19/01/2025: Situato nella bellissima caletta di Fetovaia assolutamente da visitare! Durante la nostra vacanza era la meta giornaliera da Cavoli per fare una bella passeggiata e prendere il giornale ( in quanto a metà settembre era unico posto dove arrivava ) personale anche del bar molto gentile, buono per fare una sosta con caffè e brioche. Come in tutta l’isola problema principale il parcheggio… x questo noi andavamo a piedi !

24/09/2024: Si mangia bene e ci sono tutti i prezzi. Colazione buonissima,le brioches le riempiono al momento.dentro al bar c'è anche un edicola ma la signora potrebbe essere più simpatica😂

03/06/2025: Seafood restaurant a few steps from the sea, everything very good and tasty. Family atmosphere, few seats. Andrea the owner comes to greet all the tables and make sure that the dishes are to our liking. Very nice to feel pampered. Highly recommended for those who love simple and tasty cuisine.

30/04/2025: .....We are on Elba for the Rally which is already something exclusive and a pleasure to have the opportunity to be present in this Tuscan paradise!!! Impossible not to pass by the Tessis tavern in Portoferraio: Massimo n.1!! Indescribable as an experience and impossible not to pass by here.......

01/05/2025: Andare da Massimo è un po' come approdare al solito porto sicuro. Il locale è accogliente nella sua semplicità e trovo la sua pizza sottile decisamente buona. Il titolare, apparentemente burbero, in realtà è molto attento ai desideri del cliente. Prezzi ragionevoli.

11/05/2025: I went last night for the first time, super carbonara and the same fried food, I didn't like the stuffed mussels very much, the tomato didn't match the mussel. Sore point is the wine... they are certainly served at Ess..a With a few euros they can get by...in my opinion a place like this with such a beautiful location deserves other labels. Menu with medium-low prices and generous portions

30/05/2025: Surely something has changed because, being a historic restaurant, it does not give the quality you expect. Acceptable dishes but too touristy. It lacks that typical Tuscan flavor that you expect on this beautiful island.

23/05/2025: Siamo stati accolti con molta gentilezza,servizio veloce. Abbiamo preso un antipasto di polpo eccellente, due spaghetti alle vongole ,buoni succosi ma se devo dire un appunto formato della pasta non adatto (spaghettini) e anche un po’ troppo al dente per i miei gusti!avrei preferito un formato tipo spaghetto quadrato ☺️. Dolci buoni ma nella media. Conto un po’ elevato! Consiglio però vivamente per la freschezza del pesce!! Gentile il ragazzo che ci ha servito!

04/10/2024: Favorite restaurant on Elba! Franco the boss is fantastic, always listen to his recommendations. Finally, anchovies in tomato sauce. :) Inconspicuous restaurant, cheap and yet so good. Big recommendation!

05/06/2025: On the sea with a fabulous sunset, quality cuisine with sensory paths that pleasantly surprise the palate. Good local wine list. Kind and welcoming staff and prices appropriate to the proposals.

24/04/2025: Servizio di sala impeccabile! Notevole sperienza gustativa e visiva, abbiamo apprezzato tutto, anche l'abbinamento con un ottimo vino elbano che non conoscevamo. Squisito il polpo adagiato sul millefoglie di patata e il totaki di tonno. Serata particolare!

22/04/2025: Porto azzurro ed in genere offrono una grande gamma di locali dove mangiare pesce molluschi e crostacei alla maniera tradizionale dell’ isola con sapori tipici del luogo. Non mancano anche le trattorie che servono piatti poveri dei minatori e dei contadini di una volta. Ma sono pochissimi i locali che offrono una cucina di alto livello, elaborata ed innovativa con la possibilità di un menù ricco di crudite, di primi e secondi curatissimi nella presentazione e nel mix di gusti che esplodono in bocca, pesce freschissimo e lavorazione efficace della materia prima. Uno di questi è la Botte Gaia, situato in una ex chiesetta sconsacrata, con pochi coperti (indispensabile prenotare) ed uno staff estremamente competente e prodigo di spiegazioni. I dessert fatti in casa sono originali e creativi. Grande carta dei vini con gemme locali e dei distillati, compreso un whisky ottenuto da luppolo locale. Esperienza fra le migliori in assoluto.

01/10/2024: Situato in fondo a dx della spiaggia di Procchio, sul mare, ovvero sulla battigia, c’è questa baracchina di legno con veranda e tavolini di legno, in cui si susseguono avventori soddisfatti dal cibo (pesce fresco) mangiato e dalla location fantastica. Servizio alla mano ma puntuale e gentile. Menù con pochi piatti ma qualunque cosa scegli va bene, anzi benissimo. Noi ci abbiamo mangiato a pranzo alcuni giorni di fila e ci siamo alzati sempre soddisfatti, anche del prezzo. Consigliato

13/09/2024: Mi experiencia fue realmente buena, la comida muy rica, los precios súper bien , el ambiente muy agradable se siente Italia allí , la vista fenomenal. Lo único que no tienen postre, es una pena, solo tienen helado. Pero fue excelente. Lo recomiendo 100x100

14/05/2025: We were a large group, and unfortunately, I never received my original order and had to place a new one. I ordered a spicy salami pizza, but it wasn’t spicy at all—in fact, it was bland and tasted like raw dough. Honestly, it might be the worst pizza I’ve ever had.

12/05/2025: Restaurant facing the blue port, fast and friendly service. The very nice and helpful owner was with us during and after dinner to chat about the good life of this island and offered us a delicious local amaro... average food and bill, good pizza and good fish. We will return on another trip. Thanks for the thousand tips...those from Brianza table from 11 am to 9.00 but they arrived early!🤣🤪
