The fish was very fresh, expertly prepared and cooked to perfection, enhancing the delicate flavors of the sea. Each dish was an explosion of freshness and flavor, which truly won us over. Special attention goes to the service, which was impeccable. Mrs. Raffaella welcomed us with rare kindness and treated us with extreme courtesy and professionalism throughout the evening. She was truly attentive to our needs, recommending the best dishes with a sincere smile, making us customers feel at home. The combination of excellent cuisine and such attentive and warm service made our experience at the restaurant “Da Giorgio” truly memorable. We will definitely return to enjoy such a pleasant dinner again. Highly recommended!

29/03/2025: Esercizio rinomato in zona e così lo abbiamo provato, uno dei 4 ristoranti di Borghese, non essendo riusciti ad accomodarci l'anno scorso senza capire il perché...... Cmq l'attesa è stata ripagata da piatti gustosi e ben preparati, un menù contenuto ma ben abbinato, location confortevole e funzionale, personale gentile e disponibile, il titolare simpatico e verace! La carta dei vini a voce con vista frigo! Una bella realtà in quel di Sottomarina.

29/03/2025: A place very close to Santa Lucía station. A must-stop at this typical tapas bar. We stopped twice for a drink and thought it was very good. The price was around 12 euros for two drinks and a tapa. I recommend it.

27/03/2025: Came on recommendation. But not Roman food at all. And not really related to Italian tastes. The wine was good - red Cabernet Franc. And bread.

25/03/2025: Restaurant specializing in meat from all over the world! The first courses are also excellent. Gnocchi with pork ribs sauce are exceptional. I tried the artichokes alla Giudia (fried) and the stuffed courgette flower, really good. A bottle of Spanish red wine but grown in Lazio, super. To finish, a Saker with zabaglione with a sweet white wine, excellent. I've been there before, I'll go back, it's really worth it.

30/01/2025: La Colombina è un ristorante storico che si trova in una posizione un po' defilata, in un vicoletto nel sestiere di Cannaregio. Il locale non è molto grande e costituito da un’unica sala. L’ambiente è classico, l’atmosfera famigliare e accogliente. Il menù prevede un giusto numero di proposte con grande varietà di cicchetti, portata che va sicuramente tenuta in considerazione per scoprire la varietà della loro cucina ed ordinabile in un diverso numero di assaggi. Buono il cassopipa, piatto tradizionale che non avevo mai assaggiato. Accoglienza e servizio molto cordiali. Prezzi in linea con quelli che si trovano in città. In definitiva la cena presso questo ristorante è stata un’esperienza piacevole e di conseguenza non posso che consigliarlo.

01/01/2025: Cenamos aquí por recomendación de nuestro hotel, y fue la mejor comida (5 días en) de nuestro viaje a Italia hasta ahora! Hicimos una reserva de última hora entrando a pie a las 18 horas (abren para la cena a las 7 ) y preguntando si podíamos hacer una reserva para las 8 : 30 . Los camareros son amables y excepcionalmente amables. Nuestra familia de 3 tenía el vástago de cordero, ñoquis de marisco, y ragout de ternera. Todos fueron increíbles, se derriten en la boca platos. También tuvimos una cata de aceite de oliva como aperitivo que fue divertido, y ensaladas verdes que necesitábamos. Nuestro servidor recomendó un gran vino tinto veneciano, con un precio razonable de $ 44. La comida era tan buena, queríamos probar el postre así que pedí la tarta de queso y el tiramisú para terminar una comida verdaderamente maravillosa!

01/04/2025: Another of places I have been visiting during many years of time. Which is a good thing 😊 Don’t expect any familiar approach of the waiters - they are professional, yet little impersonal. The food has always been good, thought sometimes inconsistent. On my last visit, the house wine was not nice at all. Please do something about it.

06/01/2025: Ristorante diviso in due zone non comunicanti ! Noi abbiamo pranzato nella zona esterna al bar e servizi. Camerieri efficienti. Attenti ma non invadenti. E....finalmente con il cartellino con il nome! Cosa da non sottovalutare per fare lavorare bene ! Cibo ottimo Risotto anche per 1 persona che solitamente non si fa se non in due persone. Location nuova. Cemento e pietre . Sedie molto comode. Spero di tornarci Non ho dato il massimo dei votoi solob per il bagno estero al ristorante.

29/03/2025: Op een stralende dag hier samen lunchen is natuurlijk een feestje. Beeldschoon dakterras op toplocatie met schitterend uitzicht over de lagune. Goed eten kun je op meer plekken, hier kom je voor de unieke plek en de uitstekende service. Danieli is een van de oudste en meest gerenommeerde hotels van Venetië. Op dit dakterras wordt chique geluncht (hoewel niet alle gasten dat begrijpen. Alleen een kop koffie kan niet en dat wordt middels de forse coperta vriendelijk uitgelegd). Ons menu was goed, maar niet heel uitzonderlijk. De vrouwelijke sommelier liet steken vallen: twee van de vier wijnen werden pas ingeschonken toen het gerecht al op tafel stond. En bij de uitleg keek zij alleen mij aan en niet de gastheer: heel ongemakkelijk. De toiletten zijn voorzien van Acqua di Parma ammenities. Let ook op de schitterende glas in lood ramen uit Murano met Venetiaanse voorstellingen, op weg naar het dakterras. Natuurlijk zijn de prijzen hier enorm. Wij hadden een fantastische middag.

12/03/2025: I hadn't been here for a few years and the last time it was summer and we were outside, at one of the tables at the entrance, along the sidewalk. This time we were inside, on a Friday evening, in the room next to the bakery. We wanted to have paella, like last time. But it wasn't that satisfying. Indeed, the impression is that management is starting to get tired. However, it remains a place with a history and a certain charm and the people are courteous and attentive: the service is well done.
