17/09/2025: Wide verity of Frankonian beers, original draft beers and bottles, including the original Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier from Bamberg! Tasty Pork ribs, Schweinshaxe, and side dishes for the beer. Very good service and atmosphere.

15/09/2025: The staff was very friendly, the food was served quickly, and the service was comprehensive! It's the perfect place to relax after a walk by the lake. They have affordable drinks and food, and the beer is delicious!

18/10/2025: A ten-day vacation in places I know very well. I remembered the two brothers who ran it many years ago, very kind.

25/10/2025: A very nice restaurant in the center of Novara. Excellent food, with attention to detail and high quality. Lovely people, friendly staff, and courteous service. Highly recommended are the caramelized pumpkin with shrimp, the veal with tuna sauce, the octopus, and the prawns. Prices are reasonable considering the excellent value. The restaurant got very noisy when a table of fifteen arrived, and since the restaurant is quite small, it was difficult to communicate. For two, we spent €115, including a bottle of wine. Recommended for a romantic and chic dinner for two.

18/07/2025: A pizzeria that has made history for so many! My high school friends and I have been coming here since 1992, and the menu is always the same: mother-in-law pizza, medium beer, and meringue pie! Unfortunately, at the end of July 2025, it will close forever!! 😭😭 Thanks anyway for the excellent pizza all these years!!!

07/06/2025: Pessimo! E non è la prima volta che succede! Chiamiamo per ordinare 2 pizze con consegna a domicilio e chiedo per che ora avrebbero potuto consegnarle. Dopo averci indicato un orario per noi “accettabile” (avevamo altri impegni dopo cena quindi, in caso, avremmo ordinato in un’altra pizzeria) confermiamo l’ordine. Dopo 40 minuti dall’orario di teorica consegna, chiamo per chiedere aggiornamenti e mi dicono che non avevano ancora fatto le pizze e che ci sarebbero voluti altri 40/45 minuti!!! Assurdo! E se non avessi chiamato io, non si sarebbero nemmeno premurati di avvisarci! No comment! Se non siete in grado di gestire il numero di ordinazioni evitate di prenderle!

16/11/2025: The place is very welcoming, decorated in a style that is both rustic and contemporary, very original, clean, and well-maintained. The owner's welcome is very pleasant, with a smile, courtesy, and friendliness. The small menu features fresh, regional dishes, with the chef's work of very high quality—a real treat from start to finish. The price-quality ratio is good; perhaps (but I'm a real foodie) I would have greatly appreciated 10-15% more on the plate. It was adequate, but just barely. The only real drawback, in my opinion, was the young waitress. Polite and professional, certainly, but distant, exuding no warmth or friendliness. At one point, she even sat at the very top of the steps overlooking the dining room, feet firmly planted on the ground and arms crossed in front of her (a defensive posture), remaining motionless for at least five minutes, boredly observing the room like a soldier. I strongly sensed her displeasure at being there with us, the customers. What a shame. Nevertheless, aside from this minor setback, I recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through Arona; it's well worth it!

09/11/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance while traveling to Lake Orta and stayed one night. What a surprise! The atmosphere is reminiscent of the 1960s, with its own charm, but the highlights are the one-person staff and the menu. A gentleman who took care of everything while we were there (reception, waiter for dinner, breakfast) was uniquely kind and affable, a kindness from another era. And the dinner was astonishingly delicious and, frankly, unexpected.

10/07/2025: The kitchen is closed during the week. It's a shame. The friendly staff could help us out with some simple toast, though.

21/09/2025: The place is beautiful and quaint, the dishes are refined and delicious, the only real flaw is that the service was extremely slow. We ordered the first course at 1:00 PM and ate two courses in an hour and a half. Finally, we ordered dessert and coffee, but after a 20-minute wait, we forgot about dessert and waited another 15 minutes for coffee. Two hours is definitely too long to eat two courses. This is why it's given a one-star review. Plus, you can't pay by credit card, only cash. I can't recommend the place.

15/08/2025: The single star is due to a single incident that I find particularly unpleasant. Even on the phone (for dinner), the lady specifically stated...cash payments ONLY... I don't think it's a coincidence, but rather a standard practice (confirmed by a friend who was there for lunch on a weekday). I don't think this is acceptable in 2025; the option of electronic payment must be guaranteed.

27/09/2025: We found it online, a nice family-run place, good lunch (a place for a break. Lunch, but with a variety of choices). Highly recommended.
