12/08/2025: I stumbled upon Bove's tonight and was so happy!!! Delicious food, friendly staff, and a super fun atmosphere. Highly recommended 😍😍

09/08/2025: August 9th, 35 degrees, I visit the city, beautiful! I'm wrong to sit here with my little bottle of fresh water I just bought. I order wine and a tartare. They ask me if I'd like water, I reply that I'll drink what I have with me, nothing says that I won't have more during the meal. But the owner replies annoyed that you don't sit in a restaurant with your own water. I'm speechless, it's never happened to me and I don't like arguing. If you're required to buy water at every meal, bring it to the table and charge with the cover charge. Otherwise, save it and don't waste it, half the planet is dying of thirst! I'll come back to visit you, thanks for everything.

06/07/2025: Fine dining, prepared with great attention to detail and the finest ingredients. A constantly changing menu. A pleasant atmosphere in a central location with charming service. Prices are rather high for Alba, making it a truly unique experience.

20/07/2025: Chosen for its high ratings, the food was disappointing...the pasta was under-seasoned and flavorless, and the meat was also bland. The staff didn't ask about their satisfaction with the leftovers. It's a shame because expectations were high.

24/08/2025: We had dinner with friends. The staff were friendly and the place was quiet in the center of town. The tagliolini with truffles were delicious, paired with a nice bottle of Nebbiolo. Highly recommended!

31/08/2025: We came from the Monza area specifically to try this restaurant. First-rate service, excellent ingredients expertly cooked, and the owners are incredibly friendly and make you feel at ease: it's just like experiencing one of their YouTube videos firsthand. The menu, which changes constantly throughout the year, will definitely make us return when we're in the area again. Thank you for everything!

31/08/2025: Simply spectacular. Chef Andrea Larossa, it was a pleasure and an honor to meet you in person and try your cuisine. Now, as my wife promised Patty, it's time to try your dinner. The bacon burger was excellent (and crispy 😁), the coppa piacentina was melting, the ventricina abruzzese was just the right amount of spicy, and the mortadella was equally good. The pain au chocolat was so good, and the croissant was equally good. The octopus with potatoes and peppers was spectacular. The tiramisu waffle was strange, in a good way, but the cream on top was addictive. As someone would say: "I like it! 10 out of 10!" Thanks again for the experience; you are wonderful people, and it shows in the food.

16/08/2025: Honorable mention goes to the girl serving tables, who is very nice and courteous. Let's draw a veil over the rest. The place is full of paintings of flowers, but in my opinion, they don't justify the excessive presence of flies. We ordered two Coca-Cola Zeros with ice and lemon, and one of the glasses had a terrible garlicky smell; I still wonder why. The waiter arrived with a bottle in hand and a welcome appetizer of pizza triangles (dry, with raw, unseasoned tomato sauce). He asked if we'd like a glass of wine to accompany the aperitif, which I gladly accepted, not realizing it would be added to the bill at €7 (probably the cost of the entire bottle, VAT included). Stupid me for thinking a welcome was offered. The fries (which we bought while we waited) and pizza were absolutely mediocre, like those of any takeout pizzeria. The build-your-own pizza system is nice, but the prices need to be reconsidered. €47 for two pizzas, one Margherita, a chip, a water, an unsolicited glass of wine, and two Coca-Colas seems decidedly excessive to me.

10/08/2025: There was the best customer service we received during our entire holiday in Italy. The pizzas were absolutely delicious. ☺️ Greetings from a couple from Finland!

15/06/2025: Following the advice of a local friend, we tried this restaurant and I was really surprised. Not so much for the wine list, which is already highly praised for its variety and quality, but above all for the excellence of the cuisine. The first courses, of which we tasted the entire proposal, were simply devastating: the filling of the plin was amazing, and the sauce of the agnolotti with 3 roasts was a real explosion of taste. To finish, a perfect panna cotta, made according to tradition. For three, with 3 appetizers, 3 first courses, 1 second course, 2 desserts and 3 bottles of wine, we spent €300, an absolutely honest price. The only complaint concerns the service: we waited a bit too long to be served and the wine list arrived a bit late. But despite this, the final rating is maximum!

19/08/2025: A hot evening at the beginning of August in ALBA where we discovered this beautiful place and where I reconciled myself with the black truffle... Bilingual staff and very welcoming owner! We opted for a Dogliani Superiore to accompany my "brasato di manzo al Barolo" and the "battuta di carne cruda all'Albese con tartufo Nero" EXCELLENT and can't wait to come back.

13/08/2025: A place from another era. The handwritten menu on the placemats is iconic. The wait is quite long, the food simple and unfussy, and the portions are decidedly generous.

11/08/2025: A typical Italian restaurant in Alba. Typical dishes, generous portions. I recommend the tajarin with ragù and the mixed antipasti. Fast and informal service.

03/08/2025: This place wins with its location and outstanding service. The food was good but could taste more and the meat dish was unfortunately a bit dry so the food could definitely get an upgrade. All and all.. a nice place to spend your evening with friends and family.

01/08/2025: Very good tomato sauce pasta. Very friendly staff. Nice place to sit, on the square outside the church. Everyone was very happy with the food and wine. Extremely large wine list.
