02/05/2026: The atmosphere is refined and unique for a beach restaurant. The food is well-prepared and the seafood is delicious.

26/04/2026: Oh well! The restaurant is right on the sea, and that helps a lot. Plus, the colors and decor are cute and themed. Unfortunately, the food is what it is... lots of frozen foods, unrelated seasonings, a risotto that's just rice and seasoning, no creaming whatsoever, so-so frying... To top it all off, there was a HAIR in the sleeves... Frankly, it was very disappointing.

11/05/2026: I went into the bar to have breakfast and work for half an hour since my train was delayed, a very bad decision because (I presume) the owner at a certain point blurted out, "You're not at home" and "I need permission." I was left speechless and very embarrassed by these comments. I was just working in a corner of the bar, as I always do in these situations. I've never been treated so rudely and impolitely. Apparently, in this bar, putting a laptop on the table is considered the equivalent of shouting and throwing firecrackers. Stay away if you're looking for a quiet place to hang out.

12/07/2026: Dinner with friends, very nice place, efficient and fast service despite the restaurant being full... shame about the food... poor quality spaghetti with clams, tasteless, it seemed like eating a simple pasta with oil and overcooked, fried food with poor quality potatoes and terrible and overpriced wine (from €10-13 in the supermarket it is sold for €28!!!).

06/07/2026: We're here on holiday. My daughter's birthday is today, and she wanted to eat at this restaurant with a sea view. For some reason, we weren't served, which I found very disappointing. We were completely ignored. Thanks for nothing.

18/05/2026: The pizzeria with that name no longer exists. Ten years ago, we were at the campsite opposite. Today, we wanted to go to David 2, but the shutters were down, and a local resident confirmed that this pizzeria is no longer there. A new pizzeria has opened at the campsite instead.

29/03/2026: The owner and staff are incredibly kind and friendly. The pizza is light and never burnt, and the wait is almost non-existent. I recommend David 2 because it's a relaxing and welcoming place, thanks to the owner and staff. With David 2, your evenings won't be a simple stop-off. Giorgio and his staff manage to work professionally and communicate with customers at the same time (a huge strength). You never get bored with them, and customers quickly become friends. 18/01/2026: Aimed at tourists, very obvious to see. Pizza not very good compared to other places around. Charge for dry uneatable bread you did not order. Do not recommend.

22/09/2025: Everything was excellent, but the grilling of the swordfish and squid had to be repeated. The fish must be well-cooked on the grill.

22/07/2026: We went there a few times while on vacation. The food was really delicious. Good value for money. The only slightly negative thing was that the young waiter was a bit unfriendly.

26/07/2026: Il Fortino has the advantage of a well located venue but predictably lacking the follow through on fare. It has a limited menu that is overpriced and can only be read off your mobile from a Covid inspired hangover of the QR code! This is laziness disguised as progress. QR is abbreviation for “Quick Read”which is fine for a MacDonald menu but not for a Tratoria! My 150g tagliata was priced at €45 and added to this, is the other favourite of Italian venues - the Coperta (€7 pp)! Sadly, Il Fortino, is underwhelming and as mentioned, overpriced.

12/07/2026: First, the manager accused us of being 30 minutes late! No, we were on time! That's no way to treat guests these days! The food was okay, but simply not good enough for the exorbitant prices! Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place! Friendliness and quality are essential these days.

06/05/2025: Reading the reviews, it seemed like a retro place, but with a simple but valid offering. We happened upon a night when pizza wasn't available (perhaps you should specify this when you book, since it's primarily a pizzeria) due to their own problems. We decided to stay anyway, given how late it was, and we regretted it: terrible appetizers, poorly prepared and rushed first courses. It's a shame because it really gave the impression of a tired, worn-out place. From the staff to the place, I couldn't find a single positive thing... not even the POS was working that night. I'm sorry, but I would never recommend it.

29/06/2026: Everything was absolutely perfect, starting with the quality of the food! The waitresses are all incredibly good and incredibly kind to each customer! The children's play area with a water slide and inflatables is very well-kept! The wait times are normal, but you can't ask for more! Prices are normal, if not below average! I highly recommend them!

06/04/2026: Honestly, I've been there for lunch before, but today I was very disappointed. I didn't find any taste or seafood flavor—dishes I make at home, too.

22/02/2026: Stay away, both for the food and the restaurant owner. Lunch on February 22nd, reservation with The Fork, for two people. I had pici with mussels and pecorino cheese; basically, it was pici with cherry tomatoes and pecorino cheese, with a few mussels thrown in, without even the faintest hint of mussels (this dish is usually served plain). My wife had fried fish, which tasted average. The best part was the fried anchovies, which were truly inedible and had a terrible flavor. We pointed this out to the waiter and sent them back. I assure you, they were truly inedible. When paying the bill, I pointed this out to the owner, who even joked about it, and obviously added them to the final bill. A terrible experience. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

11/06/2026: Given that I'm not a beach lover and rarely go, I particularly loved the elegant, yet understated and friendly location. I'll be back soon, this time not just passing through, but with my whole family. PS: I'd recommend it to friends too.

28/05/2026: Excellent beach club to spend the day. The staff was attentive and friendly! Food was excellent and obviously the location is perfect to rent a cabana for the day
