10/01/2026: For years, I wasn't able to experience the Via dei Guicceri restaurant due to work reasons, but as soon as I had the chance, it was worth the drive. The service was impeccable, and I commend the dining room staff for treating us like friends. The cuisine, simple but with few ingredients, is uniquely high quality. The price is incredibly affordable, and even the most refined wines are within reach of those seeking an unforgettable experience.

18/02/2026: Mediterranean cuisine with a fusion twist. The spaghetti with chili pepper and sea urchin pulp is worth trying. Excellent local wine cellar.

Only fix menu: the cheapest was 30€ each which included 1 small appetizer, 1 small entrée, 1 desert and coffee. Wine and water are extra. They charged 10€ for portion of penne pasta with olive oil for a kid. Service was average. UPDATE After receiving a “like” on my review, which suggests that other clients share similar feelings, I feel compelled to update it. After reading your reply, I am also compelled to remove additional stars. I expressed a personal opinion about pricing and service, which I am fully entitled to do as a customer. Your response, however, was unnecessarily aggressive, condescending, and disrespectful — not only toward me, but, judging from other replies, toward other clients as well. For someone who presents themselves as promoting good food, good times, and hospitality, your tone communicates something very different. And to be clear: we were not “friends.” I was a paying customer. In that moment, you were providing a service — nothing more, nothing less. Courtesy and professionalism should apply regardless of whether a client agrees with you or not. Criticism can be discussed; rudeness cannot be justified.

05/02/2026: It was a great experience. The food is very good and the value for money is excellent. The service is superb: the waiters are smart and fast. The space is a bit small, and since the place is always busy, you have to raise your voice a bit to talk. The owner is very friendly and easygoing, always with a joke ready. I highly recommend it; it's a guarantee.

15/01/2026: The cacciucco was delicious; I'm no expert, but I gorged on it. Two cacciuccos, a quarter of red wine, and water. €65 well spent. Centrally located, perfect for a nice stroll. I recommend it.

29/10/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant with a beautiful view of the harbor. A large restaurant with both indoor and outdoor tables, both on the inner side of the city walls. A la carte menu. We opted for two appetizers and two pistachio-crusted tuna. Delicious! Recommended!

25/01/2026: Surprise, excellent food, warm welcome. Fish soup like my grandmother used to make, excellent grilled squid, perfectly tender and flavorful, panna cotta with punch cream. I'll definitely be back.

01/02/2026: Everything is excellent, but a special mention goes to the super cacciucco! A traditional recipe with various types of fish, shellfish, and lots of tomato, served on a bed of delicious bread with just enough garlic. Just the right amount of spicy, not watery, but just the right amount of thick, just the right amount of strong. There's no comparison to fish soups; cacciucco is a dish in itself.
