12/07/2026: We booked through the discount portal (after all, we knew we'd get hungry soon, given the day spent at the beach, so why not take advantage of it?) We were greeted by the very kind and smiling staff, despite the heat. They should be a model for many Italian restaurateurs, or so-called restaurateurs. They even went above and beyond, helping me with a personal issue that I won't mention in this review, but which for me made the difference between a shitty evening and a wonderful one spent with my two loves (there are three of them, but one is in Milan studying for his upcoming university exams). As for the service, the waiter had prepared two different tables for us, one under the gazebo and one near the entrance. Top man, giving us the choice, we opted for the gazebo outside, obviously. Unfortunately, you can't see the sea, but it's there 200 meters away and you can imagine it. The wine by the glass is good (top man); he had recommended a bottle, and it would have been cheaper, but we wouldn't have drunk it, so more points for the excellent recommendation. We ordered, and the food was excellent. If I had to find the only two criticisms, they would be: the portion of mussel soup could be slightly larger, the prices could be a bit lower, and the tiramisu could be improved, but it's good (a purely subjective comment from my other son). Other than that, I would have preferred to have dessert to go, but they advised against it. Perhaps getting a quality takeout service wouldn't be a bad idea. That said, it's a place I highly recommend, so if you're passing through Livorno and are in the area, you can't go wrong with dinner here! I'll definitely be back next time!
06/07/2026: We dined outdoors with a light breeze and a view of the harbor in the distance.
The food was excellent; we enjoyed the monkfish meatballs, burrata crostini, gnocchi al caciucco, and tuna steak.
Everything was remarkable!
In my opinion, a highly recommended place to try.
