18/08/2024: Very nice location, excellent! the location remains the only positive thing the restaurant offers. We arrived and they hadn't marked the reservation! (Booked 20 days in advance)… anyway they find a place. We wait 20 minutes just to ask for water and bread, after which we wait just as many to continue with the order. Exactly 1 hour and 50 minutes pass from the time of ordering to the arrival of the starters, MADNESS. The starter arrived at 11.30pm, without even bothering to apologize, look, serve something... nothing. Tremendous starter, a Catalan which was nothing more than boiled fish without any type of fruit or vegetables or accompanying sauces as written on the menu. Moving on to the first courses, terrible spaghetti with sea urchin, zero creaming, only (low quality) ingredients put together... and, among other things, eaten lukewarm, as it was not served at the same time as my girlfriend's first course. The other first course was pacchero with yellow cherry tomatoes and scampi. Practically zero scampi and an acidic and very liquid yellow tomato sauce, here too zero creaming. All assembled. Served without Olive Powder (as written on the menu) A knife falls, I ask for another one, the waitress takes it from the next table with people sitting who were at the dessert and had not used that knife. Ant on the table. Terrible service. Rude and unfortunately, sorry to say, but truly clumsy. I strongly advise against it! All smoke and no fire!

22/08/2024: Terrible experience! The place with outdoor tables in the port area is pleasant, but the service is absolutely inadequate and the food unclassifiable: in the linguine with clams and bottarga the clams were ALL closed and I found three hairs. The prawn risotto would have been decent but the prawns were not peeled. We arrived at the venue at 12, just as it opened, so the toilets should have been clean, but in reality they were dirty, probably from the night before. To top it off, the bill was done "by hand" by the owner who certainly rounded up the cover charge!

22/08/2024: Good trattoria located in the historic district of Venice. Tasty dishes, attentive and fast service. All in all good prices: first course, second course, dessert, water and a glass of house wine 30 euros. Lemon rice with prawns highly recommended.

04/08/2024: Definitely an excellent location, definitely quality food even if it takes a long time, but I didn't like the advance payment, as did the advance request for the money for the coffee which was extra twice as much... in my opinion it loses refinement.

27/07/2024: We returned as promised, we enjoyed the terrace, the view, everything was wonderful. Exceptional first courses, I had the spaghetti with clams and bottarga, I recommend taking it, you won't regret it, the lady had a burrata ravioli with fabulous prawn and scampi sauce, continuing with a fried dish surrounded by vegetables, salad and truly excellent yogurt cream , we moved on to dessert, a reinterpretation of Montblanc with strawberry filling and surrounded by chocolate flakes and I must say, a good chef. As a wine, an extradry San Martino prosecco that was drunk. A compliment to the truly top chef, Giorgia and a special thanks to our waiter... And then the previous review. Immersed in a corner of paradise in a very famous place on the outskirts of Castioncello. An enchanting place in a particular structure carved and built on the face of the steep cliff overlooking the sea. Excellent food and friendly staff. I want to go back.

08/08/2024: We visited this restaurant with high expectations, because - unique location, dress code, tables covered with linen, etc. However, the reception was already unpleasant, the waiter arrogantly scanned our clothes. And that is very different from discreetly checking to see if someone walks in wearing swimwear. Anyway, we were neatly dressed (although with wet hair). As a tourist, I tried to have a friendly chat with the waiter, but this was impossible. He was arrogant and grumpy and didn't waste a word with us. Bizarre. The famous 'catch of the day' turned out to be the biggest pig in a poke because this delicacy sold per kilo. Ultimately opted for 'tapas', 22 euros - this was a small bite of fish (mackerel?) with sliced ​​tomato and 'shrimp carpaccio' - a very small amount of shrimp with little taste - cost around 25 euros. We were not asked if we enjoyed it. We pinned our hopes on the main course (the waiter was beyond saving and I hope he will one day do a job he likes). We both ordered octopus as a main course (30 euros per dish) - unfortunately. Octopus may be meaty and have a bite, but it was tough and overpriced, just like the starters. It was a pathetic pile of polpa with burnt tentacles topped with a few potato wedges. The waiter took it out without asking how it had tasted, even with the starter, and that irritated me immensely. In short, I gave friendly feedback at checkout and even though 10 euros was deducted, we still paid way too much for this 'gastronomy', especially the total lack of hospitality was shocking. Sanitary facilities not clean - if you act pretentious, make sure you have a neat toilet area. Positive and good price-quality ratio: delicious espresso for 3 euros, served by a grumpy waiter, but in a unique location, which means that the coffee gets a passing grade. But that's all. What you can do: bring swimwear and towels and go swimming in this unique bay where you can take beautiful photos and have a wonderful swim! Bring water shoes because of stones!

05/08/2024: We had dinner at the Le Viste Restaurant and were absolutely not disappointed. The location of the restaurant is priceless and the food is no different. We ordered two appetizers, two second courses, a dessert, two glasses of wine and spent €73 each. A little higher than the local average but absolutely worth it for a dinner. Be careful to carefully look at the instructions on their website to reach the restaurant by car :)

I piatti e il vino proposto hanno fatto da cornice. Top!

01/07/2024: Questo ristorante consigliato da un amico è un luogo caratteristico, sorprendente nella sua semplicità e confortevole. Si mangia menù sia di mare che di terra e propone un menù bimbi abbondante e di ottima qualità molto apprezzato dai miei nipotini di otto anni. Ho mangiato ottimo pesce, di ogni qualità e il piatto che mi ha entusiasmato all'ennesima potenza è il CACIUCCO. Perfetto e indimenticabile. Gestione formidabile e personale squisito ed informale. 23/06/2024: Siamo andati consigliati da conoscenti...evidentemente il livello di gradimento di queste persone non ha le mie stesse misure...il servizio molto scarso il cibo normalissimo...il conto con errore...di cui mi sono accorto per fortuna sennò avremmo pagato 9 euro in più a persona...chiaramente non mi rivedranno più...

24/08/2024: We went to the restaurant attracted by the location which is its strong point. To have a table in the front row, i.e. overlooking the sea, we had to book for the second round at 9.30pm. We were disappointed by the insufficient professionalism of the staff, some improvised waiters and by the fact that some banal dishes such as mussels and salad were missing from the menu as they were finished with the customers of the first round. If you force me to come on the second round you must also be able to organize the kitchen in such a way as to offer the same service to the customers of the second round. Fresh fish, nothing unforgettable, insufficient value for money, romantic location.

07/08/2024: At Calanova, all expectations of a fantastic restaurant are exceeded. The location of the restaurant is unique. Away from the hustle and bustle, you will find Calanova in a beautiful little bay with an indescribably beautiful view. The welcome is very warm and the service is extremely accommodating. The greeting from the kitchen is already a taste explosion, but that is just the beginning of a wonderful evening of enjoyment. The bread served is extraordinary, the starter and main course are absolutely fresh and cannot be beaten in terms of taste. After the main course you are very happy and have no idea that the dessert will literally make you melt. In summary, the experience, the service, the ambience and the food are just perfect! Come by and enjoy it yourself!

27/08/2024: A cena in famiglia un martedì di fine agosto: cibo ottimo, pesce fresco e piatti curati, pizze varie ben cotte e saporite, dolci eccezionali. Nonostante siano solo in due persone a gestire la sala e chiaramente ci sia un po' di attesa, vale davvero la pena!

27/08/2024: Local characterized by a good location on the seafront, next to a main road. Fish consumed much more than fresh, cooked to perfection. Fried food highly recommended! The only thing I didn't love was the external seating which, due to the shape of the place, forces the side tables to be slightly inclined
