L'Osteria Del Parco In Vecchiano

Dinner for my birthday. After a dip in the sea, we treated ourselves to a mixed fried fish dish at a seaside restaurant. We had mixed fried fish with potatoes and a dessert. The fried fish lacked a bit of bite, and the shrimp were neither peeled nor gutted. Only my husband had dessert, and he enjoyed it.

Very nice place and good food. Be careful with the proseccos by the glass because they cost 7 euros each. So if you take 3 you'll be quicker to take a bottle. For the rest everything is ok, seats inside and outside, fast service, they accept cards.

I've been there three times this summer, and the food has always been excellent. The service is efficient and friendly. The prices aren't cheap, but they're proportionate to the quality. Edit 1/8/2023: Unfortunately, I've noticed a deterioration. The appetizers, while good, were much less generous than before, and my spaghetti with clams and my wife's spaghetti with clams were definitely undercooked ("al dente" is fine, but it needed at least another minute). In my spaghetti, all the clams were in a lump at the bottom; it wouldn't have taken much to stir before serving... well, it's not a serious problem, but it does give a sense of neglect. The desserts were not good at all; my "Dessert del Parco" was definitely worse than what I've had other times, and my wife even had to send back her tiramisu. I don't know if they changed the chef or what, but we're not upset; we left feeling a little disappointed because this had been one of our favorite places for years. On a positive note, the service remained courteous and efficient. I hope for them (and for us) that they can recover. Edit 7/16/2026: Unfortunately, the situation hasn't improved; the spaghetti with clams were full of closed clams, which raises my doubts about their freshness. I pointed this out and they replied that clams are fresh and do this, and—unbelievable!—they couldn't cook them any longer because the pasta would have overcooked. I didn't have the heart to explain to the chef that the clams should be opened separately (and their water filtered), not simply thrown into the pasta pan. I had a hard time digesting them. It's a shame because the location is truly beautiful and the service is courteous, but I fear this will be the last time they see me.

Really good pizza, light and fragrant dough. Low prices and friendly, fast service. Highly recommended.

We stayed 6 days for dinner, fantastic from the very friendly and kind staff, what can I say about the fish we ate in every way, sublime to say the least, pity that we live in Turin, we would be regulars, we will definitely return, thanks to everyone.....👍🥰

The place would certainly have been very nice... it's a shame that in winter everything is closed and the data on Google Maps is not updated.
