You can immediately taste the emphasis on quality and passion. The chef and his daughter are incredibly charming and make you feel immediately welcome. The value for money is absolutely top-notch – everything just fits together perfectly here. It's a highlight every time, and we're already looking forward to our next visit!

04/05/2026: The room we stayed in was excellent: clean, spacious enough, and with a tidy bathroom. There was also a small terrace, air conditioning, and a refrigerator.
The management was friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was excellent.

30/05/2026: We walked past this place with a couple having the same dish as the photo. We went in and ordered the same. After touring the Tuscany trail and Elba island. The seafood and pasta here was incredible. It's a place you can go on a date and bring the family if you want some real Italian food. I'd even recommend starting with win just 50m up the road. This local restaurant is a hidden gem!

It's nice to go to a place where you feel comfortable.
No intimidation, just a lot of friendliness.
The food was truly delicious.
Truly remarkable traditional dishes.
Generous portions.
We were two couples of friends.
We had four appetizers to share, a first or second course, four coffees, three desserts (exquisite tiramisu), two bottles of water (mineral/sparkling), and a half-liter of sparkling white wine.
We spent €120.
There's no specific menu, and I didn't see the prices of the dishes, and even though the selections were varied, that helped make it fun.
The staff were all welcoming and friendly.
We went there by chance, but maybe not.
I'd gladly go back.

06/05/2025: Reading the reviews, it seemed like a retro place, but with a simple but valid offering.
We happened upon a night when pizza wasn't available (perhaps you should specify this when you book, since it's primarily a pizzeria) due to their own problems. We decided to stay anyway, given how late it was, and we regretted it: terrible appetizers, poorly prepared and rushed first courses.
It's a shame because it really gave the impression of a tired, worn-out place. From the staff to the place, I couldn't find a single positive thing... not even the POS was working that night.
I'm sorry, but I would never recommend it.

31/07/2025: Despite spending many summers in Follonica, it was our first time trying this fish and chip shop... and the experience was beyond positive.
We ordered fried shrimp and squid to go: good-quality fish, fried to perfection—crispy, dry, and not at all greasy.
The staff were friendly and the fresh fish counter was well-stocked, making it a surefire way to return for more to cook at home.
A great find!

29/09/2025: A restaurant inside a campsite. I booked using the TheFork app, but even though it was still summer, they gave me a table inside. The food was good but nothing special, especially considering the amount ordered (an appetizer for two, a first course, a fried dish, water, and house wine) and the 20% discount. Honestly, I wouldn't go back.
