07/08/2026: The food was truly good and of high quality, so it's a shame the service was so disappointing. We ordered a fritto misto with fries, but only one dish arrived, while the other five diners had to wait about 30 minutes. The pasta was served first, and only after that did all the pizzas arrive together. The fries, ordered with the fritto misto, were brought after the fries had already been eaten. Furthermore, the staff didn't greet us with a greeting or a smile, and throughout the entire dinner, their attention to us was minimal. At the end, we weren't even offered a small courtesy, like a limoncello or a amaro. The food is worth it, but organized and friendly service is equally important. We hope you can improve these aspects, because this won't make for an experience that will make you want to return.

21/06/2026: ⭐☆☆☆☆ I can overlook some poor service, minor lapses in cleanliness or organization, but not rudeness. Those who work with the public should know how to treat customers with courtesy and respect, regardless of the situation. Unfortunately, I encountered rude and arrogant behavior from the owners, which made the experience decidedly unpleasant. I was honestly shocked. I won't return and I absolutely don't recommend them.

20/06/2026: The owners are very friendly, and the beach and food are excellent. They gave us good advice on getting a tent instead of an umbrella, which costs a little more but is extremely convenient. Recommended.

09/06/2026: An excellent dinner featuring land and sea appetizers, delicious spaghetti with clams and pappardelle with wild boar ragù. The dessert was also delicious and beautifully presented, and then a sea view and fireworks to round out a special evening.

06/01/2026: Went for New Year's Eve dinner with a group of friends. The food was rather poor: the sgabei were greasy and soggy, the cod fritters were all pasta and very little cod, but the rest was average, the cold cuts were decent. The seafood spaghetti was made with floury, tasteless frozen mussels, and the sea bream ravioli were washed out and had a tasteless sauce. The Catalana, if you can call it that, was made with only frozen shrimp and inedible cuttlefish, surrounded by carrots and celery without a drop of oil. The cotechino was cold and had very few lentils, almost nonexistent. The dessert consisted of a slice of pandoro with a little cream. A bad experience. I hope the food quality is better on normal days. The service was good.

01/06/2026: So I contacted the venue to book a table for a night out with five friends on May 23rd. They offered us €80 each for admission, starting at midnight, including a bottle of wine. We arrived, and the venue was beautiful with good music, but without anyone having told us, we were barred from accessing the rather large dance floor in front of the decks, and there was no way to get in. Furthermore, the venue was already closed at 4:00. It seemed like a joke. First and last time.

31/05/2026: Unfortunately, I have to confirm what I'd read in many Google reviews about the service. At first, I honestly didn't believe it and thought people were exaggerating, but after my experience a few days ago, I realized they were absolutely right. The service was truly awful—in fact, very, very bad. The staff was inattentive, the wait was incredibly long, and there was a complete lack of organization. We had to call the staff's attention several times because it seemed like no one was paying attention to the customers. For a place like this, with its prices and reputation, this is absolutely unacceptable. The food was passable, nothing special (2 out of 5 stars), definitely not up to expectations. The atmosphere is nice and well-kept (3 out of 5 stars), but honestly, when the service is this terrible, even a beautiful location loses its value completely. I thought the negative reviews were exaggerated, but after trying it, I can say that the service is truly, truly, incredibly poor. A very disappointing experience.

07/06/2026: Delightful little restaurant near the seafront, outdoor tables on the sidewalk in the pedestrian area, exquisite dinner, good and fast service, reasonable prices.

01/07/2026: I'm sorry, but this place isn't up to par with what it offers. The staff isn't trained, they don't know the menu or what's available. Furthermore, they took more than half an hour to deliver the menu because the kitchen was quite busy. So after we ordered, another 40 minutes passed. They didn't show any consideration, so it's a regular problem. We're by the sea, but if you offer a service at a reasonable price...

05/08/2026: We arrive for a pizza dinner, and they immediately seat us, without mentioning anything specific about the wait time. After taking our drinks order, only when it comes to ordering pizzas do they inform us that there will be a 20-minute wait. We're not locals, and the evening isn't too hot, so we decide to wait. The 20 minutes become almost an hour! When it comes to paying the bill, not an excuse... but rather €6 (€3 for two) for a non-existent cover charge (we had also asked for bread or focaccia while waiting for our pizzas, but nothing!) A rip-off. The pizza prices aren't exactly popular, and the drinks are also out of the ordinary. I understand that it could be a bad night, even from an organizational standpoint, but this establishment is a classic example of terrible hospitality and how NOT to run a restaurant. I love Marina di Vecchiano, but we won't be returning to this place.

09/08/2026: I think it's the best restaurant I've ever had. Despite having 4-star reviews, we wanted to try it. We had two appetizers and two first courses with water and a glass of Franciacorta. We spent about €150, but believe me, I'd return a thousand times over. The fresh fish they offer is hard to find anywhere else, the customer service is top-notch, and the octopus, in my case, was super fresh and tasty. Not to mention the spaghetti with lobster, which was very good, if not exceptional. I've never eaten so good in my entire life. It will remain our go-to restaurant for when we return to Elba.

07/08/2026: Unfortunately, three out of four dishes didn't taste like much, but the worst part was the rudeness and listlessness of the entire staff. The dining room was completely disorganized. The view is beautiful, but it's not worth the trip up the hill on those extremely difficult roads for driving.
