28/08/2025: I was with some friends, and we all raved about the dishes they served. I had FABULOUS spaghetti with clams, and a pistachio dessert that was equally delicious. We'll be back from Pisa.

09/08/2026: I think it's the best restaurant I've ever had. Despite having 4-star reviews, we wanted to try it. We had two appetizers and two first courses with water and a glass of Franciacorta. We spent about €150, but believe me, I'd return a thousand times over. The fresh fish they offer is hard to find anywhere else, the customer service is top-notch, and the octopus, in my case, was super fresh and tasty. Not to mention the spaghetti with lobster, which was very good, if not exceptional. I've never eaten so good in my entire life. It will remain our go-to restaurant for when we return to Elba.

07/08/2026: Unfortunately, three out of four dishes didn't taste like much, but the worst part was the rudeness and listlessness of the entire staff. The dining room was completely disorganized. The view is beautiful, but it's not worth the trip up the hill on those extremely difficult roads for driving.

01/08/2026: I ordered paccheri allo scoglio with obviously frozen fish and trofie with shrimp, but there wasn't even one shrimp... there were 5 shrimp, obviously frozen too, on the menu no mention of frozen products, which makes you think it was fresh fish... even from the prices... absolutely not recommended...

25/07/2026: Ordered takeout pizzas to eat on the beach... terrible, the worst I've ever had, the pizza bases were obviously packaged, the dough was similar to Eurospin pizza tongs. They also got the ingredients wrong on one pizza. The fish first and second courses may be good, but DON'T GET THE PIZZA!!! Very beautiful location It overlooks the gulf

12/05/2026: A very distinctive restaurant where the quality and deliciousness of the dishes are truly outstanding, a place where the culture of fresh fish is its true icon. I had never eaten CACIUCCO, being from Rome, and I must say it is truly a triumph of the sea. I also enjoyed the dishes of my other friends: spaghetti with clams and lemon, seafood parcels, squid ink rice, stuffed squid, which are breathtaking just by looking at them. Then there was the friendliness and courtesy of the staff, all exquisitely female... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

07/08/2026: The staff is generally rude, especially the lady at the cash register. Istia is just a few meters away... a whole different story.

17/08/2026: Yesterday we made a reservation for the evening; the reservation was confirmed via WhatsApp. When we arrived, we found it closed!!! We tried calling and texting via WhatsApp: no response. Zero respect for customers.

15/08/2026: Unfortunately, a bad experience. From the menu, I ask for penne with octopus, but it's not there, so I ask for fried anchovies, but that's not the case either. My son asks for tea, but nothing. I choose a schiaccina with prosciutto, arugula, and cherry tomatoes, but it comes with ham and cheese. I point this out, but after 20 minutes, the prosciutto and cheese arrive, so I eat it anyway, so as not to be annoying and think the other ingredients aren't there. Meanwhile, the staff can be heard arguing in the kitchen. The pizzas arrive one at a time, every 5-10 minutes; they're extremely thin, with a very crumbly dough. It's a shame because the waitress was kind enough to bring a bowl of water for the dog, and the slightly hidden setting is pleasant.

17/08/2026: A classic tourist trap, full of show and little substance. The food is mediocre, and you pay for the location. Kudos to the service, however; the staff were very kind and helpful.

17/08/2026: I'll just say it's the worst pizza I've ever eaten. I had the seafood, it was all rubbery and the mussels were so burnt they crumbled on the pizza... oh well.

08/07/2026: Beautiful location, but the experience was terrible. We ordered drinks at the bar and only afterwards were told about all the restrictions. The staff were rude and made us feel completely unwelcome. The security guard kept running after the children, grabbing their attention in a very aggressive way and staring at them in an intimidating manner. He was also carrying what looked like a stun gun, which was very unsettling, especially around children. Instead of enjoying the beach, we felt stressed and uncomfortable. We will definitely not return.

18/02/2026: Beautiful experience with Lorenzo Graniero and the puts like belino eating very good does not lack the entertainment I am sure that little by little it will be 5 stars

16/11/2025: We returned to this restaurant for the second time, but the experience was disappointing. The fixed menu cost €25, and we were given only the menu of dishes, without the drinks menu or prices. The quantity of food was average, but essential information was missing, such as a list of allergens and a specification of whether the products were fresh or frozen. The extras were not very transparent: desserts €5, freshly bottled wine €6, plastic water €2, cans €3, coffee €1.50. The restaurant really needs a refresh, especially the veranda area, which appears neglected. If the goal is to offer an experience similar to other "all-you-can-eat" restaurants, then imposing kitchen closing times makes no sense: doing so only risks disappointing customers.
