Inside this trattoria, time seems to have stood still in the 1980s. Even the cuisine is reminiscent of those years. The extensive menu offers truly interesting dishes (like the teal), but it's the top-quality seafood that truly stands out. Prices are well above average for trattorias, but it's a good choice for seafood lovers.

Located in a small but beautiful village called Costabissara. We stayed at this trattoria, and the rooms were immaculate and very clean. But the most fantastic thing is the restaurant itself: the food is divine, with local dishes beautifully prepared and served.

The restaurant's distinctive feature lies in the exceptional helpfulness and attentiveness of its staff. The staff operates with a natural cordiality, ensuring a level of attention to guests that never seems forced, but rather the fruit of a consolidated aptitude for hospitality. Even in a large group like ours, the attentiveness remained constant. You also sense a constant focus on maintaining a decidedly fair value for money, allowing you to enjoy quality cuisine without overcharging. In a global landscape increasingly oriented toward automation and the pervasive use of artificial intelligence, Trattoria Lovise chooses to maintain a direct, analog working method. Orders are still manually recorded on paper, and payment is subject to a verbal exchange between the cashier and the person who served the table. Far from being a limitation, this operating method seamlessly integrates with the restaurant's aesthetic and the authenticity of the dishes served. It's a choice that prioritizes interpersonal contact over cold digital efficiency, confirming that, in certain contexts, human presence remains the most valuable ingredient.

A quaint, traditional trattoria with a wide-ranging menu and reasonable prices. It's always a pleasure to try the lobster linguine (cooked in a unique way, without tomato sauce and creamy). A must-try on my visits to Vicenza.
