30/08/2025: The product was quite good and the staff were friendly, but the person who served me handled food and money indiscriminately. Wearing blue latex gloves and using the same gloves to serve people, touching their food, and taking their money without ever changing gloves between customers is simply not an option! I recommend using tweezers.

13/08/2025: I'll start by saying I bought brioches from a bakery, not a pastry shop, but even though I wasn't expecting the best, I was quite disappointed. The brioches, in my opinion, don't qualify as brioches; they look more like prepackaged products... The filling is only on the surface, with barely any filling inside. The cream is passed off as pastry cream, but it has nothing to do with real cream. It's a shame; I'm sure they're very savory, but in my experience, the brioches are decidedly poor.

09/10/2025: Very friendly staff, excellent location. The only flaw: the mosquitoes, so many, never happened on Lake Maggiore. They gave us mosquito coils and mosquito repellent, but the tables next to us had to be moved because they couldn't eat due to the excessive number of mosquitoes. For the price, I personally would get mosquito repellent. As for the food, the fish is incredibly fresh, I highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back.

13/09/2025: A charming spot halfway between Stresa and Arona, a very elegant and charming venue with a breathtaking view. I was also surprised by the almost excellent Neapolitan pizza, the generous aperitif, and, surprise, surprise: truly competitive prices. What more could I ask for? Next time I'll definitely try a full dinner and hope the venue lives up to expectations. Ultimately: highly recommended.

27/09/2025: We've been there three times for pizza. We've had a great time every time; the pizzas are good, with a variety of doughs and gluten-free options. Good service, nice location.

14/09/2025: The Grill Inn was my first meal when considering a move to the area and it remains among my favorite when in the Lake Maggiore area. The staff is delightful and remains helpful while my Italian improves. The atmosphere, the food and the pricing is tough to beat! You won't be disappointed! 💕

Diego gave us the back room that looks out onto the outside, he put some tables outside and a large table to put all the food on, we brought a box, decorated everything a bit and the party was wonderful! The young and smiling staff was always kind and attentive! What a wonderful staff!!! Thank you so much to everyone, from the warm focaccias to the delicious pizza and the delicious meatballs!!! A super birthday!!! We sang and danced all evening! The location was top notch but above all the fantastic staff!!! Thanks for everything!!! Diego you are the best!!!!

15/07/2025: I stayed in Fara Novarese for 6 days and visited this excellent pastry shop/café every day. It was a truly pleasant discovery: excellent soy cappuccino and brioche, as well as a wide selection of other drinks and various pastries and cakes. The staff is courteous, professional, and welcoming. The place also has an outdoor space in the back, where I was able to work peacefully on my computer for a few hours. If I were to return to this area, I would definitely stop by again!

06/10/2025: The food was very good, the place is very large, the service is good, and the food is plentiful. The service is not bad and they are friendly.

05/10/2025: I was there a few weeks ago after a long time... It was better if I didn't go back, honestly. Risotto with porcini mushrooms and tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms were beyond words. The chicken main course was also delicious... €80 for two people, never again.

Special thanks to Riccardo, who looked after us all evening with expertise and kindness, and who even helped us give a group of Canadian friends the best advice by explaining the main dishes in English! Truly brilliant!

31/07/2025: I returned to the Hosteria after a while, and I must say that both the quality and the atmosphere are still the same as I fondly remembered. I ate one of their summer classics, the "Fassona Surprise," a mountain of homemade #roastbeef on a bed of cherry tomatoes, Taggiasca olives, and arugula—truly delicious. I drank an excellent Poretti 6luppoli beer and relaxed in the very comfortable atmosphere. I recommend it to anyone who loves good meat and delicious dishes.

30/09/2025: I ordered a cake for my son's baptism, and I must say that the owner and his staff were immediately very attentive to my requests and were happy to fulfill them as best they could (even though I was there on a Sunday, which meant I had a lot of work to do). The cake was delicious and light!

10/10/2025: Don't be fooled by the slightly dated interior. The food is excellent, the service is excellent, and the prices are good. Highly recommended, for example, for a day at the Vicolungo outlet.
