent pizzas, well-cooked, with quality ingredients. The staff was friendly, polite, and helpful. Cute place, I'd say it was a great experience.

27/01/2026: Good even if the wait times to order are always long... It almost feels like being left there like an ornament. Update, it may be a coincidence but even the breakfast went badly, the cream brioche I had was filled with just a teaspoon of cream, I asked the barista if it could be refilled, she kindly apologized and fixed it, but the cream was full of lumps, with a floury consistency and almost no sugar.

18/01/2026: I remembered the price being high, but that's understandable sometimes. My girlfriend and I ordered two crepes. One with Nutella and a scoop of hazelnut ice cream, and the other with custard. Well, two empty crepes arrived. Folded in four and decorated with a drizzle of Nutella only on top, nothing inside, not even a scoop of ice cream. We pointed out that the ice cream was completely missing and were told they'd forgotten to tell us it was out. So we asked for a little cream instead (well, the cream was added). What struck me most, however, was that one of the waitresses would start rolling out the crepe dough, but to garnish them (if you can call it that), an older woman, definitely the owner, would always come in and dust a drop of Nutella from a half-empty jar, only after folding the empty crepes several times. I didn't want to point out the full price despite the lack of ice cream or the additional charge for the cream because 1) I would have had to complain about the almost complete lack of any other toppings despite the exorbitant price; 2) it wouldn't have made sense to embarrass the young waitresses who were simply serving politely and obligingly, given that the supposed owner had already disappeared. In short: €17.30 for two empty crepes. For the same money, we could have eaten two delicious pizzas! Or, for €4 each, at any other bar, two at least decent crepes. We certainly won't be returning to Riva Est.

05/01/2026: Excellent risotto with mushrooms. Pizza very nice. Highly recommended restaurant. Rapid service.

31/12/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and it welcomed us despite the late lunch hour. A warm and pleasant atmosphere, good food prepared simply, and pleasant service. It will be our go-to place when we pass through Pallanza.

22/09/2025: We got two salads. Small and without dressing. Which would be ok if they cost less. One of them had an unripe pear and the other had dried out chicken. Our neighbours had hot meals and they looked better though.

18/12/2025: An excellent restaurant, excellent cuisine, impeccable service, and professionalism first and foremost. I've eaten there twice recently and it's always perfect. Excellent wines. An added value in Intra. Well done.

20/11/2025: I really like this restaurant, with its pleasant atmosphere. You always feel special. Every dish is perfectly prepared and presented, and the flavor is excellent. The service is very attentive. I tried the restaurant's appetizers, tagliata and octopus. Excellent quality and rich in flavor.

12/07/2025: Nothing special, though it's important to have a bar in the area. The brioche isn't good, and the slot machines should be eliminated...they're not good for people or the area.

09/01/2026: The food is all good, I love coming to eat here with my friends, but there's one problem, there's a muscular waiter who stares at me insistently every time I come, it's uncomfortable and annoying, I almost wouldn't come again for him, and I'm 13 years old.
