03/09/2024: On a warm summer evening we ate outside the restaurant, with a glimpse of the lake. Good food, well presented, and the waitress was very kind even though she had a lot to do and was alone. Careful and attentive service. Worth a stop.

29/08/2024: We were in Il Portale in June and are still talking about this restaurant, so it’s about time to write a review. We totally loved it here, cosy restaurant with a view of the lake, delicious food en very friendly service. The lady who served us spoke very well English en explained all the local specialties on the menu. She had a lot of knowledge about her products and you could see she was very proud of them. We loved the slow cooked egg with the local mountain cheese, the risotto with ossobuco and the home made bread of long fermentation with the delicious olive oil from Sicily! @Restorante Il Portale: We would be very happy if you could share with us the name of that olive oil , since we have been thinking about it ever since. Thank you 🙏!

20/08/2024: Were there before opening at 6:30 p.m. And we were able to order straight away. Very polite and accommodating. Had pizza 🍕 ordered/quick/quality top. 👌. Incl. Prices are good. 🤘

19/08/2024: We've been getting our pizza from speedy on every vacation for 4 years now. Went to the restaurant for dinner for the first time yesterday and, as always, the service was very friendly and warm. The additional orders for the selected pizza were also no problem and the on top price is perfectly fine and the prices are generally moderate. A good pizza here starts at €7.50. I can only recommend the pizzeria. Very nice family-run company. Food, service and prices are really worth 5 stars 🌟. It's not on the promenade but a bit hidden but it's worth the walk there. All in all, it's worth going there as it's an honest pizzeria and doesn't rip off tourists. To the family/team please keep it up.

10/08/2024: Really very good ice cream. A bit hidden in a side street, but definitely worth a visit. You feel a bit like you're in mass processing, which is certainly the case. However, due to the high frequency, it cannot be presented any other way for the operators. The ladies behind the display are very keen to help even if you have language difficulties. Overall we were very satisfied.

16/08/2024: Very nice address for an Italian cuisine restaurant: careful and pleasant service, quality products, very nice terrace on a square set back from the quays and cars: we ate very well and had a very nice evening. To recommend without hesitation!

15/08/2024: We had a very nice meal in the Bottega. We were there early because we wanted to take the ferry ⛴️ to Laveno. We were welcomed very friendly by the boss. The menu is very varied without being suspiciously long. The service was impeccable. Also worth mentioning is the location on a nice piazza, away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. We'll definitely go again.

Davor Gruß aus der Küche mit leckerem Omelette: liebevoll angerichtet und gastfreundlich serviert. Im Übrigen mehrsprachig.

16/08/2024: Ci siamo fermati per caso durante un giro in moto. Situato in piazzetta al centro di Intra, fronte lago. Staff educato che non perde tempo. Non avendo pranzato mi sono lanciata su una spettacolare sfoglia con “tartare piemontese, cipolla rossa caramellata…”. Spero di poter tornare per provare altre proposte. Bravi.

10/08/2024: Dieser Lokal ist nicht schlecht. Das Essen ist einfach. Man muss kein grosses Abendessen erwarten. Die Bedienung ist nett. Es gibt einen Laden zum Restaurant, der vom Chef betrieben wird. Er ist leider sehr unanständig und primitiv. Wenn man ihn eine Frage stellt wird man vom ihm niedergemacht, wenn er die Antwort nicht weiss. Ich gehe nie mehr dorthin.

15/08/2024: Virkelig lækkert og veltilberedt mad. God og venlig betjening. Hyggelig og stemningsfuld atmosfære. Hvis mam ønsker at spise der efter kl 21 bør man reservere et nord.
