13/10/2025: We had lunch in this restaurant by chance, as I am a vegetarian they were very helpful in offering me alternatives to the fish menu, we ordered first courses and desserts, the food turned out to be excellent and of good quality, the location alone is worth the trip, we will definitely be back

28/09/2025: Excellent food with surprising combinations. We had fish tartare, spaghetti with squid ragu, local fish on pumpkin puree and porcini mushrooms, followed by dessert and grappa.

06/05/2025: Reading the reviews, it seemed like a retro place, but with a simple but valid offering. We happened upon a night when pizza wasn't available (perhaps you should specify this when you book, since it's primarily a pizzeria) due to their own problems. We decided to stay anyway, given how late it was, and we regretted it: terrible appetizers, poorly prepared and rushed first courses. It's a shame because it really gave the impression of a tired, worn-out place. From the staff to the place, I couldn't find a single positive thing... not even the POS was working that night. I'm sorry, but I would never recommend it.

24/10/2025: A historic restaurant in the center of Viareggio and a must-visit. The seafood menu isn't overwhelming, but the quality is truly excellent. Try the tagliolini with lobster. The wine cellar is truly well-stocked.

10/11/2025: I went there for lunch and, luckily, I called ahead because the place was quite busy. Even though it was November, it was wonderful sitting outside in the sun — such a lovely atmosphere. The restaurant is perfect for a nice meal out, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The food is absolutely sublime, every dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The service is excellent — friendly, attentive, and professional. You definitely won’t be disappointed. I totally recommend it! TRY SEAFOOD CARBONARA!!

09/08/2025: Ci siamo fermati qui per il secondo anno dovendo alloggiare nel vicino hotel per spezzare un viaggio in autostrada. Ancora più buono della prima volta. Personale gentile e accogliente, cucina tipica con un menu non lunghissimo ma vario: carne pesce, primi e pizza. Fanno anche cocktail e tutto è preparato da loro con prodotti di qualità. Atmosfera rilassante ma non formale e prezzi nella media.

22/02/2026: Vomit-inducing with hair in the first courses + 2 first courses and a second course of fried food with half a liter of house wine, 2 sgrappini for a total of €100.00, a shameful thing on top of that, the arrogant waiter!!!!😡😡I won't go back and have them closed!!!!!!!

21/09/2025: Terrible food, we paid for a set menu that included dry, tasteless, and tough baked pasta that I was afraid would break a tooth. Then they served two slices of roast beef, also dry, which I honestly don't know if they turned out that way from reheating them. A small piece of chicken and a small piece of pork chop, both raw inside. Oh, and yes, the menu listed non-existent potatoes. The waiters were kind, but I think the chef is also the owner, who was very rude. We paid a fixed price and forgot about the potatoes. He wanted to offer me coffee, but so I don't have coffee. I asked for a small piece of dessert and was told that I'll give you a €7 dessert? And he threw €10 at me on the table, which I threw back at him. Then, to top it all off, when we left, I assume the cashier had a questionable attitude, even calling us rude. I won't set foot in there again and I don't recommend it.

27/02/2026: A historic restaurant in Marina di Pisa, where they filmed scenes from "Bomber" with Bud Spencer (there are some wonderful photos). The restaurant has remained unchanged and boasts a vintage yet charming style, with a beautiful sea view. As for the food, I was a bit disappointed. The Toto appetizer wasn't fresh; the mussels were dry, and I wasn't thrilled with the octopus either. The fried calamari was good, slightly greasy but overall decent. The seafood spaghetti was good, with plenty of mussels and clams (unlike the appetizer, the mussels were fresh). The service was quick but imprecise, as they didn't bring us a dish for the shells, but that's no big deal. The prices are fair, and you can eat without spending too much. Such a historic restaurant overlooking the sea, however, could use better quality food. I ate well, but not exceptionally well. I read that it's in decline, and I sensed it. I think it's still carrying on with its former glory.

13/02/2026: We came here by chance. Only later did I discover the restaurant's fame. The atmosphere is quaint and offers a beautiful view of the sea. The food is very good; the prices are a bit high, but we had a good time. I recommend it for any occasion.

08/03/2026: A very well-kept yet informal and relaxed little place, thanks to the attentive and friendly staff. The dishes are truly excellent and the combinations are unique.

03/11/2025: Poor quality food If the staff had been at least polite, I probably wouldn't have even written a review, but the girls were all unhelpful and rude; when we left, they didn't even say goodbye. That said, the pasta was loaded with garlic, and I have nothing against garlic, but the quantity was truly disproportionate and cumbersome. Not even the tomatoes in the salad had any flavor whatsoever. In short, a purely touristy place, and not even that cheap. It's a shame, because if a foreign tourist even tastes the Taggiasca olives in those scialatielli with octopus I had, they'll form a poor opinion of the true quality of the product.

07/12/2025: Spotlessly clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff, and a superb breakfast. Highly recommended, especially for its convenient access to Salerno.

27/08/2025: We've been coming here for over 20 years and can only say good things about it, as the family who owns it has always been very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return in the coming years, as it feels like home to us.

27/02/2026: The restaurant on Piazza Bovio offers breathtaking views of the Piombino Channel and the Tuscan archipelago...from the terrace, you can occasionally glimpse Corsica. The place is welcoming, and the staff is friendly and professional. Davide, the owner, has decades of experience in the restaurant business and always knows how to offer the best recommendations. The cuisine is fresh and top-quality seafood, and the wines are excellent. Well done to all the staff...highly recommended.

04/10/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant yesterday by chance. The wait staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, even promptly responding to our request to move and light the fire pit to keep our two-month-old baby warm. The food was excellent, the wait time was normal for freshly prepared dishes, and the wine was also worth it. They accept dogs and were kind enough to provide a bowl of water if needed. I really liked that the chef (and I assume the owner) walked around the tables to make sure everything was okay, but without being intrusive. I highly recommend it and thank them for the wonderful evening we spent there.
