09/06/2026: Good food, but the service was too long... even with a reservation, the hour and a half wait in the heat was hard to bear (if they had told us when we booked that was the only available seat, we wouldn't have come). The food was good, but the servings were meager for the price. Service was 50/50: one waitress was kind and smiling and occasionally spoke to you, while the other was the complete opposite, not responding to "thank you" messages or even looking you in the eye. I had a seafood pasta dish and couldn't ask for a dish for the shells or a hand towel because the waitress had already left. I wanted to order dessert, but I gave up because once our courses were finished, they continued to ignore us and no one asked if we wanted it. The price for an appetizer, first course, second course, water (from 70!!!!!!) and two glasses of red wine was 75 euros. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

04/10/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant yesterday by chance. The wait staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, even promptly responding to our request to move and light the fire pit to keep our two-month-old baby warm. The food was excellent, the wait time was normal for freshly prepared dishes, and the wine was also worth it. They accept dogs and were kind enough to provide a bowl of water if needed. I really liked that the chef (and I assume the owner) walked around the tables to make sure everything was okay, but without being intrusive. I highly recommend it and thank them for the wonderful evening we spent there.

01/06/2026: Truly exceptional seafood, and the place has an incredible view. The owner recommends the best dishes and makes you feel right at home—he knows what he's talking about. I recommend booking well in advance to enjoy the front-row tables overlooking the sea. Highly recommended.

31/05/2026: The location is stunning, but difficult to get to. Unfortunately, the dishes served didn't reflect the prices at all. The fried calamari was lacking in seafood and heavily battered, and the first courses, presented as gourmet dishes, had very simple flavors; the pasta wasn't cooked perfectly and the flavors were bland. On the other hand, the young waitress was very friendly, and the staff even offered a price cut due to the fried food. Overall, the location is very charming, but it's a shame because beyond the appearance, there could be much more substance.

17/06/2026: I'll start by saying I didn't want to write this review, but when we saw the indifference... We told the waitress and waiter that the fried calamari smelled nauseating... The waiter couldn't believe it, but when he smelled it, he was astonished. Like the sesame-crusted tuna steak, it was burnt and stringy. We pointed it out, but there was no clarification on this dish either, as if it were normal, not at all. I'll answer your question: it's not at all jealousy, in fact, the mezzé paccheri were really good. And your indifference and lack of explanation really made us indignant. Anyway, your restaurant was recommended to us; it can happen on a bad day. No.

16/06/2026: I had the pleasure of visiting the restaurant and want to express my appreciation for the excellent service I received. The wait staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The fried food, in particular, was exquisite: crispy, dry, and of excellent quality. The entire service was impeccable, and both the waiters and management welcomed us with a warmth that made us feel at ease. We plan to return in the future.

07/06/2026: A pleasant seafood dinner. Quality ingredients, especially the catch of the day, which you can see displayed. The sea urchin pasta dish was delicious, and the location is inviting, especially at sunset in the summer. Prices are average, and the service is very good. We'll be back to try other dishes.

31/05/2026: A truly pleasant discovery! I was delighted to note the change in management, and I must say the improvement was noticeable right away. From the welcome to the service, I felt pampered from start to finish; the entire staff was extremely kind and attentive. I ordered a mixed fried fish dish, which was truly excellent, light and not at all heavy. I then tried the pici with scampi, equally delicious, richly seasoned, and very flavorful. I also appreciated the details: each table is provided with a bottle of local olive oil produced in Castiglione della Pescaia, and the bread is promptly refilled as soon as it runs out, a sign of great customer care. A truly positive experience in every way. I will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for good fish, quality, and courtesy! 😊

18/05/2026: La Conchiglia is the beach restaurant, but it's high-end. We ate very well, and the staff were really friendly. Without the umbrellas, the view was breathtaking, just a few meters from the water. Highly recommended.

27/02/2026: The restaurant on Piazza Bovio offers breathtaking views of the Piombino Channel and the Tuscan archipelago...from the terrace, you can occasionally glimpse Corsica. The place is welcoming, and the staff is friendly and professional. Davide, the owner, has decades of experience in the restaurant business and always knows how to offer the best recommendations. The cuisine is fresh and top-quality seafood, and the wines are excellent. Well done to all the staff...highly recommended.
