27/03/2025: Fantastic bar both for the environment and for the duality that characterizes it, during the day an excellent bar where they serve various "flavoured" coffees such as: pistachio coffee, salted caramel and amaretto; in addition to the typical frothed/corrected coffees. The brioches are excellent and with a generous filling, even with pistachio cream. Also excellent for a lunch break, a snack or even a dinner thanks to the collaboration with the pizzeria next door "io, mammta e tu", and while sitting comfortably at the bar you can order: Pizzas, Panuozzi, Salads, Piadine or Rotolacci and compose them as you wish. In the evening, however, it is a perfect and excellent Gintoneria which presents a vast collection of Gins of all origins, qualities and characteristics. Despite being a Gintoneria, the classic drinks, but not only that, are excellent thanks to the expert bartenders. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very welcoming and warm, almost like being with family. The place is frequented by very quiet and friendly people, therefore excellent for spending a quiet and fun afternoon or evening. Obviously the various services offered can be used at any time of the day; So why not go and eat a pizza or a Panuozzo while sipping an excellent Gin or an excellent beer. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

14/07/2025: Very friendly, typical and above all very well-equipped little town! I would like to give a huge thumbs up for having made bins available almost everywhere, which fortunately forces tourists to respect them! I was afraid of walking around the lake and I must say that I was surprisingly surprised by the facilities!!!! Tourists are spoiled! The little tourist train, nice! And above all very practical! The island to visit, a haven of peace!!! Very quick crossing by small boat, with very friendly and attentive staff. Small downside.... There are many restaurants, menus and drinks that are decent, but from the start and automatically we are spoken to in English, whereas it would be more pleasant in Italian!!!!

05/10/2025: It's not my habit to give a negative review, nor to give too much weight to other people's reviews... but after my experience at the Lord Byron in Novara, I understand why it's one of the least starred restaurants in the area. I was at the Lord Byron in Novara this evening with my girlfriend. Upon arrival, we asked for a table for two for dinner. We were told that only the pub area was available, but we decided to stay anyway. They sat us down and brought us the menu, which, surprisingly, was a restaurant menu. Already, I was a bit perplexed. While looking at the menu, we noticed that many of the pizzas didn't include tomato sauce as a main ingredient. I asked the waiter if this was normal and if it was possible to add it. He kindly replied that it was no problem, so we ordered two pizzas, asking for tomato sauce. The pizzas arrived well, but the taste was excellent. However, when I got the bill, I discovered that the tomato sauce had been added as an "add-on" at €2 per pizza, on pizzas that were originally €10. I brought this to the attention of both the waiter, who said he couldn't do anything, and the owner, who was rather surly, claiming that it was perfectly normal for him to charge for tomato sauce as an extra, even though most pizzas on the menu didn't have it. Personally, I found this behavior unfair and inconsistent with the very idea of ​​pizza, given that tomato is one of the basic ingredients. The attitude and handling of the bill ruined what could have been a pleasant experience.

06/09/2025: We had lunch on a beautiful day at a lakeside restaurant. Everything was fine, except for the waitress's haste, who explicitly asked us to vacate the table.

12/08/2025: Honestly, I've never found myself in such a bad situation before... The service was very poorly managed, we waited half an hour to receive half the dishes we requested, but there was a lot of confusion among the staff, in fact we didn't receive everything even though we had only chosen 15. For two more people, we noticed that the same situation was happening at other tables... In short, I'd say it wasn't a good experience... and to think that it was only a Tuesday and that there were few places to manage, it's a shame...

07/06/2025: I have rarely left a dinner in a restaurant so enthusiastic. Memorable lampredotto and rice with squid ink. As a term of comparison 20 days ago we went to the excellent 2 star Davide Oldani, this evening we ate much better. Balanced dishes but not at all predictable, a mix of innovative and decisive flavors but not excessive. From a lover and practically of home cooking and traditional dishes, raised in a family where we have always eaten well talking about future menus; all my compliments to the chef, tonight I ate much better than at home.

20/08/2025: A wonderful place to stop for a coffee with exquisite homemade pastries. The waitresses are very attentive. The cakes are baked downstairs in their own oven.

12/10/2025: Everything was excellent, the service was quick and the atmosphere was not at all noisy, minimal but comfortable.
