24/09/2025: A classic yet well-organized restaurant, the owner is extremely kind, very clear, and helpful in explaining the dishes. We had everything from appetizers to dessert, everything excellent and carefully prepared. The wine was also good (white in our case). Tagliatelle with rabbit ragù 🔝 If you're passing through, stop at Pinin... try it and believe it! Highly recommended!!!

08/09/2025: We hadn't been back here for a long time and I have to say we were very happy! The Pinin appetizer was simply fabulous🫶 the first courses were also excellent, champagne and porcini mushroom risotto and gorgonzola gnocchi... Delicious desserts😜 divinely eaten in a beautiful setting 💕 thanks to the staff, Angelo and especially to Cristiane who was good and very nice 🤗🔋 Thank you very much and see you soon!!!!

29/06/2025: Dining at Olina was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with a refined yet relaxed atmosphere that made us feel instantly comfortable. The service was outstanding — friendly, professional, and attentive without being intrusive. The menu offered a fantastic selection of dishes, and every plate we tried was a masterpiece. Fresh ingredients, rich flavors, and beautiful presentation made the meal truly unforgettable. The [insert favorite dish] was a standout! Olina Restaurant is a gem — perfect for a special occasion or simply enjoying a high-quality meal. We left happy, full, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommended!

13/06/2025: The cooking is still done by hand and with a lot of imagination. The prices are fair and absolutely reasonable. I had tortelloni filled with pumpkin and amatetto filling. My wife had catfish dumplings with polenta. The starter, a perch fillet with dried zucchini, was free... Also free were the faces of the Teutons who expected something different on their plates.

20/07/2025: Wooow! No teníamos expectativas - acabamos de llegar a la ciudad después de un viaje muy largo - era un domingo, así que muchos de los restaurantes cerraron. Aparcamos justo fuera de la puerta - y éramos el único. El chef tradujo toda la tarjeta del menú - y donde había un problema “Google” lo manejó 😉 Todos ( 3 ) pedimos diferentes comidas -normalmente NUNCA tengo un entrante Y también un postre, pero después de las dos primeras comidas tenía tanta curiosidad que NECESITABA el postre - y no me decepcionó! (Tenía el “tiramisu”) pero los otros postres eran igualmente buenos! Tuve una buena botella de Chianti Classico 2021 - que era perfecto y un moscato de asti para postre - delicioso! !! Podría ser porque solo estábamos nosotros ahí dentro - pero el buen ROCK/POP estaba sonando encantador a todo volumen desde los altavoces - lo cual fue GENIAL! Sin duda volveremos a hacer esto la próxima vez que estemos aquí!

30/07/2025: I'm updating my review after 6 years: I've been back several times and can confirm that I've always been greeted with warmth, professionalism, and the quality of the food is unmatched in the entire province. And I'm someone who enjoys good food! Highly recommended for couples, workers, families, and even for anyone looking to treat themselves.

11/09/2025: I've been to Trattoria Da Bisu in Novara and I can say it was a real pleasure! Even though the restaurant was very crowded, they seated us very quickly, about 5 minutes, which demonstrates exceptional organization and hospitality. The service was excellent in every way: the staff was friendly, efficient, and attentive to the customers' needs. The quality of the food was excellent, as was the quantity, and the prices were truly reasonable. We ate well and abundantly without spending a fortune! But what made the experience even more special was talking to the owner, a woman of Sardinian origins who loves her job and does it with passion and high professionalism. It was a pleasure talking with her and learning the story behind the restaurant. In short, I highly recommend Trattoria Da Bisu to anyone in Novara, especially if you're very hungry! The quality-price ratio is excellent, and the service is welcoming and professional. Well done everyone!

30/08/2025: A classic local trattoria with a set menu, a wide selection (more of a second course than a first course), and an unrivaled value these days (the steak alone was worth the price of the entire meal). My only complaint is the potatoes, which, in my opinion, should be cooked more. Definitely worth returning if in the area.

06/10/2025: Poached eggs with fried porcini mushrooms on a pumpkin cream dish. Two eggs and four porcini mushrooms are already way overpriced. The execution is even lower. The porcini mushrooms were breaded, so the mushroom flavor was gone, and the poached eggs arrived already broken. A mush with pumpkin fondue. If I break them at home, I'll eat them anyway; they can't be presented like this at a restaurant.

01/10/2025: Work dinner with colleagues. The tartare appetizer was excellent, but the sauce was too strong. The cheek was very tender, but the sauce was still too strong. It's probably their trademark. The wine was very good. The plinths were good, but the chives on top were a shame. For dessert, the crème brulee was below average. I should have had the tiramisu. In conclusion, a recommended place if you're not too demanding. The food was average, and the price was slightly high.

05/10/2025: Good food and excellent service, courtesy and professionalism. The service is attentive and customer-focused, which is my second-most important concern after quality. I highly recommend it.

27/08/2025: I visited La Darbia for lunch. The place is stunning, nestled in nature, with breathtaking views over Lake Orta. The style blends perfectly with the surroundings. The food is made with top-quality ingredients, and the vegetables come from the on-site garden, which you can even see while dining. You can opt for a 5-course tasting menu, with the option to add the chef's signature dishes (around €100 each, portions for two). We went à la carte. The quality and taste of the dishes are undeniably high, but the portions are quite small. So either keep the prices with larger portions, or lower the prices while keeping the dishes small, allowing you to try more items; at the moment, they feel more like “bites” than full courses. Aside from this, the place is absolutely worth a visit: both the food and the view make the trip worthwhile—maybe next time staying in one of the suites for the full experience. Let me start by saying that I was here for lunch and did not stay at the hotel. The location is beautiful, surrounded by nature, with a breathtaking view of Lake Orta. The style blends perfectly with the surrounding environment. The food uses the highest quality ingredients, and the vegetables come from the garden, which is visible even while you eat. You can choose a five-course tasting menu, with the option of adding the chef's signature dishes (about €100 each, portions for two). We opted for the à la carte option. The quality and flavor of the dishes are unquestionable, truly top-notch, but the portions are too small, especially considering they aren't part of the tasting menu but were chosen à la carte. So either they maintain these prices with larger portions, or they lower the prices by keeping the dishes small so you can also try other dishes; for now, we can consider them more like "bites" than actual courses. This detail aside, the place is definitely worth a visit: the quality and view are worth the trip, perhaps in the future staying in one of the suites to enjoy the full experience.

25/08/2025: Not worth the price. The chef’s tasting menu consisted only of vegetarian dishes, save for the last dish of the night. That’s great if you like vegetarian food, not so if you’re a meat eater, also not so for the price. The cocktails were superb. Everything else was just okay - lacking in depth. Food aside, the service was lovely (the blankets provided were divine) and the setting was beautiful. Would I go back? Maybe but stay away from the chef’s table - it’s was not worth it in our minds.
