18/04/2026: A home-like experience! It's nice to go to a place where you feel comfortable. No intimidation, just a lot of friendliness. The food was truly delicious. Truly remarkable traditional dishes. Generous portions. We were two couples of friends. We had four appetizers to share, a first or second course, four coffees, three desserts (exquisite tiramisu), two bottles of water (mineral/sparkling), and a half-liter of sparkling white wine. We spent €120. There's no specific menu, and I didn't see the prices of the dishes, and even though the selections were varied, that helped make it fun. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. We went there by chance, but maybe not. I'd gladly go back.

09/06/2026: Good food, but the service was too long... even with a reservation, the hour and a half wait in the heat was hard to bear (if they had told us when we booked that was the only available seat, we wouldn't have come). The food was good, but the servings were meager for the price. Service was 50/50: one waitress was kind and smiling and occasionally spoke to you, while the other was the complete opposite, not responding to "thank you" messages or even looking you in the eye. I had a seafood pasta dish and couldn't ask for a dish for the shells or a hand towel because the waitress had already left. I wanted to order dessert, but I gave up because once our courses were finished, they continued to ignore us and no one asked if we wanted it. The price for an appetizer, first course, second course, water (from 70!!!!!!) and two glasses of red wine was 75 euros. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

18/07/2026: We dined at this restaurant, fully expecting to find pizza and meat, as described online. Instead, we found a limited menu of only fish. The 55-minute wait for an appetizer was unacceptable. At least, when you order, you're warned about the wait, although it wasn't that bad. Let's move on to the main course. The baby octopus was delicious, well-made, but if the menu says "with polenta," you can't replace it with a slice of bread. Perhaps you should warn them about the day-old bread. All this at an excessive price for what they offer.

16/07/2026: A small restaurant where I had a truly delicious meal. I agree with previous reviews that the service is very slow because everything is freshly cooked with locally sourced ingredients, but when the food arrives, the wait is more than worth it. The price is in line with the quality offered.

14/06/2026: The website listed incorrect opening hours. The restaurant was supposed to be open from 11 am. We arrived at 12 pm and were turned away. That's unacceptable.

12/05/2026: A very distinctive restaurant where the quality and deliciousness of the dishes are truly outstanding, a place where the culture of fresh fish is its true icon. I had never eaten CACIUCCO, being from Rome, and I must say it is truly a triumph of the sea. I also enjoyed the dishes of my other friends: spaghetti with clams and lemon, seafood parcels, squid ink rice, stuffed squid, which are breathtaking just by looking at them. Then there was the friendliness and courtesy of the staff, all exquisitely female... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

01/08/2026: I ordered paccheri allo scoglio with obviously frozen fish and trofie with shrimp, but there wasn't even one shrimp... there were 5 shrimp, obviously frozen too, on the menu no mention of frozen products, which makes you think it was fresh fish... even from the prices... absolutely not recommended...

25/07/2026: Ordered takeout pizzas to eat on the beach... terrible, the worst I've ever had, the pizza bases were obviously packaged, the dough was similar to Eurospin pizza tongs. They also got the ingredients wrong on one pizza. The fish first and second courses may be good, but DON'T GET THE PIZZA!!! Very beautiful location It overlooks the gulf

29/09/2025: A restaurant inside a campsite. I booked using the TheFork app, but even though it was still summer, they gave me a table inside. The food was good but nothing special, especially considering the amount ordered (an appetizer for two, a first course, a fried dish, water, and house wine) and the 20% discount. Honestly, I wouldn't go back.

31/05/2026: A truly pleasant discovery! I was delighted to note the change in management, and I must say the improvement was noticeable right away. From the welcome to the service, I felt pampered from start to finish; the entire staff was extremely kind and attentive. I ordered a mixed fried fish dish, which was truly excellent, light and not at all heavy. I then tried the pici with scampi, equally delicious, richly seasoned, and very flavorful. I also appreciated the details: each table is provided with a bottle of local olive oil produced in Castiglione della Pescaia, and the bread is promptly refilled as soon as it runs out, a sign of great customer care. A truly positive experience in every way. I will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for good fish, quality, and courtesy! 😊

07/05/2026: We booked online for April 25th, 12 of us, during one of the stages of the Via Fancigena. In the afternoon, we received a confirmation email reminding us of our reservation. At 8:30 PM, exhausted from the walk, we headed to the restaurant, which, surprisingly, was closed! It was truly absurd. 12 people without food, having to look for somewhere to eat at the last minute.
