15/01/2026: I visited with my friend Daniele. Since we're not from the area, we booked quickly, and I must say we were greeted warmly, with warmth and professionalism. The place is very welcoming, and it's exactly what you'd expect if you want a cheerful dinner with good food and wine. The girl who served us was incredibly friendly. Thanks for everything. It was a lovely evening.

15/01/2026: After 6 hours of riding in the cold, we stumbled upon this place to eat and drink something typical... and here is this cute place, where a friendly waitress welcomed us, we ordered a tagliata and a cheek in Barolo, for the wine the owner came over and recommended a wine... excellent advice... a perfect wine with the meat, good good... the meat? Superlative... perhaps the best tagliata I've ever eaten! Even the cheek was top! We discovered that it is a family-run place! From the welcome to the dishes, everything was perfect! I highly recommend it. I would definitely go back! Well done... compliments to the waitress's brother who is in the kitchen and it is he who prepares those delicacies! oh I forgot... the charcuterie board! excellent! In short, everything was perfect.. thanks and well done guys!

06/01/2026: A very characteristic restaurant in the center of Alba, with a subterranean stone room with brick vaults and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I had the 30-yolk tajarin with white truffle: simply excellent, perfect pasta and top-quality truffle.

30/12/2025: Chic space, awesome wine & the best Tajarin with truffles during my entire trip. Service-wise, it was ok- one mean and very pushy woman nearly ruined the meal. Food was excellent so I’d go back for sure.

23/01/2026: Excellence in hospitality and authentic flavors in the heart of Alba. We dined at Il Cortiletto d’Alba restaurant, and the experience was immediately top-notch. We were greeted with impeccable grace and efficiency by a young waitress who welcomed us with great professionalism. The real added value, however, was meeting a very kind lady who explained the menu to us. More than just a reading of the dishes, it was a passionate account of the ingredients: she provided us with detailed information on the provenance of the ingredients, all of which were of the highest quality. From the famous Entracque potatoes to the delicacy of the black truffle, to the organic vegetables, every element exuded freshness and local tradition. What truly struck us—and almost embarrassed by how rare it is these days—was the lady's attention and extreme kindness; a thoughtfulness that makes the guest feel truly special. In the kitchen, the ingredients are treated with respect: the dishes are flavorful and balanced, showcasing each individual ingredient without overpowering it. A valuable tip: the restaurant is very popular, so booking in advance is highly recommended. Although we didn't, we were lucky: thanks to their exceptional helpfulness and courtesy, they managed to find us two seats despite being sold out. The price was more than fair. We'll definitely be back. A big shout out to all the staff: really well done!

08/03/2026: It's a shame to write this, but it's true. We went there as a last resort, as it was the one and only place in Alba that had a table for two available on a Sunday evening... and given how the evening went, it was a blessing in disguise! A top food and wine experience! The wine cellar is exceptional, the ingredients are spectacular, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and competent. Thank you for giving us the last table.

07/03/2026: My partner and I went there on Friday evening. What can I say? Everything was excellent. From the location to the food to the service. A dream wine list. 100 pages of tablets with an incredible selection of local wines. I was especially struck by the great honesty in the wine prices; I was amazed by the wide variety at truly fair prices. Everything else was also honest, and the service was very kind and attentive, truly pleasant. What can I say... highly recommended.

16/12/2025: Simply an extraordinary experience. On Saturday evening, we had dinner at this restaurant in Alba, and everything was impeccable, from start to finish. To start, we had the poached egg with black truffle: fragrant, delicate, and truly sublime. We then sampled a Fassona beef tartare with black truffle, excellent, made with the highest-quality ingredients. Next, we shared a plate of tajerin with white truffle, pure poetry: perfect pasta, and the truffle was the star. For our second course, we chose the cheek with white truffle, incredibly tender and rich in flavor, melting in the mouth. Our other dish was a Fassona beef tagliata with white truffle, cooked to perfection and truly memorable. We ate like a god, one of the best dinners in recent memory. Special praise also goes to the waitress who served us: kind, professional, attentive, and capable of making us feel pampered throughout the evening. A restaurant that showcases truffles and local cuisine to the fullest. We will definitely be back and I recommend it without a doubt.

30/11/2025: Alba is a place rich in culinary offerings: it's hard to stand out. This restaurant, however, is worth a try: local dishes are carefully prepared and served with attention. A good selection of wines. Friendly service without being overbearing.

09/02/2026: We came here for dinner and were very impressed. The place is elegant and refined, perfect for an intimate dinner. The food was very good and the service was excellent. We highly recommend it.

25/01/2026: Dining at l'inedito is a warm caress on a cold day. The expertly prepared dishes transform simple flavors into true explosions of flavor on the palate. Truffles are served generously, and the vast selection of wines allows for a wide range of tastes. And the caress continues with the bread and breadsticks. Their charcoal-baked focaccia is spectacular. Soft and with a grain of salt on the surface balancing the sweetness, it transforms it into an unexpected treat. We ordered a Barbera d'Asti, which paired with the venison enhanced its flavor, sweetness, and aromas. Their desserts are not to be missed: the Barolo tiramisu, with its crunchy note, transforms the strong flavor of the Barolo into a perfectly balanced sweetness. The golden egg, on the other hand, is beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. A spectacle of flavor. I'll save my comment on the wait staff for last. If eating at L'Inedito is a warm caress, the wait staff is the blanket that warms you. Always attentive, with a constant presence but never intrusive. They are ninjas! The bread appeared on its own!!! Highly recommended!

11/12/2025: The restaurant is located downtown, with convenient parking nearby. The decor is minimal: no tablecloths on the table, dark napkins, cutlery on a stand, bread (homemade) served on a small plate, breadsticks (they shouldn't be served if broken).... As I mentioned to the person who brought me a dish, there are many obstacles to a proper wine analysis, but what wines! The cellar is truly extensive and ranges from every angle. I had a rabbit tuna dish (€12), well-made, and agnolotti al plin with a pumpkin and chestnut filling, and a Raschera cheese fondue, for which I asked for a supplement, to nicely contrast the sweetness of the filling (€13). I was in a hurry and skipped dessert. Covers €2, half a liter of water €2, a quarter of red wine - Dolcetto di Dogliani - €6 (other wines by the glass range from €6 and up), for a total of €35. The service was fast, paid with Satispay. We'll return because the cuisine is interesting, the portions are just right, and the customer service is attentive.

The room was beautiful, spacious, super clean, and equipped with a spa: a real added bonus. The emotional shower was simply wow. Dinner was also excellent. The meat was delicious, perfectly cooked, with generous portions and high quality. Special thanks to Jonny, the grill master, who gave us expert advice and then cooked a truly top-notch meat. The staff welcomed us as if we were at home: everyone was super kind and helpful. Jimmi, in particular, in the dining room, was excellent, very kind, friendly, and professional. Impeccable service. Excellent breakfast, with a wide selection of both savory and sweet options, everything very good.
